I currently use a 1080p 60hz monitor with my SX, and have been thinking of either getting a 4k 120hz monitor or 1440hz 1440p and have been tied between them. Is there a better choice?
Get the 4k 120hz, the difference between 120hz and 144hz is noticeable but not as much conapered to 1440p and 4k. Also the series S and X don't support above 120hz yet.
If you plan on eventually getting a PC, I'd pick up the 1440p, which is the sweet spot for performance vs visuals. But if you don't plan on PC gaming, I'd recommend getting the 4k. While a handful of XS games have a native 1440p render resolution, most offer the option of render resolutions at either 1080p OR 4k, so the games that render at 1080p will look better on a 4k over a 1440p, as the image stretches perfectly proportional (4x) to fit a 4k display resolution. For instance, my Switch, when outputting at 1080p, looks great on my 1080p monitor and fine on my 4k TV, but looks a little washed out on my 1440p monitor.
Hello there! I'm planning to buy a brand new Xbox Series S this coming new year. Had an old 360 console years ago. So can i re-download my old games even without Xbox Live or XBox Game Pass?
Unless Seagate released a 3TB card i don't know about you only get 920GB off the 1TB card for series x/s. Plus the consoles internal storage would only bring up between 1.2-1.5TB. I'd like to know where she's pullin this 2TB bs from
Because I am interesting in buying a Xbox series s/x can i log in with my PC account and still have my games or do I need to buy them again for the console also for how much does the game pass games stay for ?
There is still another prob which is not solved from MS until today: HDR. It can not be that HDR is ONLY use in 4K mode. On the PS5 you can now use HDR with 1080p, 1440p and 2160p on HDMI 2.0. That should be the same with the Series X. It doesn't make sense to use it on 4K only.
I think it’s up to the devs to optimize games further for the series s, most are lazy and just make it 1080p60 when the games can easily run at 1440p60.
@@TWzonenoflexxOD I know you can change your profile picture, but the background on your Xbox account behind your picture I didn't think you could change
Can someone explain to me in simple terms: I have an Xbox Series S and playing on a 4K tv, now I know there are very few games that Series S can run at 4K as it targets 1440p, but on my resolution settings I only have 4K UHD, 1080p and 720p. Is having 4K UHD the same as running it at 1440p or what’s the story there? Hope that makes sense to anyone who can answer
I'm in the exact same boat as you, with the S and 4k TV. Now I'm no expert, but what I believe is happening is its doing 1080-1440p depending on the game, and upscaling it to 4k. But I'm no tech guy so I'm not sure. Some games like 360 and og Xbox games are locked at 1080p tho
I have a Sony XE9005 4K TV but i can not use "Auto low-latency mode" and "variable refresh rate. The TV doesn't have G-Sync or Freesync. Also I don't have Dolby Vision and HDMI 2.1. So, how to play in 120 Hz???
Love the series x. But I messed with the hdr calibration and makes all my games washed out and too bright. It's extremely irritating I dont know how to fix it.
it'd be nice if they released the elite series 3 controller, cuz the series 2 has some major problems with the rb/lb buttons, no matter what they won't fix.=
so whats the deal with this auto low latency mode? I have a asus Hdmi 2.0 monitor and it never allows me to select it. Do I need to have some other things changed?
I can’t get rid of motion blur on my series x. I have the lg cx 120hz panel in game mode, with the 2.1 cable hooked up and 120hz/VRR setting on my Xbox. I should NOT be getting motion blur on every game that has camera pans and movements. How do I fix this?
Yeh, first, don't buy the controllers, the analogs break after 1 month. Buy 3th party. And if you are counting on mouse and keyboard support, first look at the list of games that support it. But it is a good console.
I just got a series s, I play destiny 2 alot I was playing on the one x and I’ve noticed the picture on the series s isn’t as clear would there be a reason for this?
How come when I take a game clip in 4K on the series x and upload it to the Xbox app when I check to see the game clip I just captured is always way darker than the original video.. how do you fix this
Is your TV HDR? It might then make the video look funny on an SDR device perhaps, since the Xbox will record HDR gameclips if HDR is enabled on your TV / monitor.
I have so many issues every time there's an update. Let's get started. I have an Xbox X & every time there's an update I have problems getting back on line with Xbox servers or Xbox live. When I download new content I have to download Xbox X/S & Xbox1 in order to play? I have done all the regular things like unplug the Modem, restart the Xbox X, factory reset the Xbox X, un installed then reinstalled the games & all the content. When I'm in the menu section with all the games I have Vangaurd, Warzone, Modern Warfare I usually click on MW, wait for it to Check Files then I back out & go to WZ & do the same thing. I play WZ and don't care to play Multi-player but it's all downloaded. Any suggestions, anything I can get help with? Appreciate it!
