If there was a video game called Lego Dungeons or something like that and it has you be able to make your own character as you can pick a class in and such other things I would personally would like to try it out and buy the game. 😁👍
Well guess they'll be reconsidering thier life and maybe they'll think twice before speaking out of term In case you didn't guess it's meant to be a spider man quip
This is awesome. I built the set today, and found out you can download the module pdf. Also watched Ginny Di's TH-cam video of her trip to Lego to do this session.

This will be the perfect excuse for collectors to break out the rest of their Lego figures. Think about it...a Ninjago minifig could be a Rogue, you've got the Knights Kingdom figures, you got the Elves and Dwarves from the LOTR sets and there are loads of dragons to be found from past Lego sets. That being said; in the future, here's hoping more D&D themed Lego things will be made
@@Gotham_Media A pity there aren't many Lego versions of griffins, minotaurs, centaurs, dragons and other creatures used in D&D from past sets. If there WERE, they'd fit perfectly here until Wizards and/or Hasbro decides to add more D&D themed creatures to the set
I don't know how this took so long to be a thing. Back way before all the livestreaming we used to play D&D with legos all the time. There are minifigs for virtually everything, there are sets with dragons, freaking pirate ships, they are basically already on a grid . . . it's just the best.
This makes me so happy. Years ago I made lego mini's for my group and the DM (also the shop owner) said (months into the campaign after we had been using them) that he disliked them because they "broke the immersion for him". Now we have content like this ❤️
It would be nice if they brought out some more D&D sets. As the characters are pre-made, they could continue the groups adventures. Going from level 5 to say level 8, at the most.
This was one of the best things I ever seen. Including some of my favorite players. Everyone was such a great element! Go Anjali, Ginny, Luis, Lucas , and Jordan! You were all awesome!
You know, I never thought of it, but lego sets designed to be used in D&D campaigns is not a bad idea. Especially if they're at a readily affordable price point.
Oh my gosh it is a delight to watch it. I know I should not be funny but I am giggling and laughing up until now because the DM is cool. I have seen ginny and I also have seen the DM playing herself and oh my gosh. 10 out of 10 love it so far.
Thank you for putting yourself out there and be vulnerable so others can also experience this great collab! I want to get it to play w my 5 kids from 15 to 5. It’s the perfect D & D game for all ages! I ❤your message :)
What’s the subclass of the characters? What school of magic does Althea practice? What cleric domain is Gaspar? And what type of fighter and rogue are Wayness and Robyn? I’d love to know! 😁
Althea must be an evocation wizard as she uses Sculpt Spell at one point. Robyn must be a thief rogue as he makes use of Second-Story Work and Fast Hands. I don't think the other two ever used any of their subclass features though.
My biggest critique of this is that the player character miniatures are all the same size! This is the first time I've seen a gnome the same size as an orc! What I am familiar with is that orcs are taller than humans while gnomes are shorter, at least that's what I'm experienced with & each has their consequences in-game. Obviously, an orc won't be able to squeeze into places where a gnome could & likewise a gnome won't be able to reach as high as an orc so why are the minis the same size? However, since D&D is a game of imagination, I suppose I could leave it at that.
Look again - the gnome is shorter than the rest, and is using the half-sized legs that Lego usually uses for child figures! But yes, it is a shame that they couldn't have found a way to make the orc a little bigger.
A little disappointed that the black oozes were basically hand-waived by the DM. She didn't give the player's the opportunity to deal with the oozes using their own creativity. The rest of it is pretty fun!
So my players made their way to the tower, and decided now that an Adult Red Dragon showed up it would be an excellent time to grab the egg… yeah, it's been a while since I've TPK'd a group.
This is more of a premiere than a stream. It's most likely easier for people like Anjali, Ginny & Luis to have it prerecorded, so they can sprinkle out promotion for it through the week or so leading up to the premiere. It seems like they also did a pretty hefty promotional photoshoot from one of Ginny's shorter instagram videos.
@@Exodus12341 The reason CR went to pre-recordings was initially for COVID concerns for the period during Mighty Nein where they had all to play from home. And I think even after that up until the end of the campaign (or close to it), each player was at their own table for distancing. The main reason I can think of for going pre-recorded >>> live-streaming is that it's quite frankly, just a whole lot less stressful for the cast and crew of the show. It likely allows for more time with family, better prep for Matt & the players, and generally being able to more easily control how the episodes start and end.
Would the fighter not start with an extra 1 Ac from their dex modifier? Also wouldn't the cleric not be able to use the devotees censor as its a flail. (martial weapon)
If the fighter was wearing heavy armor, the dexterity modifier doesn’t come to play. Clerics also get proficiency with certain martial weapons, and some subclasses actually get proficiency with Marshall weapons. Clerics also have medium armor proficiency by default and some subclasses will allow heavy armor proficiency as well.
It seems like this is the adventure outlined in the book, so do i encourage my son to watch this or do i try to run the adventure with him? Decisions! Decisions!. One easy decision: do i get the Lego set? Not unless i win the lottery. I feel bad for those myconids. Not only do they sound like Christmas elves despite having a collective age in at least the thousands due to their hive mind, but they're definitely going to die since they've been in the sun on the surface for an extended period of time. I also feel bad for that dragon who has the cry of a dying bird instead of an apex predator. Of course, I'd expect no less from that notorious ham. Also, she wasn't being a "gracious DM" when she allowed Guidance to be cast on himself; she was following the rules since that was always an option. What she _did_ allow was for "magic to shoot out of [his] hands" and cast Guidance from afar when it's a touch spell. You at least need to read the rules before running a game like this.

Lego Dungeons game sounds amazing! I love lego games so I think they would do so well with a dnd lego rpg game!
As long as it's D&D themed, and not whatever Minecraft Dungeons was going for.
Like a Lego baldurs gate?
I need a "Lego's Gate" asap 😊
They've got castle sets and a medieval square, Viking village etc. It'd be pretty easy to build your story based off of that.
"There are _no_ bad puns! There are just boring people!"
Oh my Gods, I love this woman so much right now! 😂

What alignment of planets allowed this much awesomeness in one room..
Anjali is so awesome! Only saw her in Dimension20 and Critical Role and her energy stood out so much. Welcome to the dm circle 😁💜💜💜💜💜
Totally agree, she did a fantastic job with the voices and personality and DMing
Have you checked out DesiQuest? She’s a player on that and Luis guest stars.
@ourabouras i loved that show.
Yeah, but she's always too enthusiastic about roleplaying to bother sticking to the established lore.

Anjali! Ginny D! And Luis Carazo! Ah, i'm so excited!!
Cinderhowl. Such an awesome name for a dragon
I think I might steal that one, lol❤️🔥
She sounds like she's got cinders in her lungs, so it's appropriate.
LOVE THIS - combining the two best hobbies in the world: LEGO and D&D ❤❤😊😊
So excited to see Ginny Di do her stuff. Anjali Bhimani was so good on The Dungeon Run, this is going to be gooooooood!!

Red Dragon’s Tale, pretty fun story module. Lots of magic items, wow

Hi!
at 2:57:50, Anjali tells about using the sound effects for our campaign.
Does someone know where to find them ?
Thanks
Hi! The sound effects can be found at lego.com/dnd if you are a LEGO Insider. There's no cost to join!
@@DNDWizards great thank you! additive question: is there any official way to get the soundracks downloaded ? :D
