I dig all my common houseplants. My mother passed last April. She was passed down a Christmas cactus that she cared for the last almost 20 years since her parents passed. The plant is almost 80 years old. It was older then her. I was blessed the heirloom Christmas cactus. She sits on my table as a center piece as she is so big. She has adjusted very well to my home. I call her Mother n we have coffee every morning together. I’m saying all this to say thank you for caring for ur momma n her plants. The memories u create in this time will mean so much to u in the future. U n ur mom pick a plant that when she passes that plant passes down through generations. That plant common or not will become a generational heirloom u will cherish above all plants. Ur a good son for caring for ur momma ❤ I’m glad u shared that part of ur life w us. Also, very much enjoyed u sharing garden to table plate. Nothing like eating what u grow. I am also a gardener now for the last 5 years. Keep going cause it just gets better n better as u go, as u r able to put more n more of garden to plate. Very rewarding n great for ur health. Lastly, love the pine cones in the Hoya. Ur creativity is awesome!! Thanks for sharing ❤

Hi Dave. Aren't you a wonderful son. 😊 I so appreciate common houseplants. Your peperomia is beautiful! I like the hoya repot. And your Mom's aglaonema is awesome.
I might get that thing to grow veggies in. Your meal looked good.

You got me seriously thinking about growing veggies. I’ve always been nervous but you make it look easy. I’m going to look into this!!
You are so right about the high-priced plants versus the common ones that look just as good or even better.
Thanks for the great content once again!!

Grow the veggies!!!! Most leafy veggies grow best in the frosty cold conditions and are ready to eat after only 60days. I’ll grow some indoors just like a houseplant and show on the channel.

Hi Dave. Love your videos and your ideas for styling your plants. Was wondering if you've ever seen another TH-camr named Sundai Love? She does alot of container gardening on her balcony with fruits and vegetables, and they turn out very nice. Maybe you two could do a collaboration. Just a thought. But anyway, keep giving the great content. I've learned a few things from watching them.

I think Moms got that parrot from a local store called Big Lots, during the Spring time. Only thing I've seen similar are parrot figurines that hook on to plant pots sold on Amazon. Appreciate you tuning in!