You should make a video with more detail in how to create accounts for family members in the house, say wife and daughter for example and how to share the games that we own with them on the same console with different profiles, and also how to block some games that have more adult content from kids. If you already have a video like that please share it in the comment. Keep up the good work
Are alot of videos out there just Google but buy games on main profile share automatically with rest .for the the kids create new accounts go to parental option in kids acount and set up what you want to block
There’s an option for multiple accounts right as you sign in and on the Home Screen. Most of these things are fairly self-explanatory within the console you just have to dig a bit. Otherwise there’s always Google
I just ordered the series x. Pretty sure my tbh can only do 60hz on 4k. Will it be best to play on 4k 60hz or 1440p on 120hz ? Heard someone saying if you play multiplayer you should do the 120hz but in single player go for 4k 60hz
It's so weird that when xbox series x set to 1440p 120hz games look more detailed and color vibrant. On uhd 4k 120hz games look more blury and less color vibrant. I have an lg oled bx with the latest update. Don't know why but it's true. Anyone having the same issue?
My Xbox series X does not give me the option to change my “Refresh Rate” in its own menu under the “Resolution” menu.. is that a TV thing or do I need to do a update or something.

what is disappointing about the Series X is that 4K UHD content from streaming apps, Netflix, Disney etc is not as good as the xbox one S, there is a big difference between the two consoles and while the series X is far superior with game quality it is ridiculous that its not as good as the much cheaper and lower spec xbox one S for movies .

4k 120hz
@@rookiezer0165 1440p to 4k is barely noticeable, not to mention how much more expensive 4k is, and most games do not run at native 4k120hz
@@DarkSlayer1901 I'm just going off the basis that price is not an issue 4k 120 is better then 1440p 144 if the focus is the series S or X
I'd like to know where she's pullin this 2TB bs from
I do have 30TB of storage for my Xbox X so they mean I can’t plug it to the Series X any ideas ?
Because I am interesting in buying a Xbox series s/x can i log in with my PC account and still have my games or do I need to buy them again for the console also for how much does the game pass games stay for ?
There is still another prob which is not solved from MS until today: HDR. It can not be that HDR is ONLY use in 4K mode. On the PS5 you can now use HDR with 1080p, 1440p and 2160p on HDMI 2.0. That should be the same with the Series X. It doesn't make sense to use it on 4K only.
Bought XseriesX last Nov 2020 & recommend it..
Tip: Samsung G5 32' 1440p monitor, 144hz. Less expensive than some other monitors
We need to get the series s more 1440 P games
I think it’s up to the devs to optimize games further for the series s, most are lazy and just make it 1080p60 when the games can easily run at 1440p60.
Okay so I have quite a bit of hard copy games so how do I go about doing that?
Did you record this on Xbox Series X? I want to stream with the Xbox and can i do this with 4k ???
A choice to upload your own background image on the profile page would be 👌 (Series console's)
Thats not there anymore?
@@TWzonenoflexxOD It was there originally?
@@dodgeraid72 I thought it was. You have to use an external source though.
@@TWzonenoflexxOD I know you can change your profile picture, but the background on your Xbox account behind your picture I didn't think you could change
@@dodgeraid72 that's changeable.
If you’re going back and forth between a monitor and tv, is there a way to save the settings to make it easier to go back forth?
77 inch lg c1 just got it 2 weeks ago. The best tv I've had. I love tvs
Quick resume works on an external drive btw
I have a 5.1 sound bar but it won’t let me choose that only Dolby audio help
One thing don’t see Audio pass through to headset similar to PS4 audio
Some tv support 4k 60 but dont have 1440p resolution setting like philips oled lg oled has 1440p setting
@@uusrikas ah okay, so because I don’t have 1440p it will run the games at 1080p even when the setting is 4K UHD. Thank you!
I believe und runs at the best resolution for your tv
It runs at 1440p and upscales to 4K automatically
Finally got a series X so excited to play
I have an Xbox series S and have made quite a few videos on tips and tricks and gadgets you can get for it
I have a Sony XE9005 4K TV but i can not use "Auto low-latency mode" and "variable refresh rate.
I was able to pre order Halo infinite limited edition Xbox can't wait to try it out :)
Great Video I just ordered my Series X and got it and have been looking for ways to optimize the video. Thanks!
Does this work on Xbox one
it'd be nice if they released the elite series 3 controller, cuz the series 2 has some major problems with the rb/lb buttons, no matter what they won't fix.=
That problem is an easy fix. There’s a video how to fix it.
Is there a way I can set the Series X to default to 1440p 120Hz where possible and if no 120 support set it to 4K 60Hz?
Would it even BE 4k if it were on 60hz?..
so whats the deal with this auto low latency mode? I have a asus Hdmi 2.0 monitor and it never allows me to select it. Do I need to have some other things changed?
Auto low-latency mode is an HDMI 2.1 feature, this is why you don't get the option for a 2.0 monitor.
@@charles23470 well thats a shame. Hopefully I can get my hands on that new Eve spectrum that came out. With 2.1 capabilities then.
Have a series s but I do not have low latency mode on it
I can’t get rid of motion blur on my series x.
This is gonna be what I watch is when I get it hopefully this December if not whenever I can get
Only 30 seconds at 4k for a capture is a bit little bit underwhelming to me really
I’ve been a Xbox gamer for 3 weeks .
