    Thank you, I have had problems for over 12 months and NHS in the uk physical therapist told me it was my mind because I suffer with depression. I failed quite a few of these tests thank you so much I cant thank you enough

    All tests were negative but my shoulder is so sore 🤔 feels like i was training really hard for lot of hours. When i try to do some shoulder trainings even with very light weight or bench press pain is very intense. What else it might be? P.s i was training in gym+swimming 1 hour for past 3 months 3 times per week

      @@sarpili9304 Gotta do the maintenance. And keep the posture during the maintenance and in your everyday life. No slouching! You can do these things even when you're not having pain. Warm up a bit first and then nice and easy, with good posture. Don't work through pain. Do these so that they feel comfortable, but also pushing enough to get the strengthening and stretch out of them. Pain means stop and fall back to something smaller and lighter. When you're pain-free, some professional massage for your neck, back and shoulders is also great maintenance and way of prevention.

    Shoulder injury has taken my life and identity. Lost 60 lb of muscle and no means to get diagnosed or corrected... and none of these seem to match it. No weakness points but all of them kind of hurt an equally small amount but can't do anything more than daily activities which are generally not an issue... until a bad time period kicks in. LOTS of loud popping but don't think it's dislocation

    I finally subscribed because I want to hear you EVERYDAY not just when I'm looking to Bob and Brad for relief of specific pain from my aging and "not-so-strong-like-bull" body. (shoulders, neck, hips - it's always something and your techniques are always easy and helpful).     My shoulder started hurting this week. I am positive for the behind the back test and putting my hand on the far shoulder. I also hurt when I check my watch and turn my forearm to my face to check the time. Sounds like an impingement. Just did the statue of liberty exercises and it felt good.

    Should pain can be really stressful specially if it has stayed for some time. Whoever reads this, I pray that he/she never have to face this problem and whoever is already having this problem gets a quick recovery.

    BOB and BRAD.. you guys are AWESOME... .. I had knee pain for 1 year( I work out everyday) when I did Squats, some days I had knee pain, some days not? I knew it wasn't a muscle or joint issues.. LONG/SHORT.. you guys showed me how to move my Knee Cap to loosen it up!.... now 100% NO DISCOMFORT! I am Running on the Treadmill again, and loving it! Then 2 weeks ago, stressed my elbow with a new Bicep Exercise.. .. So I searched for you guys again, and you showed me stretching for TENNIS ELBOW.. AGAIN, YOU BOTH ROCK!..... after a few days of the stretching techniques, 90% improvement.. I expect in another week, I will be 100%. .. you guys are the 2 MOST FAMOUS PHYSICAL THERAPISTS ON THE INTERNET.... CHEERS AND BLESSINGS TO YOU BOTH! THANKS!

    Thanks for the very informative video. I have watched several of your videos (I subscribe) and am still unclear on the following with regard to impingement:
    1. Can one combine the tension band exercises that you suggest for internal and external rotation with light dumbell work?
    2. Should the stretches be combined with icing?

      For me I'd say it was a torn rotator cuff. I watched top 7 remedies for a rotator cuff tear from el paso manual physical therapy and my shoulder has definitely been feeling better.

      Most likely rotator cuff Trigger Points. Find yourself a sports Acupuncturist who can release them for you

    I had a run with a pain in my heel. Started to run at a normal pace, faster pace in down hill . After the hill slope end , i run faster pace than normal and i started to feel pain in my right heel, after some time could not step on my right heel anymore, i ran on my tips . The next day , could not walk. i have broken some tissue inside , don't know what , i put cold over to help in faster recovery. the visible area is medial between the ankle and heel . Is a bit swell and purple because of my rush i guess to finish the run faster... now i know, i don't have to force my body and run more conscious.

    Sharp shoulder pain, from exercise, when moving through certain angles. Had made long pole to use, daily, with B&B's 'Perfect Posture' vid so used it with first stretch shown with Booyah Stik and amazingly effective. (Pressing hand on counter had only offered marginal relief.) After two sessions with pole stretches, improved use of shoulder/arm, little discomfort, greater range of motion. Thanks!

    I'm so thankful I found you! About 2 months ago my right shoulder began feeling painfully impinged. I can't remember doing anything to my shoulder to cause this much pain!     Bob and Brad, as always, I always refer to your videos first. My right shoulder popped out a few weeks ago and has been hurting since. About 10 years ago, I had an injury to the shoulder, and all the sports medicine surgeon could do was clean the shoulder out.
    The shoulder has been weak and hurting, and I failed the impingement tests. I will try the exercises you showed. Thank you!

    After using my mouse working from home and I’ve developed a super sore spot on my upper arm just below my shoulder. I am working thru the pain, but Do you think ice and rest and stretches can ease the pain?

