Hey Chris you are almost at the 100k milestone. Keep it up brother.
That flush mount usb is awesome and so simple !
great video one of the best I seen
Nice!
I just got my 05 Sienna about a year ago and i want to do this to it! I am near Camden, NJ and i hope I can find a good installer! Thank you for this info!
Do it yourself. More rewarding and cheaper
Do you have any help with running power and rca through this generation of sienna. Do that panels just pop off easy?
Great video and valuable info, did you have a link to how to install an aftermarket head unit onto a 2006 Sienna with the JBL factory sound system?
I'm curious about this as well because I'm about to install one and I have JBL system. I had to buy a special wire harness. Hoping for the best.
PB what’s your response if these kits are compatible if there’s a rear entertainment system?
i have the toyota with jbl can i just install the head unit without the crux?
Will this work with a rear dvd entertainment system?
Great video! I do see that there is now an Alpine iLX-W670 that replaces the W650. Will install otherwise be the same?
Yep identical.
Are you in Utah
I have a rear entertainment system. Will this work with that?
I would also like to know, I had a grand caravan back in the day that made radios a pain due to the entertainment system
I have a 7" Din Stereo display. Does it fit into the Metra 95-8208 kit?
Any standard double din chassis radio (regardless of screen size) works. So if that 7" has a standard sized double din chassis, then yes it will.
In terms of audio quality, is this Alpine better than OEM radio?
Did Grizzly Adams have a beard?
Jokes aside, 100% upgrade over factory. 20 years car audio tech has come a long way.
@@ProvoBeastAudioam I going to need all the specifics on an Android radio install? I bought the JBL harness for it. Getting ready to pull it all out and swap it . But I'm uncertain about the steering wheel controls rear camera in various unforeseen things. If there is any?. If you can mention anything to look out for I would appreciate it. .
Will this require a bigger alternator output ? Will it drain the battery more ??
Radio install?, no, not at all.
Someone is asking me to do this to their car, they bought the screen, but how much should I charge for labor? I live in California
Depends on your install technique, expertise, etc.
@@ProvoBeastAudio I’ve done 2 other radios and I do mechanic work but you can say I’m just starting out
No CD what good is it. If I'm going to spend all that time and money I want my CD player along with the USB socket. Also I use all my twelve volt jacks so there has to be another port I could mount it in. I never charge with a stock USB port it's too slow. On my Santa Fe sport I have both USB and a CD player. On my sienna mine had a CD player that also played MP3 disks. I would definitely want that feature as well. 73
you are in the dwindling demographic who still needs a CD drive. 90% of those changing out the radio no longer need it, and this customer was one of those (they were retired age too). There are units with a CD drive, but becoming more and more obsolete.
how much for you to do this for me sir?
I’ll do it for you for cost of parts and 100 bucks for labor
The crux swrty-61J doesnt have purple, purple black, green, or green/black cords??
Alpina radio has them for rear F/R but not the crux harness? Help.
