Agree 💯...I have always felt Kody & Robyn had this all planned and took the equity from the homes to buy Robyn & his home.
He was able to convert the wives individually owned assets into assets owned by him and Robyn, it was quite a power play. Sadly Janelle took the biggest hit of all.
Even in Vegas Robyn had the biggest house. Her kids need own bedroom and bathroom. All the others shared bedrooms and bathrooms.

I remember when he made believe he was on the same page with her about Utah, and then acted like she was nuts when they were with the others, trying to make her look like a fool. I felt so bad for her, he is the ultimate in cruelty! So glad she dumped him and is with a decent man who loves her.

I'm angry we don't get all the content that they air. They repeated so much footage the last 2 seasons that could have been swapped out for these extra scenes.
It is interesting. My theory is that Kody is too arrogant to pay a professional to negotiate/review his TLC contracts, and he took steps to give himself the right to approve what footage is aired. But he never considered that his approval didn’t extend to what’s shown outside the U.S. market. Know-it-alls make the biggest suckers, because they *never* think they need to read the fine print 😂
Very clever of Katie 👍👍👍 for thinking to look at this footage. It has been a goldmine and answers a lot of questions that our episodes (and Sucky’s Tell-Nothings) left open.
I agree that some of these comments should be aired..it shows so much of the real Kody.

He probably has just enough influence to push them to delete content that blatantly shows the disparity between Robyn and the rest of the family along with the snarky attitude Robyn displays. He doesn't want us to see it because he wants to be the popular dude with 4 wives. He and production doesn't have issues with other audiences seeing it.
I think it has to do with the different laws! The copyright laws aren’t the same outside the US so maybe he thinks that whatever he approves or disapproves here will be the same everywhere and the production team has fun with more freedom in the other countries!

What was fortunate for Christine was that Kody took his name off the deed, because Robin was upset that his name on the houses was interferring with her getting a house loan. So he removed his name off of Christine's Flagstaff home which left it free & clear for her!! 👍

It was also Janelles advice to Christine. Janelle told Christine that if she was gonna leave she needed toget her finances organized. And when Kody asked to be removed off of Christine's mortgage m, it was a blessing in disguise.

It was a brilliant move on Christine’s part go ahead. Do you know go put your name on the deed with Robin? That’s fine. I’ll be OK blah blah blah couple months later. I Cody tells Christine that he doesn’t wanna be intimate with her anymore. He doesn’t blah blah blah just like he did with Mary and string her along or at least he tried to, but Christine wasn’t having it. She was all no no no no moved them out of the house because it was hers and only her name was on the deed and it wasn’t his house. He couldn’t claim it. His ego was too big for his butt and he thought he could boss around Christine and she’s all yeah right ha ha sure I’m done and then left his ass

I remember the episode where K takes Christine to see the property in Flagstaff. He was so proud of himself for the way he knew if he framed it as an overnight trip...a date... then he could sell her on the idea. Total manipulation and it worked. She was almost giddy to get to spend time alone going to Arizona with K and there is no telling what all he promised the OG3 to get them to move. I don't believe he EVER had any intention of building on Coyote Pass or staying in relationships with anyone but Robyn. It was a ploy to get all the assets and give Robyn anything she wanted. Christine is so lucky to have bought a house in Flagstaff and just by luck get K's name of the mortgage or she would have been trapped with nothing like Janelle. K only "allowed" her to buy that house because she couldn't find a rental and at the time his name would be on the mortgage. He had to take his name off Christines' house to qualify for Robyns mansion. He is nasty to the core.
That man, and polygamy in general, is absolutely despicable, especially in how the women and children are treated.

I am in Australia so have watched all the episodes here. I didn’t know there were different episodes in the US but I always felt that people in chats had slightly different interpretations to me. Things that were obvious they didn’t seem to be seeing.
Kody’s unfair treatment of Christine from early on and his preference for Robyn.
He always seemed way closer to Janelle’s kids than Christine’s kids. Meri, Janelle & Christine always seemed so trusting and it was easy to see they were being manipulated by Kody and Robyn.
Also, it seemed obvious that Robyn and Kody didn’t want the wives to leave for monetary purposes.
I also live in Australia and watched all. Our season numbers are different to US but was unaware that we see different footage. I get most of my info now on this channel.
Kody’s been driving around with a suspended license for a while now, that may be a problem.

Because Kody has been fined many times over the years & he doesn't agree with government rules, etc... so him not paying them has resulted in his license being suspended. What I dont understand is why doesn't the authorities get him when he speeds around in any of his vehicles he has?