    The massage from another one of your videos helped tremendously. If that works, I thought to try my tens unit. I will do that for a bit and then do all the exercises you recommend! Since I don’t know exactly what the issue(s) is without going to my PT because of having MS and covid, I will try your recommendations in the mean time. I had bursitis in my shoulder because of a tripping over the cat fall, at least I have an idea of what the issue could be. I cured it ( or helped it) with exercise.

    Hey guys so I wear a vest with heavy plates in it for work my shoulder issue starts with my right trap then my right deltoid starts having a cramp pinch like feeling which is annoying but once my vest comes off I feel much better but a little sore from those areas.

    My right shoulder (front of shoulder) experiences pain when I try to reach behind my back. It affects and hurts a lot when I'm trying to take off a jack or sweater. At 9:36s in the video would be where I would be in pain. Also same should would hurt if I tried a dead hang. What can I do to fix this pain?

      and I appreciate your response,@@BobandBrad -- I just passed through my doctor who said I have a good motion range, but a lot of pain - most likely a tendinitis but need exams for confirmation - the question is - I have been doing the vast majority of shoulder exercises that you teach, for the past 2 months, but I still have a lot of pain and not getting better... not sure what else to do to alleviate the pain.

    I can't get my bad arm past my side. Can't do the back scratcher. I have problems putting pants on, tightening my belt, any motions over the head or to the back like washing hair, washing back, and sorry if TMI, wiping after using the bathroom. Had an MRI which showed my rotator cuff is intact. Haven't been back to the doctor since MRI due to work/finances, so I don't know what he will say is wrong, but I just want my life back! Can't do many exercises because of pain. Had cervical fusion 4 months ago but 70% of my pain is on the side of my shoulder (arm sleeve area) and far back towards the top of my shoulder. Have been doing what neck exercises PT told me to do post surgery, but some I cannot because of my shoulder. Wish y'all did house calls!

    I’ve been struggling with an occipital nueroma for 5 years now. It has grown and caused pain in my neck/shoulder. Any insight on neuromas (non malignant tumors of nerves?) or occipital neuralgia?

    I have posterior should pain when externally rotating my shoulder...imagine the cocked position of a baseball pitch....Any ideas?

    I wrenched my right shoulder as I fell on my left arm, fracturing the left radial head. My right shoulder hurts more despite having more movement than the left. I have doused my shoulder in Olbas oil, night & day & taken naproxen 3 times a day but the pain is worse. Googled various sites that show examination to diagnose problem but none have described how I get the most pain. If my right arm is bent at the elbow & held close to my body if I move it outwards like a birds wing I get pain across the top of my arm. It’s also painful when laying down & also “catches” sometimes causing pain. I’m at my wits end. Any ideas?

    I had a shoulder reversal surgery on my right shoulder since I could not raise either arm. Now after 4 months I still cannot raise either arm. I have been in therapy since surgery, but I cannot raise my right arm higher than vertical. Laying flat I can raise it over my head. Doctor tells me it takes 9 to 12 months. I seem to be stuck at that level for the last month. Any suggestions? I am very discouraged by now.

    What about more stiffness? I threw out my shoulder throwing a dodgeball a few years back and at first, it hurt soooo bad, but Now i can get random pains on and off usually doing push ups, but it mainly feels stiff!

      My shoulder started hurting right around the time of doing off-handed dodgeball throwing. I was wondering if that did it.

    I pass these tests, but I can barely put my hand to my ear when my elbow is in front. No problem doing it with my elbow out to the side. I don't know what this is.

    ~Friend made me a stick with pvc & rubber ends...has helped my deltoid muscle that really hurts. Chicken exercise helps

    lets see..west nile, malaria, covid twice.. shot, knifed..horses, bulls..hit by trucks.. plane crashes.. broke 100s of bones.. mortar concussions.. im really not sure why my body is sore

    I’ve been in pt for weeks for a shoulder impingement. I’m still sore I’ve been sore for a year and a half. I’m negative for all tests. What do i do??!!!!

      Find a great Bowen therapist and laser therapy. Bio light pt 11 laser.

    I’m a 4.5 tennis player and been diagnosed with shoulder impingement after x-Ray and ultrasound. Have had physio and acupuncture treatment as well, but remain with shoulder pain. (Appreciated your sleeping position video too.). I seem to Be able to do range of motion movements- not without some discomfort. You hit the angle test on the nose for me, I can do fine u til parallel with ground then once though 90 degrees to straight up then it’s ok. At any rate I find that my shoulder and bicep are just extremely weak now. I can’t strike a tennis ball like I used to. Power just not there. Any tips where both shoulder and bicep are involved, weak and painful? Thanks for your videos and advice.

    the tests in this vid did not give me pain but l have in shoulder pain....so seems not a complete pain test in this vid , like it came strong when sitting down on sofa and putting hand down first and put weight on it. biking gives pain .
