I loved this episode. The ending with Wendigoon explaining how death isn’t something to fear but a return to God really spoke to me. In the middle of listening to the whole episode my mother called and said after over a year of fighting cancer, she has a year to live. When the time comes, I’ll take wendigoons words and use them. I’m not one to get stricken with emotions around my family. I’m usually the one to be strong and guide my sisters in tough times. But hearing that news I had no idea how I could guide and help them after she passes. My mother, a strong Christian woman will be proud that I’ll have used a strong Christian message to comfort everyone else.
I love how saying the word suicide will get you demonetized when we’re supposed to be raising awareness rather than suppressing messages about mental health.
Wendigoon and Brandon Herrara are the perfect example of Yin and Yang. Identical opposites and it's hilarious. It gives me "DON'T TALK TO ME OR MY SON EVER AGAIN" vibes

I swear I wouldn’t be here if this podcast didn’t exist, it has brought such happiness to me in the darkest times in my life. I always know I can count on a weekly episode to cheer me up. Thank you Eli, Brandon, Nick, Cody, and every one I’d your amazing friends. Every one of your guys channels has helped me through a lot of things and I can’t express just how much I appreciate you all. Especially this time of the year. As I lost my grandfather, who was like a father to me, to lung cancer back in 2015. I was visiting him and my family at the time because he was on hospice and we didn’t know how long he was going to be around for. So my father, who had full custody at the time (now im 23 and an adult) let me and my brother go visit before he passed. Had to watch him pass, and in a rough way, that Christmas mourning. It broke me to the core for years after and the holidays just hasn’t been the same. Doesn’t help that my younger brother and his wife and kid are not visiting this year. Hes the only one that understands, and is spending time with his in-laws before he has to head back to base. Don’t see him very often since he’s in the navy, so it’s just been a tough time. Gosh, sorry, just all came out, my apologies. I hope you all and all my fellow viewers here have a merry Christmas and happy holidays. If any of you are going though as hard a time as me, don’t be afraid to leave a message and know someone is here with you.

This has to be my favorite episode of Unsubscribe that I've listen to and watched. It was SO fun hearing everyone just having a wonderful time talking with each other, laughing and getting off track in the middle of a topic, and being brought all together by Wendigoon's understanding of free will, followed by Rotund Wire Guy getting him with the oldest trick in the book. The best episode thus far.
I’ve heard about Wendigoon for a while and this podcast just sold me on going and becoming a fan. I love how he worked his way into sharing the gospel on this public platform that isn’t even remotely connected to faith. Continue your witness in the TH-cam space.
Yeah but one is barely hanging on, one fell off and the other’s horse ran off with him back to the stable. It’s not so much the end of days as the early afternoon of days
Poor Wendigoon thought he had finally negotiated his way through this episode and even ending on a moral high note…. Only to get the boop of a lifetime.
The impact that SAR series had on NoSleep can't be understated. I remember being subscribed to the subreddit in the following months, and every other story posted involved the forest, people going missing, cryptids, working for a park, etc. in some way for quite a while.
Grew up in the NC woods, the most horrifying thing i ever ever witnessed was this one time me and some boys were hiking one evening and saw a deer standing in a clearing. It was just dark enough to make out only the outline. We stopped to watch it and it just stopped grazing, hopped up into its hind legs, looked at us with glowing eyes then pranced into the tree line. Still haunts us to this day thinking about what the hell that thing was.
I get your point for sure. For me it has already replaced JRE as my favorite podcast. So long as Unsub keeps this trajectory and more people see the JRE as rolling on its downhill... Unsub has every bit'o potential to make it very far in the game. I remain totally optimistic!

Seeing the ovens in the back of the camp to walking through the stock houses that they housed the prisoners.

