I used to have my son call his dad for his birthday and Father’s Day but his dad couldn’t be bothered to call him on his birthday or any other time so now I leave up to my adult son. (Who changed his last name to mine and dropped his dad’s last name when he was 15). What goes around comes around.

Exactly. Cause when you get old and your kids grow up some don't want nothing to with you. If you are not there only spend time for holidays when kids need help you only help certain ones. It come back to bite. I moved away. If I move again I think I will move near my dad's side of family. I moved with my boyfriend for work. And been with him for 4 years. We supposedly got engaged but right now he has not said if we are still engaged. December his sibling wants us to move. But we will see.

He can come visit her. I don’t think that a parent should withhold visitation because the other parent isn’t paying child support. I thank God my mom didn’t stop us from seeing my dad despite the child support never being paid. This allowed us to firm a relationship and form our own opinions about my dad. We knew he wasn’t paying and my mom’s behavior surrounding this led us to have so much more respect and love for her. She never ever tried to stop us from seeing my dad. Our failed relationship with him couldn’t have ever been blamed on her. She made sure to keep her statements about him as positive as possible without lying or sugarcoating anything.
Child support has nothing to do with him seeing his kid but he’s toxic and I wouldn’t force her to see him When she’s ready she’ll see him plus she’s old enough to make her own choices
The idea of dads not paying support for their kids and as a result, not being able to see the kids, is something I experienced in the 1970s. My first cousins were not allowed to see their father, which iced me out as well. This is NOT a new concept.
Having Christine, Aspyn, Ysabel and Truely around as babysitters around to 3 young children has been a huge benefit for Mykeltie. I can’t believe she would give all that up to move a few hours away from Maddie - not having any family around will be a LOT harder on the two of them.

Y would kody pay child support? He didnt care to pay for his daughter's surgery and to even be there for her cuz his friends wedding. He didnt get truly health care when christine was gone she would have died if christine hadnt come back.he has wrecked his relationship with his kids.none of the kids wished him a happy fathers day shows how they feel about him.
I had the best, most kind, and caring Dad in the world. He always put us first and we knew that he always had our back. He told us how proud he was of us constantly and showed us how to be a very good person. He died at age 55 of a massive heart attack when I was 25. It still hurts and it has been many years. I know that was lucky to have such a great Dad, but I was not ready to lose that so early.

I had the best parents ever if I could go back in time it would be when I was a child, my parents always put their kids first all 5 of us.
My daddy is still there for me at 47. I lost my husband and when I ask him or even my FIL for help, they are there. Tonight my daughter told me that a family friend is a second dad to her which she is loving! ❤
Lost my Dad when he was 59 and my Mom at 56. I miss them every day, they were wonderful!

but the death of Garrison will not be shown in season 19. They are about 2 years behind with the filming and if you choose not to watch, that is your decision. The show still has millions of fans that will be watching.

Everyone is moving here mostly from California. Utah’s housing market has tripled in the last 4 years. We are barely surviving out here. I’ve lived here all my life and can’t afford a house here. So…. Don’t come to Utah. We’re full and at the rate things are going we’ll be homeless before too long. This used to be a nice place…now we’re barely surviving.

They're moving for financial reasons. Both Tony and Mykelti look unhappy to move so it seems like they're forced to move. And the only thing that i can think of that would force a couple with kids away from family is finances.

I mean, why can't they just make their move and then announce it, why even put themselves at risk of Anything? It's ridiculous how drama and attention is so much more important to people than safety to themselves and their family. I do think it's a great move to make because Maddie is a positive role model and Mykelti could use some common sense and to humble herself. It's a great gift to give your kids to be close to cousins.
I couldn't agree more! I grew up with 3 of my cousins and I loved every second of it!! They were like bonus siblings who were old enough to babysit. (and they let us get away with so much that our parents never found out about 🤭)

Mykelti has always had a competition thing with Maddie. Not so much on Maddie's side but definitely on Mykelti's. Maddie got married and Mykelti tried to usurp it by having her wedding right directly afterwards. Maddie has removed herself from the whole situation and is living her best life. I HOPE that Mykelti can do so herself. Competition is huge between the wives and children in this cult. It's the onlly way emotional/physical needs can be gained.

Actually, I would be fearful that if he gets mad at Christine and treats Truly like he did Garrison, Truly could have issues later. Remember how he treated her when she didn't want to ride the bike. He basically tried to force her then called her a baby. He shamed her and acted totally disappointed in her. He gave her no comfort or support at all. I had a wonderful step father. He raised me as his own blood. I never missed or felt bad about not knowing my super doner
I feel bad for Christine. I moved to be close to my son and grandkids, but I didn’t do it until he seemed grounded where he was living by having his own business doing good so I felt it was safe that he wouldn’t move again. I had to wait though and commute a lot to see the kids and it was real hard for awhile. And then it would be long weekends every few months where the kids acted like I was a stranger at first and by the time we were getting close and comfortable, I would have to leave again.

As someone who lives in UT, the price of housing has gone through the roof. I’m pretty sure that NC is still very affordable.
Something that life has taught me is that silence is a way to hide truths. Maddy and her mother have found peace and quiet far from Utah, Arizona or Nevada. Which makes me think that Mykelti and Tony perhaps have the task of being the eyes and ears of Mr. Brown and his wife.

I feel the same way. I don’t know how he can sleep at night knowing what he did to child and his,other kids. But he lacks compassion morals and empathy So I guess nothing bothers king kody except poverty which I hope he and his queen Robin gets a huge dose of soon. ‼️

Is Kody listed as Truelys father on her birth certificate? I was under the impression most of the polygamists don’t list the father unless they are the legal spouse.
