Hey great video, do you think the sigma 18-50 (27-75 on FF) is good ? or should I go for a prime in that same budget ? I'd mainly shoot at car meets and stuff like that
Can you please list the actual products from IFootage that you used for the POV scene. I believe this is the same setup for when you recorded the front wheel by attaching to the door, right?

Any other great ideas? One bit take away for me was that I likely won’t use any image stabilization moving forward. I didn’t love how it would track left and right.
@@TheCarCreative yeah I always find it looks a bit weird with stabilisation. I do more off road stuff but I like the on bonnet shot looking through glass at driver, but like in movies. I also mount mine to the top of the snorkel. A good one is underneath showing suspension components

@@TheCarCreative I have a clamp mount, it’s not an expensive one so wouldn’t use on the road but it’s okay to get slow articulation shots. Or I use the 3m sticky mounts from go pro

I like it. I see it has the extension arms so that way if I wanted to, I can raise the position of the camera to make it seem that I am capturing the view from up high in the air.

Look at the "3 Footed Monster" it's a magnetic mount. Strong/stable enough even with a dirt autocross event.

would you trust the regular GoPro mount that comes in the set to mount the camera on top of your panoramic roof (externally)? what's the chance it might fall?
From what I’ve experience, no. Check out some of the cheaper options linked in the description. Fat gecko makes great options that aren’t crazy expensive but absolutely trustworthy for go pro.
So happy to found someone doing something like this with GoPro and a Car. MY QUESTION IS, i have a GoPro 9 Black and i make i lot car videos from insidea car, bit every time i make video i have some movements from left to right and opposite. In your video you don’t have this problem. Is it bevauypu have GoPro 10 or because you know how to set the came settings to make videos without moving it lenses and film straight as i said with no movements. Thank you 🙏

Hey! Turn off the image stabilization. That is what is making it move. I find it still looks great without image stabilization. Test it out!

@@TheCarCreative the problem is when i turn it OFF i have those vibrations which was not the problem with stabilizer ON with the GoPro 8 Black. I guess it’s just what i false did when i sold GoPro 8 Black for 9 Black. 🥺 thank you
is the camera moving a result of stabilization? because it ruins the shot to me,it moves while mounted like it’s handheld or something.

It's unfortunate, but it seems they've stopped making that kit. It's been out of stock since the video released, and isn't even listed unless you go to the page specifically. Any other suggestions? I love the look, and the modular design. I haven't been able to find anything else like it.

I mean use your best judgement but it would hold better then any other mount I’ve ever used. Best in the industry that I’ve seen.
It's a nice rig. I might eventually get one but a grand is a bit pricey for just starting out. I'm doing my very first shoot this weekend with a ferrari. I can only afford the simplest of tools. I'll do my best and build my portfolio get more work and hopefully be able to reinvest and get better gear like this.
Check out the other options linked in the description! Fat gecko is a great option and more affordable.
Use fishing line as a second fail safe. If the camera falls off the mount then the fishing line will still hold on to your camera if you anchor it to something.

Ya I’ve heard. I reached out to them too about no stock. You could look into the Delkin Fat Gecko brand as well. Link in description. Another great and trustworthy brand.

Why is the camera moving while steering? How can i turn this off? I make road trip videos with a deep house music in background and it looks awful when camera moves. I want steady filming.
This is with active image stabilization on, turn it off and it will not move. You’ll notice some shots later on have it turned off and I agree looks much better. You can always restabilize the footage in post with other applications if needed.
@@TheCarCreative thanks a lot. Is the GoPro7 or 8 capable doing that? If you dont mind, have a look at “CLS 500 ROADTRIP 60fps” from AUTOMANN. Look at this video and thats what i am talking about. A video like that is the perfect video for me. Look how stable
Fyi, the ifootage kit has been out of stock for awhile. Amazon sells individual pieces but $99 for a single suction cup and no way to attach a gopro seems insane. Oh well.

Haha! When you have stabilization on it definitely moves! I actually didn’t like it. I’d say if you have a car with decent suspension it’s better to turn the stabilization off and then stabilize in post.
Interesting video, would love to see a video with the camera placed on the trunk lid facing forward for a cruising video. It would be just the video I've been looking for to place on my playlist.

You may need to put the GoPro on the front of the hoot facing forward? Possibly choose the linear field of view instead of wide.

That’s a $900 mounting system. Most of us aren’t getting our stuff free because we are TH-camr’s. Anybody have any good affordable suggestions

I have a question. I have my windows tinted including the windshield. I’m afraid to Mount anything on the windshield for fear I may damage the tint. But I see you have tints and you mounted the GoPro to your windows.

I’ve reached out to them directly about this and unfortunately they have been out of stock of potentially stopped producing this which is unfortunate because it’s the best product I’ve ever used. If nothing else, check out their crab arm systems as they are incredibly handy.