I could listen to Wendigoon talk about the Bible all day. Awesome stuff, and while I don't know whether anyone else at the table is a Christian, it really says something that he can hold the attention and interest so many non-Christians by the way he speaks, not as a preacher, but someone who's interested in this sort of thing. His obsession with cryptids translates into Bibliology, and I just find that fascinating.
Wendigoon's shpiel starting at 10:25 about people who live in the woods having a belief in the unexplained is spot on. I also live in Appalachia and there are places near me that I wouldn't go with a team of navy seals after dark. There are some things you just don't mess with, and some places you just don't go. And these hills have stories.
You're not wrong. Not only do the hills have eyes, they got razor sharp teeth and howls to be heard for miles. Tn foothills myself. Fuck that mess in them trees.
I already liked Wendigoon, but this made me like him even more. He's so chill and knowledgable and great at connecting dots that would've taken me ages to put together. Plus, just... the whole cast, I've not enjoyed 2 hours of sitting in my office chair this much since I bought GTA V back in 2015.
@MIKE_F44 as soon as Nick mentioned his mic and pointed to it I started laughing. I thought Isaiah was going to foil him by not looking down but noooooo, he just had to do it!

I had a VERY weird experience during the tail end of the pandemic that this episode brought back in a rush! I'm from San Antonio and I was invited to a friend's place in Houston. I didn't know something rather startling about the city, it has underground shops downtown. I hate visual horror. But during daylight hours I love watching his videos because he's so knowledgeable and passionate in all his work and it's so incredibly entertaining
This cast was killer. You all have the best energy. I usually listen to these in a different tab while I work but I just spent the last hour just sitting back watching and laughing my ass off. Phenomenal work to the guests the hosts and the staff. These shows mean so much to me lately. Big love
Thank you so much for the love!! Happy holidays 🥳
Man I keep forgetting you can donate through the comments but honestly there's better ways to support still these guy's are incredibly dumb and hilariously aurtistic and never fail to make us laugh so hard I've cried laughing every cast! 🤣 Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!
Cody a veteran and ex police officer “hey momma can i box somebody?” Love that😂
Wendigon Episode? This episode is gonna be a banger. This cast of 5 is practically perfect
Wow, just putting the "politician" on blast. Cool dude.
Only on unsub can we get this beautiful contrast of mud people to Sunday school😂
Wendigoon: [hold everyone enthralled explaining relationship between cryptids and Christian cosmology]
Cuddly Sparks: Imma boop!
Cuddly Sparks? You talking about that Chunky Electrode?
Cuddly sparks got me bro. That’s the funniest one.

This is genuinely the best episode of any podcast I’ve seen. B-tier and Wendigoon make such a great combo!
I waited....the WHOLE episode...the boop at the end. Literally laughed out loud by myself .
So did obese power ranger, and his wait paid off.
Me too!!!!
Just remember you boop the tiger, you get the horns.
I threw my arms up and yelled yes. Then proceeded to laugh until my ass fell completely off.
😂😂😂😂 he took over 2 hours 😂😂😂😂😂 obese power ranger 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love how saying the word suicide will get you demonetized when we’re supposed to be raising awareness rather than suppressing messages about mental health.
Aight you degenerates, dont y'all dare corrupt Wendigoon! Love y'all and merry Christmas from Piedmont, SC!

Wendigoon got the boop of a lifetime. LMAO. Y'all know he's never trusting any of you ever again.
Nick is a master of the boop, I have been studying his techniques and hope that I too can become a master one day
I could listen to Wendigoon talk all day, he was on such a roll at the end with the topic of religion he had me believing
Wendigoon and Brandon Herrara are the perfect example of Yin and Yang. Identical opposites and it's hilarious. It gives me "DON'T TALK TO ME OR MY SON EVER AGAIN" vibes
Solid on Wendigoon for memorizing and sticking to his script while answering questions and dealing with other Unsubscribisms all the while
I have watched this one single episode maybe ten times now, and i stand by my statement that this is THE BEST unsub podcast ever filmed! I wish we could have brandon and his Christian little brother once more.
Hey man I hear you these guys just have a way to bring happiness and laughs. Especially when we're all dealing with these tough times. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
I agree, it doesn't change anything but it's nice to know i can laugh with a bunch of people who share similar values. These kind of folk dont eist really where i am.
Can't believe the unsubscribe podcast had a 'take your kid to work day', glad Brandon's son was able to have a fun time!
I love how Brandon Herrera's Brother Bear joke just went over everybody's head😂 "I spy something Green"
55:18 the best way I’ve heard the nuances of Germany is ‘people forget that the first country hitler invaded was Germany.’
Oh fuck. I just realized hitlet was from Austria so does stalin from Georgia
I’ve heard about Wendigoon for a while and this podcast just sold me on going and becoming a fan. I love how he worked his way into sharing the gospel on this public platform that isn’t even remotely connected to faith. Continue your witness in the TH-cam space.
I wasn't expecting a Bible Study podcast but I am here for it with this crew lmao

