- Patrick Belpois, Jeremy’s cousin is a surprise new student enrolled at Kadic Academy. Unlike the rest of the Lyoko Warriors, who find the newcomer interesting and charming, Jeremy has always detested his cousin, and makes this much clearly understood. Sissi takes advantage of the Belpois family feud to try and uncover the secret of our heroes. But soon Xana attacks and things become even more complicated…

Jeremy should REALLY consider securing his laptop a lot more as well as the supercomputer. He knows full well that he has confidential files including illegal fake ID information.
He could do some severe prison time man I didn't realize this. but they pretty much are deeply involved in illegal activity they could get in serious trouble with the government.its a good thing there's a return to the past.
Last episode alone they sabotaged a space station's super computer, what'd cost a few likely hundred million at the least. That's some serious jail time if they were caught.

I 100% agree but I imagine it's normally secure, it's just this episode he had that program and couldn't lock his computer at the same. All other times he's been literally thrown from the computer when it's messed with, leaving it open to be hacked.

TMachine97 It's was around the later seasons that they decided to speed up the episodes, they're still talking normally, just with increased time. The earlier seasons were at a slow/steady pace.

Actually, some data revealed that their fathers are twin brothers, which means that relatively, Jeremie and Patrick are cousins, but genetically speaking, they're siblings.

leading to my dislike of Cartoon Network which lasted until 2014 when i accepted Steven Universe: the only show on Cartoon Network that has Code Lyoko Level Quality put in it. along side with, OK KO Let's Be Heroes & Adventure Time.

JFC this had to be the most stressful episode ever...
First Sissi and Herb get their hands on Jeremy's computer,
Then they interrupt the program, cutting off the Skid's shield's and drains the Navskids' power,
And because of that, everyone is about to get virtualized forever/deleted,
Next, they start poking around in Jeremy's files and discover Aelita's faked background and all the calls Jeremy made to cover William's disappearance,
While all of THAT is going on, XANA activates a tower, and takes control of Sissi and Herb to do even more damage to the Supercomputer, and nearly kill Jeremy and Patrick in the process,
The Skid takes a direct hit and loses power, dropping deeper and deeper into the Digital Sea,
Then XANA creates and brand new monster for the sole purpose of drilling through the Skid's window...
I think I just found the episode that caused my anxiety disorder...

When I originally saw this episode, I was kind of hoping that Patrick would join them.

If He Knew That His Cousin And Friends Are Secretly Working For A Scientist That Is Hidden Inside In The Super Computer, And Knowing About The AI Xana And William Being Held Prisoner, Then He Had To Call In The Authories To Know About That And His Cousin And Friends Will Be Arrested For Doing Illegal Activites. I Know That Laura From Code Lyoko Evolution Was Considered The Official Seventh Lyoko Warrior, And Even Almost Going To Lyoko To Help Odd With The Infected Skid In "Betting On Odd" And Not To Mention That She Went On A Key Word Group. She Manipulated William Into Injecting The Virus Into The Cortex So That Will Destroyed Xana. But Not Only Will Destroy The Cortex, But It Will Also Take Away The Information About Anthea (Aelita's Mom). About Where She Is. So The Group Decided To Kick Her Out Of The Group For Betraying Them. So Maybe Having Patrick As The Seventh Lyoko Warrior Wasn't The Best Idea On Paper. But You Are Absolutley Right, Patrick Would Join Their Group. Great Idea Through. But Not In The Slightest.

I’m glad that this show demonstrates the nature of learning from ones experiences, both their triumphs and failures. Thing is, this show also has a tendency of retreading the same ground with its characters and the lessons they learn. Jeremy gets too caught up in their mission, Ulrich gets jealous way too easily, Odd can be selfish, etc. etc. That’s not to say that needing to learn the same lessons over again isn’t realistic, because it totally is. But realistic or not, I find it can make for something of a tiresome cycle. This is an episode for Jeremy to face his character flaw. It is not the first, and if there were many more episodes left of this show, I’d put money on it not being the last. This type of conflict has stopped being interesting to watch, at least to me.
@BLS. I don't understand why these guys make these kids go through these situations when they are going to forget the lessons they have learned an episode later. They learn a lesson and next episode after that, they are back to their old selves and completely forget the lesson they've learned. Wy can't they learn that important lessons and be done with it?

