Here's the common sense thing to do; skip out on detention, launch Phase 2 of the Skid's construction, and then launch a Return to the Past before you get in trouble. Simple, right?

Launching returns in the past doesn't directly increase Xana's power, it increases the supercomputer's power, thereby increasing the amount of power Xana has access to. I don't think it matters if he's trapped in the supercomputer or not since he still seems to have access to its power regardless.

That's why they weed out those who are divergent so they dont broaden their knowledge to those who are average in order to keep them at bay. Like they program you into solving this question with only 1 answer they deem correct to the question, when in reality theres more than 1 right answer to it but expressing those answers equals failure. That in turn endows a sense of fear in your head from failing, thwarting you from failing again, making you walk a strict path that'll lead you to a unhealthy lifestyle due to that fear. Personally, when I got out of school I didn't know what to do afterwards because I was so caught up in studies and less caught up in my interests.