It turns out Brandon's mom made him bring his little brother along to go hangout with Cody and Eli. Really good episode guys.
I love how horrified and awkward wendegoons laugh is, it's a mixture between like joy and horror nervous laughter.
The boop at the end was legendary in both setup and execution, well played Nic

Its crazy how these episodes keep getting better, I keep thinking we've reached the peak but I am pleasantly surprised
Literally, the best part of my Friday just happened. Love you Eli, those peptalk at the beginning of vids are very nice.
1:35:04 is probably the closest anyone has ever gotten wendigoon to swearing lmaooo
He swears a bit on the red thread. Kinda crazy to hear
Wendigoon has the most joyous laugh.
Poor Wendigoon thought he had finally negotiated his way through this episode and even ending on a moral high note…. Only to get the boop of a lifetime.
The shaking “you’re running for office” really got me
dude every episode has been getting better and even better without exception. love these guys
This should have been called "Wendigoon gets PTSD.".
The impact that SAR series had on NoSleep can't be understated. I remember being subscribed to the subreddit in the following months, and every other story posted involved the forest, people going missing, cryptids, working for a park, etc. in some way for quite a while.
"I don't want my dad to know I can fly" greatest inside joke ever lmao
This was by far the greatest episode so far! I really hope Wendigoon will come back with you guys again!
That’s what’s known as a Woodbooger.
People don't know it yet but this podcast along with this crew, will inevitably replace the Joe Rogan Experience. Great show guys! Thank you!
It's good, but that's called drawing a very long bow.
I agree❤
I get your point for sure. For me it has already replaced JRE as my favorite podcast. So long as Unsub keeps this trajectory and more people see the JRE as rolling on its downhill... Unsub has every bit'o potential to make it very far in the game. I remain totally optimistic!
I'd put it at top 3. SRS and JRE are good on their own right.
@@ASqdrnDASRS is good sometimes, but REALLY bad sometimes. It's clear some of his guests are full of shhyt and lying through their teeth..... Like the one guy who was a janitor at a facility in Antarctica but swore we had alien crafts and off earth technology buried under the ice, 99.5% of his episode sounded like total horse shhyt. But then he has on people like Tony Cowden or the ethical white hat hacker, and you can tell they're reliving their stories in realtime.
Wendigoon is the result of Doc Brown going back in time and tricking Brandon's mom into not liking Spanish food.
Wendigoons “pffft” when he realized the base fell off the mic stand followed by brandons face was pure gold
This was, hands down, the best podcast of all time.
Bro, I've never laughed more with a goddamn podcasts
Glad I saved this for today. Unable to visit my family and I've been pretty down about it. This made today a lot easier thank you.
I have visited Dachau when I was in high school back in the 90's. The sheer scale of that place is mind numbing even today when I think about it. As a vet I have been through some crazy stuff but visiting the "camp" more like death factory left a bigger impact. I cannot put into words to feeling I had just walking though it. Seeing the ovens in the back of the camp to walking through the stock houses that they housed the prisoners.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you. 2023 has been the year from hell for me, and all you have helped make it a little more barrable. A while back, I believe it was the one introducing the new guests, y'all talked about content creation, your love for it, and all that you've learned. That really inspired me, but Wendigoon's content and personality in particular caused me to really think about what I was doing with my life. He and I have a lot of similar interests, and even look similar (I'm like Wendigoon and Donut's illegitimated love child).
I'm a long time fanfiction writer and Redditor with a dying fandom, and I'm currently writing several books that I've been having difficulty with due to 2023 being the year from hell. A week and a half ago I got my hands on a microphone and have been playing with recording and editing software, and posted my first video earlier today. I just wanted to give a big thank you to Brandon, Donut, Wendigoon, Eli, and Fat Electrician (and Baddie and all of the guests from this past year) for making it possible. I don't know where TH-cam will take me, but at the very least it's been fun and is good experience talking in front of a mic. Thank you again, and much love and support to all of you. God bless, and Merry Christmas.
We appreciate you brother! Thank you and everyone else. You all are amazing people and we are lucky to have you around
@@unsubscribepodcast I'm the one who's lucky, friend, and thank you. You honestly don't know how much I've appreciated this podcast, or you stopping by to reply to my message, and how much positivity you all have brought to me this year. Also, a big thank you for having Wendigoon on the podcast, and I hope he returns in the future. I love the guy, and he's truly an inspiration as both someone I'd like to emulate in front of the camera or behind the mic, but in my personal life as well. God bless, and I wish you all and your families a Merry Christmas.
Whenever Goon comes on - Eli should do the “Truffle shuffle”

