Had no idea about the playability factor on this set, not something I would go and buy to be honest but I’m impressed they planned it in, shame about the wonky dragon though
The wings are good. Reminds me of how mega did them with the two GoT dragons. Just a very good way to do it. Would buy that dragon if it was a stand alone. That's a great looking one.
The original Wall-E ball joints flopped all over the place and LEGO did a recall I think. (I made it from parts I had and the PDF includes the better fix so the head poses.
I´m the one that bought it to play the adventure. XD But well... I´m a DM and Lego is my favorite memory of chilhood. So when I heard about this set, it was a matter of time and savings. And still, I think I was 5 months late when I bought it. Now I add the minifigures of the DND series, prepare character sheets for all the player ones, and I´m preparing one nice one-shot whith my party players in the next weeks.
I just subscribed today, just stumbled across your channel & I love it. Your reviews are perfect! Detailed enough & honest & exactly what I most need to see in a set! As far as D&D goes- I had zero interest in this set as I have zero interest in D&D (D&D fans, don’t come at me, I just don’t have much knowledge of it & im already sucked into Harry Potter despite when it first came out, my relentless laughing at my friends who read the books & saw the movies- took me some awful times in life & a chance encounter w audiobooks, plus at least a decade before I went down that rabbit hole- so, there’s that).. ANYWAY, I think if it was double points & I didn’t have a bunch of soon-to-retire sets on my list & I had a bunch of points already to lessen the damage on my wallet- I would def pick this set up. I never was really into the whole medieval stuff, until I started seeing these “old timey” in your words sets being released & I’ve been definitely hooked on them- I haven’t gotten too far into it but I definitely want to make a display of the Lion Knights Castle, Blacksmith, and the Medieval Village- and snowy white & possibly this as well- they all seem really cozy & fun to put on display- so, there’s my input- yes on the set, no on the game play- for now at least! Keep up these great videos! I’m really loving your content!
The only problem I have is it’s an expensive buy but then you can only get the playable thing you have to spend more for the book . Lego constantly forgets how expensive it is and we all don’t have the German factory shop to cut building prices. Would love to own but out of my reach and will soon enough become a set they will withdraw forcing the price up . Some days you just can’t win
I have to say Kev... I am enjoying this content! Im glad you've found Lego and im sure this will take off for you. Oddly I can sit and watch you build for hours :) Id love to see more of Anna's Lego she has excellent taste and will get more of the Adult Female viewers too. Im sure in a few more months of collecting you will find the right investment sets too, always nice to see a gem of a Lego set.
I am always excited when there's a "first" set of what could honestly be a great franchise with Lego. But 360 is a hefty price to pay for something that they dont know the popularity of, yet. I would have expected a few introductory sets before this big one. I might still go for it, if it will come down in price a bit. Going by the 10 cents a piece rule, i understand this is a good deal, I just have my doubts. Good review, shame about the dragon not being that pliable ❤
The dragon looks amazing in person! But as a non-DND player, the castle would need to much to fit in with my LEGO castle and the Easter eggs and story features don't interest me

This set is awesome as a Lego freak you need to have this in your collection.

Loving this channel Kev. There's a great Lego store in Bristol if you're ever down this way!

Great review - Dragon looks great

make a lego medieval village it wood look amazing
I don’t have any room! Might need to buy some more tables…
What are you making as a,manager of the mighty wembly fc? Surely can move house by now....or at least extend into the back garden
I watched to the end even though I am not a D&D or Lego fan, but I am a you fan!
The dragon looks amazing in person!
But as a non-DND player, the castle would need to much to fit in with my LEGO castle and the Easter eggs and story features don't interest me
Or the exclusive GWP with the D&D set made it more popular on release day than the Batman set that didn't have a purchase incentive.
I play table top games like D&D but I couldn’t see playing with this. I would buy this as a Lego model not as part of a campaign .
Lego is so very expensive, it’s not a hobby any more. My kids love it but we can’t afford it
There are still loads of sets at lower prices! The premium top end stuff is very expensive, but we’ve got some great sets that were under £20
@@blockpartyuk I think showcasing them would make a great video. Educational to those who maybe are looking for the lower end products
Ooh not loving the t-shirt Kev
It’s Sting!
