can’t seem to find the exact one i used in the video but a mount like this one should give you plenty of options for mounting mics, go pros, cameras, etc amzn.to/3WSOGJy
if i’m rolling make sure to breathe lightly through my nose. i’m a runner so this is natural haha. might take some practice but if you’re a loud breather, it’ll probably pick it up.
I use a tiny deadcat! I have a tutorial on my channel (albeit it’s a little dated at this point) but if you set your audio right, you shouldn’t have too much wind noise in there 👍🏼
definitely going to be a bit grainy as gopros aren’t too great in the dark. would recommend tossing a small light in the cabin of the car to brighten things up (just not too much to make it distracting when driving) 👍🏼
i’ll be honest, this hadn’t once crossed my mind but it’s a totally valid callout. Probably should have included a disclaimer in the video about this possibility. i’ve opted against some head restraint gopro mounts in the past as i didn’t want a pointy piece of plastic or metal pointed at the side of my neck in the event of a crash. Not to most fun thoughts but good to keep them in the back of your mind and play it safe!
Link for the mount dosent work :(
looks like it was removed from Amazon
Try this instead: a.co/d/h9XfF3C
The exhaust sound is on point.
appreciate that!
What are you using to mount the camera to windshield? Thanks
sony zv-1 👍🏼
@@apexpixel lol I know the camera what’s the suctioning cup mount your using
ah just a cheap camera suction cup mount. id suggest buying the gopro suction mount as they work far better for smaller cameras
Needed this thank you! Great quality content as always!
You bet! Hope you found it useful!
Do you recommend any other way of getting the same sort of angle but without the mouth mount, only because i wanna talk whislt driving POV?
head and hat mounts work pretty good too 👍🏼
Shoot in 4k to post 1080p video, awesome work!
downsampled this video to fit the rest of the footage filmed but otherwise, it doesn’t hurt to have more resolution to play with 💪🏼
Do you have the link for mount on the bumper for the exhaust audio? Very much appreciated 🫶🏾

Thanks for the video! What type of view do you use? Hyperview, superview...
Typically linear or wide depending on the application though I prefer an undistorted look 👍🏼
Thanks for the video! on the raw audio setting would putting that to high take higher quality audio of the car ?
It should! It’ll allow you to capture a wide range of sounds which gives you more room to play around in post
Amazing dude! I been looking for something like this, I’m go try this out now 😂😁🔥
Love it! Definitely interested to hear how it goes! Feel free to chime in with any questions and tag me if you post it on TH-cam or instagram!
Doesn’t the built-in microphone pick up the mouth breathing?

How come you dont have windnoise issue with you vid using the extrnal mic

@@apexpixelwhat were you using as a mic? sounds good but i checked out your old video and it looks dated compared to your current set up
it’s the same zoom h1n 👍🏼
Bro called out my dirty windshield 1 minute in 😢
Cant find this mount anywhere for some reason. Can only find the one that brings the gopro to chin level. Your link doesnt work anymore either
looks like the one i bought is no longer listed. updated link to same mount on Amazon in the description 👍🏼
@@apexpixel do you know if that one can have the same nose placement as yours? The pictures show otherwise
Also any settings advice for nighttime? My footage seems to be a bit too dark
looks the same on my end

It's so dorky. I need to try it
definitely worth a go!
Bro with a mouthguard we can hear me breathing on the GoPro 💀
Why dont people just use a dashcam for these?
my take is the quality won’t be the same but to be fair, i haven’t tried any dash cams... also sort of prefer the POV angle
Dash cam doesn't give you a view of the dashboard or wheel
Mate, I admire the commitment, but you're fucked if you have an accident, imagine the airbag (or steering wheel) smashing that down your throat.

This is a joke right?
