The Left Right Game is so good to me personally because of two specific things... other than the great writing. 1. The ability to start the game is so easy and could be done by accident. Getting stuck at a dead end in the middle of the game would be terrifying. 2. The ending was so much bigger than I could have ever expected and made everything tie together
Seeing Hunter in the "Isaiah Room" feels so wrong, it's an uncomfortable reminder that he lives in a 3-dimensional house and not in front of a flat image of a room
“Good lord, what is happening in there?” “Creep cast” “Creep cast? At this time of day, at this time of year, in this part of the country, localized entirely within one room?” “Yes”
That shirt was insane and could be a great catch phrase for the show. “With you at the Witching Hour” and then y’all post new uploads around 3am, would go crazy
Dude this had me laughing the entire time lmao the banter is amazing. Ngl half of this video feels like Hunter is an older brother whose mom told him to hang out with his younger brother who has wayyyy too much energy for him
I'm sure they might not take suggestions, but I think they would genuinely enjoy looking into the "Ghost Tree" series by Brandon Faitcloth, followed by "I'm being hunted across realities." The writing from what I remember is pretty good and the depth of detail is amazing. If not that one, then maybe "Cabin Getaway" by Felix Blackwell. (Or the book based off of that story by the same person "Stolen Tongues.") That one (Cabin Getaway) has a really good cabin fever horror feel but the pacing is extremely quick. Best wishes, love the work!
11:25 EXACTLY! What make the thing in the basement so funny is that the opening portions are SO STRONG, and then it just slowly descends into dialog that sounds straight out of marvel or like late 90s/early 2000s action movies. It's super frustrating because the author was initially on to something great, but it's hilarious that it turned into what it did. To the point it almost feels like intentional parody.
I dont entirely agree with this statement. Sure, the middle point of the story can be cheesy, but it gets on track really strongly after the interview. Its a bit of a shame that they didn`t give another chance because I feel that it has a solid follow up.
I still think about "I'm the one they call when shit gets spooky... and shit is very fucking spooky," being an actual honest-to-God line the author wrote and not just Hunter riffing, LOL
I know this video doesn’t have as many views as the podcast episodes, but I absolutely love it. You two are just an amazing duo and I love seeming what others in our lil community create
You guys should totally do a two sentence horror stories episode, I feel like there’s gonna be a lot of funny ones and possibly a few that actually work. Glad you guys made this podcast, it’s one of my favorites!
This is why I like Creepcast. It can literally be about nothing and just listening to them goof around brightens my mood. Like how could you be in a bad mood listening to them laughing.
”Pagan beliefs” in what the term actually means just means not derived from the three main abrahamic religions or a polytheistic belief. It’s not a specific belief system. How the term is used by “practitioners” of “pagan beliefs” is make belief - usually just a vague mix of celtic and proto-germanic spiritual and religious beliefs, also often involving more specific norse or druidic beliefs but twisted and contrived. How the term is used in media usually just means occult or evil.
Yeah it’s doesn’t crash and burn with a sequel like Borr did and even the original 4 parts aren’t great if you think the reveal is too edgy and unrealistic.
Left right game was my absolute favourite. I often think to myself that magic couldn’t be real because someone would’ve figured it out by now, but LRG rules were so specific that it felt believable to me. It was so well done, and Meat Goon did such an awesome job covering it.
It's number one for me for sure, skeptical journalist start to Eldritch existential horror time fuckery end. I think it was the one that engrossed me the most.
"It's a perfect commuting podcast" says Hunter meanwhile I listened to Penpal and 1999 while I was commuting from my job back home in the middle of the woods at night. I must say, never walked faster.
One day somebody will ask where the Funeral Kyle meme came from. And we will all be tested to either leave them in blissful ignorance or direct then to the source.
Funeral Kyle is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Hearing Goon and Hunter go off for like 15 minutes singing : 'ah ha, you know what it is Black and yellow, black and yellow' Or Fetty Waps, Trap Queen. 'and I get high with my baby.' is so funny!!! But I think one of my favorite moments, which I think was in left and right game, but if anyone can let me know when Goon literally almost asks Hunter, "have you seen the Meatcanyon animation..." then quickly realizes who's he's talking to. Freaking hilarious!
There were some great memes and a few "mayonnaise is the sauce of the aristocrat" references, but nobody made a meme of "pool floats are truly the balloons of the water"? Ah well. Love the chaotic energy meeting irl brings.