1:45:51 Love the switch to wendigoons empty chair
Never in any podcast have I heard someone seriously break down real Christianity knowing what they are talking about and making it easy to understand at the same time, big props wendigoon
Brandon and Wendigoon have such older brother little brother energy
This hands down has to be the best episode so far. So much energy, laughs and positivity! And the fiber moment. Beautiful
LMAO! I had to rewind and watch that ending again. How did you not see that coming, Isaiah???
FE boops the Wendigoon! Priceless!
I thought it wasn’t doing to happen. Then BOOM! And Nic makes everything bounce off the table. Lmfao

I had a VERY weird experience during the tail end of the pandemic that this episode brought back in a rush! I'm from San Antonio and I was invited to a friend's place in Houston. I didn't know something rather startling about the city, it has underground shops downtown. Like you walk towards a Chase Bank HQ, go in the building and turn right, there's a set of stairs leading down. And there's offices, restaurants, shops, the whole bit. Well it's like 2 pm on a random Friday and NOTHING is open, no people except us. Creepy as hell!

The vibe in this episode was S tier. By far one of my favorites ever. Love you guys
I relate to Wendigoon throughout this podcast so much. It feels like when I hang out with my non-Christian friends. I love 'em, and they love me, but man do they like pushing my buttons at times with the content of conversation or jokes they make. Wendigoon handled it amazingly. This whole episode was hilarious as a result, and I'm glad Wendigoon was able to get some hard hitting truths in at the end without needing to get preachy. Those were really good to hear.

So proud of Wendigoon dropping the Gospel when the opportunity presented itself. And so proud of the boys for letting him finish. I pray the Holy Spirit gives you ears to hear. Baruch HaShem. Love you guys, I’ve been listening to you all for a long time, just started hearing some of Wendigoon’s stuff recently.
Agreed. And he did an excellent job! I don’t see how anyone could watch that ending and not feel some type of conviction or some type of way in general. That was awesome and not only could you tell everyone there was feeling it but all of us watching felt that too! Wendi definitely is a mouthpiece for God. That’s for sure❤️❤️ ohh and if you’ve just started listening to Wendigoon, make sure you watch the Angels iceberg. It’s pretty awesome. Some of his Bible lessons are pretty cool too.
He’s a good example of what a Christian is like instead of what media and bad examples of christianity have showed people. Praying it makes people think.
This is awesome. All four hosts, their families and who knows who else, sitting there getting a live Wendigoon episode.
