Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Gregory Abraham i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I installed the block off plate now the bike won't start I made sure everything is connected. When I turn the key I can hear the fuel prime and when I hold the start button it just cranks but doesn't start what did I do wrong?
Ok what if I don't have that that mechanism to turn off the ECU engine check light I only have the block off plate when I ordered my kit that's all I came with a plug and a plate. So what can I do to fix that situation so I don't get an engine check light on?
You can install this part to prevent the engine light from coming on: HealTech Kawasaki Ninja 400 18-21 PAIR System Eliminator www.sportbiketrackgear.com/healtech-kawasaki-ninja-400-18-21-pair-system-eliminator/ - Van
If you're not planning to Flash the ECU but still want to install block offs, Kawasakis usually don't look for any specific resistance from the Pair solenoid. Just continuity. As long as the connector is shorted, the light should stay out.
We are flashing the ecu on the Ninja (video will be out next week). ECU flash is something we recommend on most any of the current models when prepping them for the track. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear @redrider2k2 so that blue connector that was left disconnected in the video at 14:27 (and in the Woodcraft Keyswitch Eliminator video) just needs to be shorted to keep light out?
what do you mean by shorted? i installed a full Akra on my 400 with the TST block off plates that came in with the PAIR AIS Eliminator Circuit but i still have my check engine light on ;(
@@sportbiketrackgear Hey bro , I try to find a video about how to change the fuel filter in ninja 400 but I couldn’t one yet !! Can you please make a video to teach people how to change the fuel filter in ninja 400 please ?!!!
Some of the past comments wouldn't load, I apologize if you already answered this. Block off plate, new velocity stacks, K&N filter... when all three are done, without ECU or full exhaust... what can be expected negatively? Warning lights? Popping? Was going to order your PAIR eliminator as well, but out of stock. Would that even help?
Pretty sure that eliminating the PAIR valve will turn on the CEL. The HealTech elim will take care of that (you may need to clear the codes after installing). Other than that there will be no issues. - Van
When you disconnect the fuel line you will only lose the small amount held in the line itself. The fuel pump will not allow any fuel to pass by when there is no power supplied to it. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear I was considering for a full mivv exhaust system an air filter upgrade and an ecu flash would that warrant 10 more horses or is that very optimistic?
Hey Brian, Any Ideas on why my bike is starting rough after this install? Upon startup it sounds like its about to stall out. I made sure the fuel line, electrical connectors for both the fuel pump and the airbox, the 2 vent lines on the left side, the 2 other hoses (one on bottom of airbox and one on the right, as well as a vacuum cap on the airbox where the AIS used to be connected are in place. I also made sure to keep the gasket from the AIS in place under the block-off plate. Thanks in advance.
@@sportbiketrackgear I think the first time my fuel pump primed (after reattached the tank) it sucked some air. After running it the sputtering stopped
hey van I have a question what if you remove the flaps on the Reed valve but keep the pair valve system intact, will it effect performance or cause more exhaust popping ect?
If you install the block off plates and want to remove the reeds I do not believe it will change anything. You need the plate the reeds are attached to because it includes the gasket. - Van
Hey Brian, I have a question, what if I blocked the AIS System without flashing the ECU, aka full standard only aftermarket exhaust and block the AIS System
Question: Why does Norton's & SpearsRacing both include (2) 3/16″ EPDM Rubber Vacuum Caps with their kit? I haven't been able to find any video/instructions on where those go. Trying to decide what kit to get and doing my research first. Thanks for the great instructional video!
I have an Akra full system on my Ninja 400. Haven't made any other changes to the engine. I am getting some popping on deceleration. Will a block off plate fix this? Will it run ok without any changes to the ECU? Thx!
This allows you to remove the Air Injection System (part of the emissions system) when you are installing a full exhaust system and prepping the bike for the track. You would only need to do this if you are removing the emissions system on the bike. - Van
Hey I have a question it would help me so much if you could answer. The fuel line at with the red clamp the side on the right I got that off, but when putting it back on I there is like a lip on the piece that you slide it over when putting it back on. It looks like it should be able to go slightly over that lip in order for the little red clamp to catch on it and prevent it from moving but mine won't go past the little lip. It does go past the lip on the left side that connect to the gas tank but not on the right. Is that how yours is too or is mine just messed up? Basically my right side of the fuel line is only staying on with friction rather than going bast the little lip and the red clamp securing it like it does on the other side. Any tips on what to do or if this is normal?
You need to get a small flat blade screw driver and use the blade to release the red clip by prying the center away from the fuel line. It will move pretty easy so no excessive force is needed. The center of the clip is on the opposite side of the open end. Once you have done this you can remove the line. Leave the clip disengaged until you slip the line back on. Once the line is back on push the clip back in place with your finger. Hope this helps and sorry for the slow response. We were gone racing on the West Coast for three weeks. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thank you. It's so weird, I tried for hours and for some reason it would not go past the little lip that the red clamp slides onto. Pushed as hard as I can and nothing. I took the fuel tank and air box off tried a few more times nothing. Then, I try one last time and it slides over and clicks into place. This was a week ago and still cannot figure out why the hell it was not going on. The red clamp wasn't in the way either. Oh well just glad it's on now.