27:44 was there live for this. The absolute legit Horror in PapaMeats voice was such a sign of a true and honest friend. And luckily the mic was muted for us, so it was just hilarious, yet heartwarming content.
"it's the perfect commuting podcast" I'm listening to creep cast on the bus pretty much everyday, and one time I accidentally connected my phone to the headphones of the girl sitting next to me and she just went straight into Hunter's reaction to the Jeep Wrangler. Well she hasn't sat down next to me since
So for the Mr Wellers versus Dr Wellers discourse - the supervisor at a blood draw facility for a blood bank would likely be a nurse or a person with a background in medical laboratory work, and not a doctor so Mr Wellers is technically correct (the best kind of correct)
18:43. The picture of Hunter looks like a picture they'd use for a documentary about a serial killer, and do a zoom in on his face and it turns black and white.
You two are the perfect pair and the only creeps I find reading the best and most iconic creepypastas, so it would be cool to see more growth/collab on Creep Cast. Thanks for all those episodes on Spotify guys, really helps get me through work.
I re-listened to Borrasca the other day, and I think the dad is even worse than you two already think. I feel it's pretty clear that the dad has joined the operation at the end. Remember that the sister was due really soon, and it was very shortly after then that the boss had the child that confirmed that the dad had joined? Also, he has a line like, "I love your sister, and I will never give her up." (Present tense)
Now that they're in the same room together, we can finally confirm that neither of them is a shapeshifter that just transforms into the other in different sets and stitches the footage together for these episodes.
Can I just say I am so in love with the Vintage 70s vibe that your wedding had? That's completely precious and I love the two of you even more having seen that. ❤
SO COOL! I made the green ranger meme, the "go to sleep" meme, the Pagan cult meme, and the Showers "missouri plates" meme! (TinyPinkTeacup) I'm a practicing Norwegian Pagan, I'm so glad you guys got the jokes 😆The only one that maybe wasn't clear on my part was the photo of the depressed looking boy poorly photoshopped onto the overly ripped child was supposed to be how Jeff really looked based on all the cringey dialogue and writing. Love you guys!! I'll keep making memes🥰
After Re-listening to Penpal, it really is the best one, best written with nuanced details that clue you in without explicitly saying it. I agree with top 3 being Penpal, Left Right game, and Borrasca
15:20 For people that don’t know, MeatGooner is a user flair which is just something silly or funny to put with your name, the topic of the post flair says “discussion”
I'd just like to say, FOR MYSELF, as a pagan, Wendigoon has never personally offended me about being pagan. Came off as being all in good fun, in my opinion.
As someone who was raised pagan and have been my whole life, I’m definitely not butthurt about it, and I understand where he’s coming from, sometimes it rubs me the wrong way. It’s fine for him to have his own religious beliefs that go against mine, but I respect that, and sometimes he comes off plain disrespectful. But it’s not like it keeps me up at night, it is what it is, he’s far more respectful than most Christians 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@@nadine1208 That's fair! For example, the cult in Midsommar is definitely pagan but I don't think anyone in good faith would confuse my religion (Norse heathenism, to be specific) with the one represented in the movie. But I have definitely met people, both Christian and otherwise who are not talking in good faith.
I love this type of content, it differs from the usual atmosphere and shows more of Wendigoon and Hunter hanging out, it’s so fun to see their dynamic outside of reading creepypastas
The left right game episode is my all time favorite but I also got to listen to the first episode while driving in the middle of the night across the country. It made for a memorable parallel
You guys should cover a super underrated series called 'i don't live in a rural area anymore, and I never will again' it's so well done and really captures that kinda rural spook that gets you thinking about it!
If anyone didn’t like the left right game ending I’d recommend checking out “The Backroads”. Dark Somnium recorded it about two years ago and I don’t know if it’s canon to the left right game, but it makes a reference to it near the end that completely changes the story of the left right game
Best story... Left/ Right Game. Favorite Episode... Jeff the Killer. I literally cried during both. The former, from sadness. The latter, from laughter.
This is creepcast but just the jokes and without the story, and it still works just as well, proof that it’s these gentlemen that keep the show going as well as the stories
iI really did not like the end of the left-right game, but the more I thought about it, the more I appreciated it. And it's the only ending that still comes up in my head at random times, just because it is so vague and leaves so much room for speculation.