When Kody softens his voice to fake compassion and then introduces a false narrative about her dad, is a screenshot of their entire relationship. He wants Christine to question everything she knows to be true so he can gain control.
Totally agree! I think Robyn got sick of living in Las Vegas where people could watch and see that he was at her house all the time. Getting the other wife’s money I think was an additional perk (I believe they were running out of money and needed to cash out to keep Robyn happy). I knew when I watched that season that this was a very calculated move with Kody and Robyn. I think Janelle should sue them and demand her money back, or threaten to write a tell all🧐

Isolation and control being the main motivators for Kody to move the family to (Red)Flagstaff makes a lot of sense. It also explains why he lost his sh*t (a very un-stoic thing to do), when his one chain for many necks, sorry, one house for many wives fell through. He now is having to take the advice he once told the wives "Suck it up Buttercup".
Flagstaff is not red. Because of the university it is quite a liberal town. Arizona is purple. And, a swing state.

Well after hearing why Cody moved them to AZ I’m glad to see his plan totally backfired with 3 of his wives leaving him (and one already remarried).
Kody never supported anyone, the wife's supported him.
And then he brought his selfish mistress home so the wives could pay for her too. So gross 🤢.
Kody screwed up. He really didn't care if the wives left, but he needed to make sure they left broke. He took his name off Christine's deed, and Meri was able to buy the B&B. The only one he was able to completely rob was Janelle.
I truly believe he believed the women would keep their faith. In the beginning hectored to Lord that over them. And so did Robyn by saying they needed to go thru the church first to be able to leave. But Kody took them away from church and community. He shot himself in the foot. If they were around their leaders, they would have kept the faith and redirected to their husband Kody.

There was no water lines, no electric lines, no gas lines or means for propane. Nothing was close to their land. It was going to take a lot of money to have that done. Kody is never going to build there. If I were Janelle and Meri, I’d sell my portion and move on. If that’s even possible.

I agree the show needs to be canceled. Although Kody and Robyn are sick people, the other wives aren’t much better … don’t forget, they played into this charade and even though they’ve left Kody, they continue this charade of deception on the viewers for money. He’s one of the only reality stars I know that doesn’t have a team ABC Versus a team 123 fan base, for a generic example. There’s no “team wives” or “team Kody” on social media that I’ve EVER seen. People don’t even have to say that they’re team wives because that’s just a given. I’ve never even seen a comment that supported Kody. Not in one single situation or clip.

I think Janelle always worked outside the home. Meri did, too, until she was fired, allegedly because of the show, we were told. Christine was the in-home "caretaker", as I recall. And Kody? It seems he has dabbled in this and that, much of it illegal, or in bvb a legal gray area. And now Kody's main, or only income is from the show. He and Robyn need Meri, Janelle and Christine much more than they need him.
And she knows it. Janelle didn’t mind Kodys absence. She liked how things were until it was effecting her kids. With Garrison's death, the mostly disingenuous way the producers edit the footage and the lack of reprisal to K&R for the hurt, pain and damage that they have caused to so many, I am not sure if I will continue watching this show. I hope something changes next season. I don't know if K&R are capable of growth, but they don't deserve to be cuddled by the producers. The damage is so vast.
Please stop supporting TLC, all of their shows are extremely predatory and unethical. I watched the first season of this show and after that I stuck with recap videos on TH-cam. That way I can keep up with what's happening without helping TLC increase profits. The producers are guilty of watching this abuse happen and did *nothing to stop it.* RIP Garrison.

I don't know how TLC receives revenue from viewers, though I assume they do. And, of course the cast is paid, now independently from Kody. Meri, Janelle and Christine, and I've heard, David, have made the decision to stick with the show. Even for the benefit of their bank accounts, I won't watch.
Im a firm believer he only did the move to weasel money out of all of the women from their vegas homes. He had dreams of gradour and had a crazed look when they were having the "where we go one, we go all" conversation. Why they all went along with it is beyond me. Christine was the only one that was smart and made him buy her a house first in flagstaff.

The move from Vegas was all about getting his hands on the equity. We know now that Christine was considered leaving back then. He was on Meri’s title, but they divorced, so he would probably only be able to lay claim to half. No claim to Janelle’s property, questionable to Robin’s. He realized he had less than all of them in assets. He got them all to move fast, so they couldn’t think it out, and ended up with his name on EVERYTHING. That was the reason for the move. He just screwed up with signing off on Christine’s house. And, he was pissed when he realized that.
Kody would have never signed off on Christine's house if:
1) Robyn hadn't been complaining about his name on everyone's homes to the extent it was hindering her house sale,
2) he never thought Christine would leave! (He figured she'd stay like Meri did).

