  • Your body can give you a lot of insights about how you’re meeting life.
    🤔Is your energy up in your head, or is it settled down in your heart, belly, or feet?
    🤔Are your shoulders and jaw tense or relaxed?
    🤔What’s your breath doing?
    🤔Are you noticing the nuances of the space around you, or are you thinking about what comes next, or what you did in the past?
    👉Mindfulness is to meet life more lovingly, to embrace the moment that you’re in, and to thereby cultivate a richer life experience.
    If you’re too distracted by the stories in your mind, -the desires and aversions that you imagine will lead you to peace and satisfaction, the fears and regret you have about how you imagine life could be,-then you miss out on life as it really is.
    The stories in your mind are part of life, and they can be helpful and lovely, but don’t let them hijack your attention without your consent!
    👉The simplest way to practice mindfulness is just to gently guide your attention to what’s happening in your body, where your energy is, what your senses are offering you.