Hunter saying "oh there it is" after Wendi points out his gun sitting there made me laugh way harder than it should have
That shirt was insane and could be a great catch phrase for the show.
“With you at the Witching Hour” and then y’all post new uploads around 3am, would go crazy
Might conflict a bit with Midnight Broadcast. I'm pretty sure there's audience crossover there.
Dude this had me laughing the entire time lmao the banter is amazing. Ngl half of this video feels like Hunter is an older brother whose mom told him to hang out with his younger brother who has wayyyy too much energy for him
reall
Right? I always thought so, too.
Papa meat in the kawaii chair is very fitting
Did anyone watched "THE Coffee Table" A 2022 Spanish Black Comedy Film Directed by Caye Casas.
damn, you stole the comment i wanted to make just now ^^
Nancy Boy Hunter confirmed???
Hunter bringing his mic with him KILLS me 💀💀💀
especially since it made the audio worse... had to crank it up compared to usual.
It kills u lol
@@kevinmunn666 Gawd stop laughing, their DEAD!
ok but that black and white photo of wendi screaming was terrifyingly awesome XD
Coming back to this comment after watching "My job is watching a woman" is hilarious
0:06 I don't know what it is…but it looks like he could control fire
Six seconds of masterbating lol

😂😂😂😂
It still baffles me to why the dude said that lmao. What was the reason behind that statement, We may never know...
Feels like Meat escaped Arkham Asylum and Wendi tries to make him normal
He gives penguin vibes
"Feels Like Meat" should be Hunter's podcast name.
Why did he escape the aslume? Is he stupid?
Aren't you a bot?
Joker and penguin in the same room fr fr
11:25 EXACTLY! What make the thing in the basement so funny is that the opening portions are SO STRONG, and then it just slowly descends into dialog that sounds straight out of marvel or like late 90s/early 2000s action movies.
It's super frustrating because the author was initially on to something great, but it's hilarious that it turned into what it did. To the point it almost feels like intentional parody.
I wonder if it gets very cheesy action film because of the main character loosing their mind and trying to make it fit, or if it’s real in-universe
@@lVlegabyte All I know is in my mind Marcus slowly warped from a regular cop into the bounty hunter from Friday the 13th part 9.
I dont entirely agree with this statement.
Sure, the middle point of the story can be cheesy, but it gets on track really strongly after the interview. Its a bit of a shame that they didn`t give another chance because I feel that it has a solid follow up.
Having read the whole thing, I’m fairly certain it’s meant to be intentionally outlandish. The weirdness makes much more sense in context.
I still think about "I'm the one they call when shit gets spooky... and shit is very fucking spooky," being an actual honest-to-God line the author wrote and not just Hunter riffing, LOL
Can we get more stories that are 2 hours or longer? I live for the longer episodes
Yes I love when there’s more build up
I know this video doesn’t have as many views as the podcast episodes, but I absolutely love it. You two are just an amazing duo and I love seeming what others in our lil community create
You guys should totally do a two sentence horror stories episode, I feel like there’s gonna be a lot of funny ones and possibly a few that actually work. Glad you guys made this podcast, it’s one of my favorites!
Yessss that'd be so good
hell yeah
@@szymi20x47 to the testicles

This is why I like Creepcast. It can literally be about nothing and just listening to them goof around brightens my mood. Like how could you be in a bad mood listening to them laughing.
Fr. I’m not even mad when they veer off-story because it’s funny as hell.
I love the idea that the wives are downstairs like "So are we gonna start having interstate playdates for the two of them?"
hunter gazing into my soul for the majority of this video has me sobbing
”Pagan beliefs” in what the term actually means just means not derived from the three main abrahamic religions or a polytheistic belief. It’s not a specific belief system. How the term is used by “practitioners” of “pagan beliefs” is make belief - usually just a vague mix of celtic and proto-germanic spiritual and religious beliefs, also often involving more specific norse or druidic beliefs but twisted and contrived. How the term is used in media usually just means occult or evil.
Glad Penpal is being recognized as the best, genuinely an amazingly tragic story written so well
Yeah it’s doesn’t crash and burn with a sequel like Borr did and even the original 4 parts aren’t great if you think the reveal is too edgy and unrealistic.
@@derpstick5467 Huh?
@@SirDankleberry just criticisms I’ve heard about Borr, especially with part 5, I don’t agree with them.

