Just a small correction I noticed, any% isn't 'the least amount of levels possible', it's more a 'as fast as possible' with small communitybased own ruling here and there. If there would be a route with 3 levels all being 30 seconds short vs only 1 autoscroller that needs 3 minutes the any% route would be the 3 levels making the total of exits needed for any% higher but the total time would be lower :)
“Least amount of levels/progress possible” is any% if it’s faster, or low% if it’s not, depends on the context but it’s just better to describe any% as fastest time possible regardless.
Super demo world: the legend continues is like the one SMW hack (not counting Mario Maker) I've really played. I didn't know you held those records. Nice!
Holy crap there was so many times that I was either laughing to myself for the sheer hilarious skips, or left dumbfounded by the more impressive ones (that springskip is a thing of beauty). Also, I want to point out a few things. 1. I loved the attention to detail, such as reversing your voice when talking about the mirror hack. 2. I love that you are plugging your old videos, I've said this before and will say it again. They deserve more views 3. I love the genuine passion you feel for this game. Your sincere love for this game and its community just oozes out of every second of this video and its wonderful. 4. I love that you add humour. Far too many speedrun vids are scared of adding jokes 5. That you look about 13 years old but have the voice of a 36 year old
I really find hilarious how in the "Reverse Mario World" hack, Bowser's castle just sits on top of Yoshi's Island. Like watch out, it might topple over before Mario arrives
this is a great video, i enjoyed it very much. this is the perfect birthday present as someone who happens to enjoy mario romhacks and loves speedrunning AND was born on new years eve this video was not only inspirational but it was really good at showcasing the top runners of niche categories. not only that but he was really good at demonstrating things and showcasing all the zany world of mario hacks and all the tricks and everything. my good man Storster you made my bday epic simply by talkin bout super mario speedruns. thanks.
I love how in depth this is. I was worried that I wouldn't maintain interest in hack speedruns for an extended period of time, but damn. Very nicely executed. Thank you for expressing what you have fun with.

I am definitely interested in at least covering the original Kaizo Mario World cause I think that’s really interesting, so maybe I’d do other notable hacks if that went well! Appreciate the support

I don't know if anyone else around here agrees, but, when I played Super Mario Maker 1 & 2's SMW levels and I couldn't click with them since I've tasted the glory of actual SMW hacks and went back to SMWCentral.

I like your content a lot across the board, but the first ~2 minutes has you saying something like "but that's not what I want to talk about" three different times. Once might add spice and intrigue, but three times (and then another "I could go on about..." not too much later) just makes the video drag on a bit; I think cutting those lines wouldn't lose much and would make the video more engaging. Whether or not you agree, thanks for making another interesting video!