How do. Calibrate hdr if u have a tcl 43" class 4 series 4k uhd hdr roku smart TV 43s431
Quick resume works for both internal and external
Not for all games
I enabled dolby vision but I noticed i can't choose Game mode , how to fix this problem if i want to play multiplayer with low latency ?
Can I play 1440P at 120Hz on a TV screen
Very happy with my new xbox
How come when I take a game clip in 4K on the series x and upload it to the Xbox app when I check to see the game clip I just captured is always way darker than the original video.. how do you fix this
Is your TV HDR? It might then make the video look funny on an SDR device perhaps, since the Xbox will record HDR gameclips if HDR is enabled on your TV / monitor.
@@GreeniusGenius yes it is.. it randomly fixed itself lol maybe the Xbox was being weird 🤷🏻♂️
@@JeffzBeard That’s really strange… Good that it’s fixed though.
So you can use 4k and 120hz at the same time on the Xbox series x ? On a Monitor
Ghostriderx9 - Sure you can. As long as the monitor supports 4k120HZ with HDR, you're good to go.
@@Jagosix o okay thanks
also make sure one of the hdmi ports are “HDMI 2.1” anything lower will give you 1440p at 120fps. Or 4k 60hz at the most.
Its a mith, i never believe x can run Original 4k at 120hz + hdr, no way, expensive pc yes but this black atari come on
@@Katila234 well, it can, use a HDMI 2.1 compatible monitor/tv and it'll do 4K120 with HDR or Dolby Vision
What game is that at 1:40? I know she says rocket league and apex, but it didn't look like apex to me.
What game was that with the blue character? In beginning of video
Thanks! I just bought one
Whats a good 4k tv?
very good tips and the system is excellent💪💚❤️
My Xbox series X does not give me the option to change my “Refresh Rate” in its own menu under the “Resolution” menu.. is that a TV thing or do I need to do a update or something.
I managed to get my hands on the Xbox series x today for my daughter then after watching this the new tv I ordered her aswell I cancelled and got one that goes up to 120ghz.
I have 2018 Samsung NU7400 and it looks superb
I was talking like y before time but when i buy Samsung QR 65 with 120hz panel and FreeSync for almost no money, the best offer ever exist, verry cheap plus full of extras, and then when y return to yr old tv, effect will be wow
I would like a Xbox series X but they are still showing sold out , when I pre-ordered one before they came out they cancelled my pre-order and gave me my money back which was BS, but thanks though for the info when I get one
Just wait till the next-gen consoles are released in a few years, it will probably be in stock by then and at a discount too!
Yes i get mine very rare case, is much more easy to win jackpot 100 million $ from yr lotary from getting series x, wait 5 years lol
I got a series X a couple of days ago and want to get rid if the xbox auppor and captures icons that are in the same row as my games. How do i do that
I don’t have that auto low latency mode available on my Xbox?? It’s there but it’s not clickable for me. Is this a tv issue? I have a nice 2018 LG tv why is this happening?
I don’t care what anybody says 1440P is the sweet spot. I have a MSI 29inch 1440P gaming monitor 120hz HDR10 1500R Non-Glare and it the best. Way better than my 50inch Samsung tv
I also have a msi monitor and it’s insane!
I have a 4ktv but there is no 4k option the highest it goes is 1440p
I figured it out the game has to be on then 4k setting pops up on my tv and saves my setting for people with a Vizio tv
what is disappointing about the Series X is that 4K UHD content from streaming apps, Netflix, Disney etc is not as good as the xbox one S, there is a big difference between the two consoles and while the series X is far superior with game quality it is ridiculous that its not as good as the much cheaper and lower spec xbox one S for movies .
Question i dont have dolby vision or auto latency mode nor allow variable refresh why?i have my settings in 4k 60 hz and still no good quality
Thanks For Giving Us Some Tips 😁☺️.
This is more convincing than a actual Xbox ad
Just got series x thanks for your vid
kindly help
i use xbox s
when i record video its quality decrease a lot
when i further uplaod in youtube it decrease more
help me with it please
Whaaaaat, it's been a year already, I still can't buy one.
If you have a arrons check with them that's how I got mine and glad I did it was worth the payments
I ended up just spending a extra 80 for the s 🙄 it’s getting ridiculous even tried Best Buy and target but they won’t let you buy it unless you go through Microsoft financing and even then you have to have a citizen bank account for it to be accepted
You can definitely get the Series S if you have the money. Its almost always in stock, the Series X however is in stock but not all the time.
Which you wann buy? X or s?
@@10MinutesofGameplay well I finally bought series X. 2 years of wait is over. Finallyyyyyy
Could anyone by chance recommend a good monitor for the series s I’m planning on upgrading everything and my budget for a monitor is 200-300
imo I would recommend the LG ultra gear 144 hertz 27 inch monitor it’s around your price range if you haven’t got one yet
I just bought a series s and going to use a Msi g32c4w, a 32” curved 1920x1080 HDMI DP 165Hz 1ms FreeSync LCD Gaming Monitor. It’s 250$, definitely best monitor you can buy for its price
Lol sold my Xbox 360 last year have a Lg 1080p tv this month bought a Xbox sx and Lg c2 tv finally me.
