Love the card, but your portrait of Chef Jose - WOW! You make it look so easy (and I know it took lots and lots of practice!) TFS! What a great way to start the week.
Excellent video - would love to see more portraits done in watercolour pencil - this one was wonderful to watch - very interesting to see the layers. I had no idea watercolour pencils were so suitable for portrait sketches.
I dont know if the same pigments are used in the pencils as in watercolor paint. Ultramarine is always granulating... this pigment as a minarel in it (ultramarine, doh) and the stone particles wont mix and blend with the water so you keep to see them. But when the pigment is wet you can move arround the granulation particles, while the green on your pretty tree just dint dissolve and dint move arround. With the albrecht duhrer they dont give pigment info as far as i know... I know caran dache has great costumer service, maybe they can answer your questions?
Fantastic paintings ! And for once I have the choice for the color pencils as I live close to the Caran D’Ache factory. I don’t have to worry about shipping fees and custom taxes 😉😅!
Very cute card! Looking forward to the watercolor pencil class. While I am unlikely to get these particular pencils since I already have the Albrecht Dürer, it’s nice seeing the review. Love your sketch of Jose Andrés.
Thank you!!! Such amazing projects and your video was really helpful--Particularly the swatches. I paused as you flipped through your book and ordered a number of extra individual colors that weren't part of my other Caran d'Ache set through your link. Thank you so much for sharing. 😅
WOWSERS!!! You always amaze & inspire me Sandy!!! Thanks for this lesson on the Supra color watercolor pencils, they have beautiful colors. Your art piece of Chef Jose is FABULOUS!!! Thanks for sharing your artistic gifts and the information on wck.org, Chef Jose is awesome for what he’s doing, God bless him!!!
Oh! oh gosh thank you so incredibly much! I’m sorry another question- May I ask what do you think of the museum aquarelle and inktense too? Do you have an overall favourite- museum, supracolor or inktense ? I saw your comparison but wasn’t sure. Thank you so incredibly much! Oh I have a few museum and some feel very dry and powdery (?)& I’m sure some granulated . did you experience that with any museum aquarelle? So sorry for the questions!
Thank you so much. And the portrait turned out absolutely stunning!!! May I ask, now you have had them so much longer, do you prefer the durer or the Supracolor pencils? Which ones seem brighter and dissolve easier? Thank you again!

Sometimes in a wooden box the company will make a special run of the supplies in it… I don’t know if they have, but you could ask them and see? Maybe they felt if it had the special box they should put specially created pencils in it?
How much art education do you have? You putter along doing this and that and then you blast something magnificent out that makes me stand there with my mouth hanging open. 😁. Keep up the great work. I like both. Surprises are the bombdigity!!!!!
Vooo beautiful Sandy Allnock Looking forward for the class
Wow...you are so beautifully talented...I love watching you paint!
You always amaze me with your talent. Thanks for sharing.
WOW! To all of it especially the portrait.
Love this video, as much for watching your wonderful painting talent as for your honoring of Chef José Andrés. He is a true hero. Thank you!

Hello,
It’s always a pleasure to see your tuto 😉
It’s just amazing to watch you create. Just to see your vision spill onto paper is just so cool. Thank you for what you do and sharing with us!!
Dissolves ? I’m liking the way this looks.

What ? Super colors.look really beautiful. I'm trying to learn Instagram, so much to do, yikes. .
How do you think winsor newton series 7 brushes compare to the silvers that you use ?
They’re far better for my large paintings. But way too expensive for cardmaking.
Wow
Saw these was wondering

Anything Caran d’ache beats all else on quality! Inktense are nice and bright but…they don’t melt completely and that bugs me.

Definitely the Supracolor are better but the Albrecht Durer are still very very nice.

Which is faster, using watercolor pencils or watercolor paint?
I find paint faster. But lots of control with pencil.
may i ask that, have you made supracolor watercolor chart? thanks
No because with most printers, the printer ink will bleed and taint the colors.
Hello,
I have bought wooden box of supracolor in wooden box, they have not barcode on pencils, are they still genuine?