@@SirDankleberry Borr asca, one whole word, lol it’s the creepypasta that wendigoon and meat read and kinda finished before reading Penpal.
Left right game was my absolute favourite. I often think to myself that magic couldn’t be real because someone would’ve figured it out by now, but LRG rules were so specific that it felt believable to me. It was so well done, and Meat Goon did such an awesome job covering it.
Agreed!
Fr I'm so glad they were defending it in here, it made me feel validated lol
LR game was really inspiring to me! It sounded like a dumb premise at first but it was so well written!
It's number one for me for sure, skeptical journalist start to Eldritch existential horror time fuckery end. I think it was the one that engrossed me the most.
I know you are not a native English speaker, but you might want to revise your comment.
"It's a perfect commuting podcast" says Hunter meanwhile I listened to Penpal and 1999 while I was commuting from my job back home in the middle of the woods at night. I must say, never walked faster.
Meat constantly looking at the camera like a "The Office" episode really made this 10x better.
13:31 "its like your glowing", its as almost as if he could wield fire abilities...
Petition to have a Funeral Kyle "YO KIMBER THEY GOT ICED TEA" shirt
One day somebody will ask where the Funeral Kyle meme came from. And we will all be tested to either leave them in blissful ignorance or direct then to the source.
I like how it's a tea shirt
Funeral Kyle is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Hearing Goon and Hunter go off for like 15 minutes singing :
'ah ha, you know what it is Black and yellow, black and yellow'
Or Fetty Waps, Trap Queen.
I KNOW YOu SAID IT MAKES YOU ALL FAT AND BLOATED IF YOu HAVE IT TOO EARLY BUT CAN YOU HAVE IT NOW?!?
I get high with my baby yeahhhhh
There were some great memes and a few "mayonnaise is the sauce of the aristocrat" references, but nobody made a meme of "pool floats are truly the balloons of the water"? Ah well.
Love the chaotic energy meeting irl brings.
It's not funnier than the reference material but the fact that Isaiah takes so much delight in it makes up for it
27:44 was there live for this. The absolute legit Horror in PapaMeats voice was such a sign of a true and honest friend. And luckily the mic was muted for us, so it was just hilarious, yet heartwarming content.
I was real confused because i had to mute the stream for a bit, and when i turn it on hunter is yelling
Which Livestream was this?

"it's the perfect commuting podcast" I'm listening to creep cast on the bus pretty much everyday, and one time I accidentally connected my phone to the headphones of the girl sitting next to me and she just went straight into Hunter's reaction to the Jeep Wrangler. Well she hasn't sat down next to me since
I just love how offended Wendigoon looks when Father Meat was referred to as the "Unhinged One" instead of him
I love good ol FleshCrater
I don’t know why, but Hunter looks like he could like control fire or something
So for the Mr Wellers versus Dr Wellers discourse - the supervisor at a blood draw facility for a blood bank would likely be a nurse or a person with a background in medical laboratory work, and not a doctor so Mr Wellers is technically correct (the best kind of correct)
What episode is Wellers from, Creepcast is normally on while I play FO4 and I do hear most of the episode, I cannot remember Wellers

Yep there's a subtle nod at the end of the new baby with a 'W" initial meaning sheriff walker and his daughter had that baby. Jesus Christ...
Joined the operation at the end? I guess you haven’t heard the ending of Borrasca.
yea, but incest doesn't make good babies.
bro the Borrasca V shows that the whole reason the Walkers moved to Drisking was because Sheriff Walker was in on the operation
from the beginning
Now that they're in the same room together, we can finally confirm that neither of them is a shapeshifter that just transforms into the other in different sets and stitches the footage together for these episodes.
Maybe they can just do it very quickly
They are connected by a single neeve
An in person vid!? Im prepared for utter chaos!
Nope
I dig the thought of ya’ll doing these every few episodes. you play off each other in person SO well, good stuff 👍

It just keeps getting better. I hope y'all are able to do more content irl. And yes anything with this dynamic is worth having more of.
SO COOL! I made the green ranger meme, the "go to sleep" meme, the Pagan cult meme, and the Showers "missouri plates" meme! I'd just like to say, FOR MYSELF, as a pagan, Wendigoon has never personally offended me about being pagan. Came off as being all in good fun, in my opinion.
Pagan as well- I agree. The jokes don't come off as being purposefully offensive. 😊
I can't explain why, but in my mind paganism the religion and paganism in horror stories are two separate things.
@@cez_is_typingwhat do you worship as a pagan if you don’t mind my asking? Is it the old Nordic gods or more nature focused like the celts and picts?
@@nadine1208 That's fair! For example, the cult in Midsommar is definitely pagan but I don't think anyone in good faith would confuse my religion (Norse heathenism, to be specific) with the one represented in the movie. But I have definitely met people, both Christian and otherwise who are not talking in good faith.
The mic fix is gonna rock for the podcast going forward. Having the same audio set up sounds so much better
Wendigoon looking like John Faith with his strap, bear and crucifix. He's ready to hunt down Gary
As a phlebotomist, I just want to clarify we are not doctors. It's honestly just an entry level job.
These two make one heck of a podcast! Love you guys!
24:45 Oh my gosh this is my picture!! I squealed ya'll, thanks for saying it was cute Wendigoon!!! 😍
