Hi! I'm not a parent or anything (came across this video after watching your sock review which was really helpful), but I REALLY appreciate the way of thinking that you're promoting here. I'm far from "crunchy" myself (for instance, reducing my consumption of synthetic dyes is far from my most pressing health goal), though people like you seem to preach the merits of the lifestyle without relying on pseudoscience and fearmongering as a basis. It seems like a small thing, but your reminders to the audience that treatment plans should be a reasoned, evidenced conversation with the medical team rather than a one-sided "it's my kid and I know what's best for them!" is SO important and something I see neglected/rejected so often in content promoting a more "natural" lifestyle. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comment!! I really appreciate it. You're right, being "natural" can so easily turn into just doing the opposite of whatever your doctor or person in authority says without really thinking about it...making decisions for your family's health is way more nuanced than that! "Natural" or not, we all need to be more critical thinkers when it comes to the medical decisions we make.

Idk why I’m watching this I don’t even have kids lol but just wanted to comment I’ve never seen but 1 person in a ER waiting area. We’ve had to go ALOT due to spouse but never been to a hospital where there was a wait. Makes me anxious thinking about ppl having to wait that long

I know me too. After my first hospital birth, I had my 2nd and 3rd at home so that I didnt have to deal with it again.
