- Aelita finds a photo of herself with Franz Hopper at the Hermitage. Jeremy tries to extract information from the picture, as mathematical formulas are visible on a chalkboard in the background. But the image winds up in the hands of Sissi, who passes the photo on to her father. This rouses the Headmaster’s curiosity: what is Aelita doing with the former academy physics professor?! It’s up to our heroes to protect Aelita’s secret …

You know I was always surprised that Jeremy never used the reboot program to break Xana’s control over Aelita in season three when Xana used her to enter code Xana’s in the way towers so he could destroy all four sectors so they couldn’t use the transport orb to get to sector five and that way he wouldn’t have any interference destroying the core of Lyoko.

The principal had no reason to question Odd and Aelita. Who cares if he thought they were related to an old teacher who worked there, they didn't actually do anything wrong. If he was that curious he could've just approached them informally. Imagine getting to the principal cause they find out you have a family connection. That would be so bizarre lol

But because Aelita was trapped in Lyoko in the super computer when her father shut it down to prevent Xana from taking over the world 10 years before the events of the series began and before Jeremy found it and rebooted it The effects of the super computer being turned off for 10 years kept her at the age she was when her father and her went to Lyoko for the first time and she lost all of her memory including who she was (in the event of Xana awakens) of her past and childhood including the ones about who both her parents were and what happened to them

but technically they do not suffer pain in Lyoko when losing points or being devirtualized,they just... lose points. they do seem to feel some pain when returning to the real world prob due to the stress of virtualization
the second time Delmas has been controlled by xana since episode 41 and that's also when Sissi x ulrich kissed if yumi found out she'll be pissed
The last activated tower in the Forest Sector as well as the last visit in it before it's second deletion. Rest in peace. We will all remember you, for being the most beautiful place from all four surface sectors. We have to hope that Jeremie and Aelita decide to recreate the Forest and the Ice Sectors.

Even though the writing in this episode was kind of lackluster (because of how Aelita didn't use her wings to get away from the Scyphozoa and Ulrich not even bothering to use super sprint to save her and etc), this is one of my favorites because of the sword fight between Ulrich and Aelita. It's so badass. I also love how at 17:56, Aelita literally almost kicked Ulrich in the ass. XD

Not to mention the countless times Franz has saved his daughter. However, in head canon and in fan fiction, I call Aelita, Aelita Schaeffer to differentiate between the two

In the end after the return to the past is launched and the gang head off to classes and before Aelita goes to catch up with them the part where she was imagining in the photo of her as a little girl giggling with her father and him making a friendly grunting noise or whatever it was made me happy and sad at the same time as I’m sure it did for Aelita.
She was always hoping they could reunite like that after destroying Xana but sadly that never happened as he sacrificed himself to protect and save his daughter, help her daughter’s friends (including her boyfriend Jeremy to give him the data he needed for the anti-Xana program to destroy Xana) and save the world from falling into Xana’s clutches.
You know I have nothing against Franz Hopper at all but sometimes I feel like back the. he cared more about trying to destroy project Carthage then he did about his wife and daughter due to the fact how extremely obsessed and how insane he became trying to destroy it.
I wish he had use his scientific skills when he created the super computer, Lyoko and Xana to try to locate his kidnapped wife first instead of trying to destroy project Carthage.
Franz Hopper may have been a genius and loving father and husband but he was the kind of person who let his obsessions get the best of him and his emotions and sometimes in some ways he’s responsible for his wife getting kidnapped.

It's a thing with the protagonists that the character with the story-breaker powers will oftentimes be incapacitated or have a heavy handicap on them. Aelita's powers (Matter creation, energy fields, virtual world sense, angel wings) are all extremely deadly on paper. In practice, they keep her as the damsel in distress so that she won't one-shot everything.
Villains that have these powers get a LOT more leeway. Hence why whenever Aelita falls under XANA's control, she becomes a whirl of destruction, now only restricted by the budget.
