Very enjoyable review video. I'd be interested to know your favorite LEGO dragons. My daughter is a dragon enthusiast and has several Ninjago and Elves dragon sets and likes the 70679 Ultra Dragon best.
Thank you for your comment! Honestly, my favorite LEGO dragon out of all the ones I've seen or built is definitely the Auspicious Dragon. While it may not have as many play features, its stunning appearance truly stands out. In terms of playability, I really enjoy the dragon that came with the latest Gringotts bank set.
I was more interested in the model than the story. Literally skipped 70% of your video :) I saw this in real life and uncommonly wasn't convinced by it. The ball joints on the tail and head of the dragon would have registered with me as well. Maybe, as a fixed piece of art displayed exactly as the box its okay, everything else didn't turn out as amazing as i expected anyway. Its a $270US set.
Thank you for your comment. I took a bit of a risk with this review, aiming to make it slightly different from the others. I wanted to not only showcase all the interesting features of this set but also tell its story. When I first built it, the set seemed okay to me, nothing particularly special. However, after delving into the backstory, everything clicked, and I was truly blown away by its significance.
@@lukasthebuilder Well, aside from the review merits, putting in the story would be a valuable qualitative archive of the set more than just the purchase decision parameters.. content to outlast the review. That was wholesome. I'm just not convinced of the set yet, or at least at full price :)
