    I tore both rotator cuffs in a fall in July 2020. My right was popping out of the socket. I refused to get surgery and just used Bob and Brad's videos & prayer. It took 2 years (mostly cause I lifted a things that were too heavy a couple of times) but I am completely healed! The last stretch of healing came Fall of 2022 when I started doing flags at my church. These exercises are perfect for building strength now!

    I retired and after 43 years of mostly desk work - I quickly started working on physically demanding projects around the house I had neglected. And before I knew it BAM - arm and shoulder pain. After a month of pain night and day I went to Doc and he spun my arm around in all positions and said I had a torn rotator cuff. One week of prednisone and now I'm on my own. It does feel better but can easily be irritated. By watching you guys just a few minutes and trying your techniques - I feel confident I can overcome and get back to normal. Thank you Bob and Brad you are both amazing!

As is to be expected, it was still quite sore afterwards, but I tried all 3 of these exercises and I gained more mobility in my arm and it definitely feels better. Planning to do these over the next few weeks. Thanks so much!

    Fantasy! I seem to have a problem with my scapula, can't quite identify what, and I often relax slumped in an easy chair, rounding my shoulders. I do have good posture when I'm up. I think these exercises will help slightly, but I need the back side too, not just rotation flexibility.

    Thank you so much! My shoulder feels a lot better already! And I finally found a good use for the long, thin, sturdy mailing tube that was used to ship the handle of garden hoe. I couldn't bring myself to throw it out, so now it's a handy piece of exercise equipment.

  • @jimmccarville5152
    @jimmccarville5152 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'll need to modify a bit of that due to one shoulder has two full thickness tears in the rotator cuff (supraspinatus and Infraspinatus) and now because of not having any strength in the right arm I've been over compensating with the left arm and only sleeping on the left side (to painful on the right side) I've started having issues with the other shoulder so using the bad arm to stretch out the impingement arm doesn't work. I do have a scheduled surgery but have put back because I need the other shoulder to be strong enough to help out the surgical shoulder. Maybe you all can cover something like that? Anyway I've been watching your TH-cam Channel for about 8 months now and have used a lot of you information to help out other areas. You all do a lot of good for a lot of people that watch your channel!

Pretty sure it's something to do with using my phone more than usual lately, while sitting at dumb angles! I can lift it with very minimal pain, so just going to keep exercising it and trying to keep out of the "pain cave"! (I'll also be checking in with my GP if it continues.) Thanks again!

      I have tried using the cane horizontally behind my back, both pushing away from my back and also attempting to raise my hands toward my waist. I can only do these cane exercises with my hands more or less at my sides as opposed to behind my back.

      @Maud Essen any stretch that involves your arm being stretched behind you. Start with your back to a doorframe or railing and grab ahold of it. Then, step away from it until you feel a stretch. Passive stretches like this will open up the front part of your capsule. Then you can add a sleeper stretch which can help in rotation. You'll have to Google that one hahah
