Remote play on Xbox is miles better, I can use my controller and screen record on it, while on ps5 I can’t use my controller, without that connection, Xbox is automatic
Hardwiring is the way to go when using remote play. I noticed a huge difference when I switched from Wi-Fi. Hoping they add 4k streaming like Nvidia Ge force in the future
I love the ps remote but damn the latency makes it impossible to play shooters. My sim is so off all the time. Not sure if it’s because I’m use to playing on a monitor with 1 ms of latency or what but I can only play stuff like crash bandicoot or fall guys. Every time I try to play a shooter I never do well and can’t hit my shots at all. Really wish this worked flawlessly like I was just playing on my monitor but it sadly isn’t. It is much better than it use to be tho so hopefully it continues to get better
I agree, there’s definitely lots of room for improvement. The quality is too sporadic to recommend it definitively. I like the direction they are heading in though
I'm honestly shocked my dualshock 4 works with xbox remote play Sony would never with an xbox controller 😒 Plus the streaming is actually smooth hard wired
can you have a local multiplayer session with any of the services? Like playing Forza with a friend with 2 controllers connected to the phone/tablet/PC
You kind of can do this on Xbox, but the caveat being that one player has to be on the phone/tablet/pc and the other directly connected to the Xbox itself over bluetooth or wired in. I use this to play with my kid sometimes so i can stream to my ROG Ally in another room and my kid on the TV.
I don’t think it’s the model so much as the internet speed and connection. My series x was on Wi-Fi when I tested it out and it wasn’t a smooth experience. I’ve seen a lot of people say they have smooth experiences using a wired connection. Now if the game struggles to run on the Xbox one playing it normally on the console then maybe that could affect remote play and run better on a series x. I would focus on internet speed and connection first if you haven’t already.
Why does my Xbox series s remote play is better than my PS5? Both are connected to same wifi 5g same distance same everything same phone... Series s was playing Halo infinite online and was crazy good! No lag on video or input... PS5 was image shutters, icon saying was loosing connection, lag input etc, why???
That’s weird. Seems like you had the opposite experience I had. I’m using an Xbox series X and a PS5 with a disc drive. I noticed little things like having an iPad or other Bluetooth devices nearby sometimes interrupted the quality. But overall PS5 was stable for me. These things are finicky for sure
@@blackcloakdigital do you think nat type has something to do? Maybe not because it's the same wifi, or maybe mobile data on causing interference? I have 30 MB
That’s definitely fast enough🤔 Have you tried tinkering with the video resolution? Here’s an article on troubleshooting: stealthygaming.com/fix-playstation-remote-play-not-working/
At the current state they are in, I’m gonna have to say PlayStation remote play worked better for me. Seemed a bit smoother in gameplay. Have you tried both?
holy cow next level quality I thought you had a million subscribers.
Crazy good quality, keep it up!
Thanks so much! Glad to get some feedback 👍🏻
Good production and recording when i saw this vid i thought your channel had 500k subs. Keep going with the good work :)
Maybe one day I’ll have that many haha. Thanks so much, I appreciate the feedback 👍🏻

That would be awesome! Yeah I wholeheartedly agree, hardwired is the way to go. Just gotta get creative on hiding the wires so they don’t show ha
Great video, subscribed!

My Xbox one s with remote play works very good with remote play but my ps5 is at like 20fps 720p so I think it’s quite obvious which is better.
How much fps do you get on your xbox
Interesting, I wonder if it was my Series X somehow not optimized for remote play yet. I didn’t try it with my One S/X

No, unfortunately. It’s my understanding that only one player per account using remote play. That would be cool though

I have the original Xbox one and it doesn’t run very smooth. Do you feel the the Xbox series x would run better on remote play?

What is your home internet speed? Also, does your PS5 lag when you play online directly on the console?
@@blackcloakdigital 30 MB also nothing lags, just remote play lol

Can you have 2 two devices set up on remote play?
And if not how do you remove one
Do you mean stream on two devices simultaneously?
Great video very informative and clear, just a shame you have to use a controller with xbox 👍
Thanks so much! Yes, I agree, would be cool to have that option. Maybe in a future update?🤷🏻♂️
which one is better in your opinion ? xbox or playstation ?

@@blackcloakdigital I don’t own a ps but Xbox remote play doesn’t work very well on my iOS devices but it does work better on Android and Steam deck…
@@charles3029 Yeah that sounds about right. I have yet to try the steam deck, my interest is piqued though.
Does it consume more electricity? It might cost more on your bill.
😂😂 relax. A Xbox Series X Running on max capacity for a year straight will cost you 15$ in electricity bill
I don’t think it consumes any more than if you were actually gaming on the console. Very minimal at best
How to i edit xbox remote play resolution. Im dumb
It's you, PlayStation. Not me, Men.
The display resolution when remote playing on xbox via iphone is fucking terrible. Can barely see shit when gaming.
The resolution didn’t bother me as much as the lag did
@@blackcloakdigitalhow do you get better resolution tho
