This season’s lineup includes some of the most beautiful and unusual tropical plants in my collection. Here's who's making big moves:
Alocasia brancifolia - The striking elegance of this plant is a sight to behold.
Anthurium argyrostachyum and Anthurium flavolineatum - Their unusual leaves bring a touch of the exotic right into my conservatory.
Anthurium recavum - A robust grower that’s showing off more than ever.
Monstera obliqua 'Peru' - Its delicate fenestrations are truly a masterpiece of nature.
Philodendron tenue - This gem has embraced my care regimen with open arms.
Monstera esqueleto - A standout with its unique leaf structure.
Drimiopsis maculata - The little dots that give it a whimsical charm are more pronounced this season.
Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask' and Colocasia 'Black Magic' - Both of these are thriving and adding dramatic flair to my collection.

Many of these plants have been transitioned to my personal style of moss pole setups, and the results are outstanding. I want to thank you for sharing your moss poles with us. I did a modified version with moss on the front and tree fern fiber, gigantic perlite, and sphagnum moss in the back. I tried it with a Philo Panduriforme and a week later I can see roots at the back! This is the way to go. I'm mostly trying to limit (eliminate?) mold and gnasty gnats by improving aeration.

happy birthday! as a fellow spanish speaker and a city dweller, pls dont worry about the speed of your speech. i actually get super annoyed when ppl speak too slow haha you're one of the ppl i watch where i dont feel the need to speed up the video 😅 on another note, i think moss poles are super ugly. since i know you own a 3d printer... i only started putting plants on poles because a friend told me about a seller on etsy who designed 3d print files for a gothic cathedral tower style moss pole! they're beautiful and modular (there's even a water resevoir piece) and sturdy enough to support my monstera deliciosas and philos. there's just something about the poles being pretty to look at, that made it easier for me to accept them in my home haha

Happy Birthday Memo! 🥳 love update videos! So happy my Esqueletto is finally growing too! I’ve had problems with attaching to moss poles also, I’ve started putting a bit of moss between the stem and plastic pole an it seems to work a lot better. I’ve noticed the aerial roots attach much faster. 💚

I saw the Flavolineatum in your video and it looks so cute. Recently a grower in my country offfered seeds and I bought some. They will arrive this week, I am so exited!

If anyone in 2020 had said I would get an Obliqua Peru for £15, grow it in normal room humidity and get at least one leaf a month, I would have asked them to share whatever they are on because none of what they just said makes any sense! ... but that's what's happened 😄

I wouldn't touch a moss pole with a ten foot janky support stick, so I don't have any experience with wayward aerial roots, but I have seen other TH-camrs moan about this.

There is an option on each video to select a different video play speed, to slow down the video for those that need it, or for me I speed people up. 👍🏻

Loved this video, I had pictures but you rarely check your instagram😂 colocasia Black Coral is capable of getting very big and is oil slick black, smaller colocasia similar is the black ripple, black beauty or illustrious is deep green as a base with black on the inside of the leaves, green veins and matte finish. Yay another 1984er 🙌🙌🙌 🌱👀 Caladiums can be annuals in colder climates but can survive with proper care indoors or in warmer areas! In my personal experience they are indoor perennials, but they go back to a bulb in winter and re emerge in spring