@@Mister_Jay_Tee I call bull. Everything is always the same in this show. They learn a lesson and completely forget about it an episode later. It's happened so many times that I have lost count. Not working in real life is hardly any fucking excuse in this show.
When his programming messes up, they blame him. When he works instead of playing, they complain. He is the only person other than eilita that isn't 100% replaceable. Literally, the other 3's only practical utility is being good at video games.
I know! Even Aelita blames him. And even when he's worked his fingers to the bone to find her father in "Aelita", and he didn't even mean what he said, she still blames him instead of properly explaining that she needed to go to sector 5 and goes behind his back in the most PETTY, DEMORALISING AND SHADY way possible, even roping Odd into it! What makes it worse is that she NEVER APOLOGISED OR FELT REMOTELY BAD about it. Even in this episode, instead of understanding Jeremie's fears, she just calls him a "sore loser' and a "3 year old baby" and STILL doesn't apologise. I HATE HER. Poor Jeremie.

Aelita lost a decade of her life. And then the opportunity of a lifetime to bring her father back comes. She would take it without hesitation.
As for Jeremie? She was right. He _was_ lashing out and feeling sorry for himself. He _was_ unjustified, and he admits it.

Do you think Jeremy got the principal to think that Patrick's parent wanted him to live nearby home? It just seems weird that he was literally there for less one day with a recommendation from his family (and even didn't finish the paperwork), and was suddenly asked to leave. Before the return to the past, the principal wasn't try to find Patrick. We don't really know how far to the past they were sent. Maybe Jeremy got Patrick out of the school in order to protect him. He could have just send a fax or memo to the principal (which explains why he had a piece of paper).

You'd think this show would get an abundance of English speaking voice actors after it took off (after the first season or so) in popularity that everyone's voice would be unique and well spoken but they had to reuse so many voice actors. :(
This was the first episode I ever watched with my sister. I was pretty young and had not seen any other episodes as far as I remember, so I had absolutely no clue what was happening. All I was able to remember was that stupid drill squid.
God this episode is the most stressful and scared me so much when i first saw it and now seeing it again since i dont remember watching for the first time it gave me a heart and panic attack-
It's the "yeah, I'm overjoyed" for me.

Man... this show would be WAY cooler if Patrick and William became regular allies, and have Jim regain his memory, Kiwi join up, finish the romance with Yumi and Ulrich, making Sissi a part of the group, more new characters and even human villains and adult allies.... and time skips..... man this show has so much potential and they decide to make it 'live action' and then it just disappears.... very sad.

A good question the writers were probably hoping no one would ask lol
This would have been a neat hook for another episode or a mini-arc. Instead of Jeremy being chill and in good spirits, he goes to the wreck room with a sense of foreboding because "this shouldn't have happened _why did this happen_" and then the next episode or a few would have the group trying to figure out why certain things had changed, if there was a connecting factor between them, etc.
I wish the series had gotten another series to properly wrap things up; this would've been interesting for them to flesh out more instead of the more likely scenario that they ended it that way because they didn't know how else to wrap things up without changing the status quo drastically.
It likely didnt but they left for a game of fooz-ball so the principle couldnt find him in the room

It's not her job to teach Jeremy how to be mature, she was right in this episode, he was upset just because Patrick was naturally a cooler and more approachable guy and took everyone liking him more then Jeremy a more introverted geeky loner kid as Patrick intentionally stealing his friends🙄he had to grow up and stop being jealous and bitter towards his cousin who did nothing wrong and just wanted a good relationship with him which like I said is something he had to deal with himself, it shouldn't be aelita's job to and if anything she gave him a huge reality check, one he desperately needed
What was XANA Herb going to do with Aelita's files on Jeremy's computer before the the tower was deactivated? Also, how did Aelita get Patrick's phone number? They only met for a few minutes.

Because of previous episodes, I figured it was another XANA clone or something going to cause some discourse, but Patrick was actually legit and a cool dude that stood up for Jeremy!

I feel like Jermie would’ve had some kind of failsafe to turn off remote access to the super computer, just in case. Even Jermie should have acknowledged the possibility someone like Sissi could screw with things.
I have just say Jeremy was extremely rude.
First his workaholic Nature on fighting Xana and then his cousin coming to see him who is extremely nice to him.
Not only was he extremely rude to Patrick he was extremely rude to the love of his life Aelita.
Asking Aelita if she’s blind or some thing that is just absolutely rude and not what a gentleman would say.
Jeremy Maybe a bright genius but there are certain times where he puts fighting and getting rid of Xana first over his friends and girlfriend.
Glad to see in the end he learned his lesson.
