- In Paramahansa Yogananda’s own words: “His every utterance was chiseled by wisdom. The essence of truth, all-pervasive with even a physiological aspect, came from him like a fragrant exudation of the soul. His feet were firm on the earth, his head in the haven of heaven."
"Sri Yukteswar fitted the Vedic definition of a man of God: 'Softer than the flower, where kindness is concerned; stronger than thunder, where principles are at stake.’"
Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri was an Indian monk and yogi, and the guru of Paramahansa Yogananda and Satyananda Giri. Back in 1884, Sri Yukteswar became a disciple of Yogiraj Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahasaya, reaching the spiritual stature of a Jnanavatar, or wisdom incarnation. He became an expert in Kriya yoga and a knowledgeable student of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita.
As a guru, he established his presence in two ashrams - one in Serampore and another in Puri, Odisha. he lived alternately throughout the year in two ashram and dedicated himself to instructing his pupils.
Beyond his role as a guru, Sri Yukteswar was also an author, penning "The Holy Science" as per Mahavatar Babaji's desire. Babaji envisioned a book that highlighted the fundamental harmony and unity between Hindu and Christian scriptures, Sri Yukteswar willingly took on the task.
As his journey neared its end, Sri Yukteswar chose Paramhansa Yogananda as his sole successor for all his ashram holdings. It was a passing of the torch, marking the continuity of spiritual wisdom from one great soul to another.
Journey from Priya Nath to Sri Yukteswar
On May 10, 1855, Sri Yukteswar was born Priya Nath Karar in Serampore, India, to a wealthy trader Kshetranath and Kadambini Kara. From an early age, he took care of his farm holdings following the premature death of his father. Despite being a gifted student, he felt that his formal education was superficial and sluggish. While he was a student at Srirampur Christian Missionary College, he became interested in the Bible.

I have felt a surge of positive energy pouring into my body from atop my skull. It runs down my spine and through my limbs. The energy pulsates and makes me stand, walk, and sit (even in full lotus which is difficult because of chronic pain) in perfect posture! It snaps me into place with no pain at all. I’m not afraid when this happens but I've realized I don't flow into instead I have resistance. Which has left an intense vibration in my right arm at the bicep. It seems stuck there as it doesn't go past my shoulder. It happens often when I am happy, or reading or watching something that feels like truth to me. Has anyone experienced energy that does this? Thank you.

He was likely a Perfect Master of His time, one of the 56.
It is not likely He went into any of the 7 sheaths of the Astral, nor the Subtle Sphere nor really the Mental Sphere, why would He bother? ... but transcended the entire illusion once He dropped His body.
Of course he had already transcended the illusion while in the physical if He was Perfect One, a Perfect Master.

About a year ago while meditating an image of a persons face appeared, and I was curious who he was because I never remembered seeing him before. Then a few days later I was looking on the internet and saw a picture of Avatar Meher Baba and it was the exact face. He has a very unique appearance so there was no mistaking it. I started to study about his life afterwards. I feel really blessed by that event. 🙏

Babaji should have known that certain practices were already preserved in the very secret mystery schools of the West. Kundalini yoga is allegorised all through the bible. Mesopotamia and onwards all has mystery practices, the Druids were also akin to kundalini sanyasins.
The ancient Greeks already had their mysteries and tried to catalogue the traditions around the world, which they travelled.

Be careful practicing such energy manipulation and be mindful that not every teacher will have the best of intentions nor be skilled in these arts. You should not practice without a direct teacher- live, in person- and one with a well-established lineage. There are charlatans everywhere. Better and easier practice is to be grounded in the NOWness of it all. No need to seek mystical experiences. The ISness of being has it all already. I find the reference of 'in the west' quite confusing. Why would a spiritual being who is supposed to be living across dimensions care about east or west... would a shaman in the west (like in S.America) be guided by say plant medicine to spread it 'to the east'? It's a bit of a glitch in the system bruv.
Your question basically says why would an enlightened being care about non enlightened beings?
The answer is simple, compassion and divine love.
He understood that the way forward was the spiritual knowledge of the east coupled with the rationale/critical thinking of the west.
Osho had a similar opinion, although his methods were bizarre.

If one is still ascended to Astral plane and exists there, how can we call him fully enlightened or mukt or fully liberated?
He was a Jeevanmukt, which means liberated while living.
He can choose to go to whichever plane he wishes.
One that is enlightened is an embodiment of all the inner dimensions including the astral plane .. the receptivity and accessibility depends on the level of evolution of the disciple ..it just one consciousness, the mind gives it forms …

But the impassive experiencer (athma) is the same in all states of consciousness (wake, dream, deep sleep and samadhi). Only experience changes from individual to cosmic in samadhi. It is like removing a bandaid (limited human experience) from a finger (athma).
It also means, you (athma) are already that (Shiva) in all states of consciousness not just in samadhi. So, take it easy. The wake/sleep duality cycle is also mediated by the conscious field of Shiva (athma). Young/old duality which we call aging is also mediated by the consciosu field of shiva (athma). The experiencer has completely dissolved, and there is no body there to experience. The experience happens only when there is an experiencer. Unless some has has retained some form of personal "I", there is no individual person existing. If there is some one existing still and teaching, as is the case mentioned in the video , then seems like the complete dissolution has not happened. May be the master didnt want to dissolve completely. He still wanted to keep his personal self intact to carry on his work.

Rigved, Saamved, Yachurved and Arthaved do not teach this, not even these vedas mention about the need of Kundalini awakening.
Most of the Vedas are chants. When one uses chants (same words over and over) it helps one sharpen his focus to obtain a state of enlightenment or at least closer to it

I suspect you have not discovered the Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda whereby he demonstrates that no Religion is supreme. Only the authentic and sincerest of yearnings to know God is. The lineage crossed over and that Krishna and Christ consciousness are one and the same, located at the third eye on the body.