I wonder how come TLC can show these extended scenes in foreign markets but can't show it in American markets. Is that some type of clause The Kodster has added for American markets? Is he demanding they don't show him and Sobyn in unfavorable lights? I would not be shocked to hear it was a demand from the unscrupulous duo. I'm so happy that Katie has the drive to watch these different versions over and over to dig up these glaring examples of just how corrupt and conniving The Kodster and Sobyn really are. They rented at first for months. And had there stuff in rental trucks on the land for months. They were probably spending over 5 or 6 thousand a month just to be in the mansion. That money was all of theirs. Plus he was buying paintings and jewelry. Janelle said she saw money being spent frivolously. But no one says anything, that we saw.
My husband and I grew up in a neighborhood in Salt Lake with a polygamous family and went to school with 2 of the daughters. No one that I can recall ever bullied them. They were very sweet and quiet. Katie, you hit the nail on the head with the lies Grody and Sobbin are spreading and perpetuating.

Agree. This behavior of isolating wife and kids from family and friends is very common with active alcoholics. Keeping everyone off balancer, pitting one against another and leaving lots of broken hearts and souls. And we did not hear all the conversation(s) that must have taken place where Kody pretended agreed to try out or seriously think about Utah. But this all shows her just gaslight her. Thats why she was so and devistated. Lucky. For she didn't trust him all the way and bought her own home.

The uneducated boys from the Warren Jeff's group worked in construction here in San Angelo while they lived 45 minutes away in their Eldorado compound. They were Mere Children. My husb. has owned a construction co. since 1983. It was just sad! They Never made eye contact & never had food at lunchtime... on the jobs they worked... contracted by W. Jeff. The customers were never satisfied with the work, & my husb. & others had to re-do the shotty work.
The sad thing was of the two choices given to the 12-17 year old boys this was probably the better choice. The other choice was to be forced out with nothing and be shunned from family, friends, and the only life they ever knew.

I used to think the move was purely for Dayton and Robyn. But after rewatching, Robyn straight up tells the cameras that Kody came to her with this info a whole YEAR prior to telling the other wives. He tells his only real wife what he wants to do, they secretly plan and work towards it (get Dayton into college), then when it can’t be put off anymore, he presents the idea that he and his true wife have decided on to the rest of the group. I’m sure Robyn also wanted the move, as she states that living in Vegas was so horrible of an idea for her growing up. But I think the real motivation was Kody’s itch for newer, greener pastures, and the reasons laid out in this video.
I still think Kody is a dingbat. I can’t remember the season, but the scene where Robyn tells him to go over to Christine’s and get his sweatpants so he can go for a run or something, tells me all I need to know about Kody being led around by his junk, by Robyn. Christine, Janelle, and Meri were all shadowed and led by “religion” in the past. They are all strong, smart women who have seen the light on all of it. Kody is still a dingbat who can’t even keep his thoughts and word vomit in check.

He wanted to be able to control the equity of the homes. It was about the money 1,000 %. I believe he knew that there was going to be splits and they had those homes and would legally be able to take the equity so he moved them and made them put all of the equity into "the family".

I am so happy that the three wives finally saw what he really is. I have been married to someone like that and divorced him as soon as I was able to save the money for an attorney. I saw all the red flags during the first season of watching the show. But, my heart breaks for Jannell, Garrison, and the rest of the family that truly loved Garrison. I hope the three wives that left will find the peace, happiness, FREEDOM, and JOY they all so desperately need. May God Bless and Protect them always!

They should have taken time to really find close locations for the og3! they already planned on mcmansion! Having all the wives separated by miles and school districts was K&R plan

No real job that we've ever seen. I listened to another YTer read their entire book and based on their own words, basically, he's never held a long term job. He went from his parents to a 2 yr mission to marriage. Him and Meri used to just quit jobs to go do whatever. The "stability" income-wise came when he married Janelle and she held it down mostly financially. He seems to have job hopped

Yes they do! I believe Dayton wanted to go far away. Robyn(helicopter mom) and Kody checked it out. I believe they decided to push Flagstaff bc of its remoteness. Narcs love to get u away from any support system. It was all diabolically planned.

Being Australian I obviously watch the version you are looking up clips for. I believe he moved from Vegas because he knew he wanted all the wives to leave and it would be uncomfortable if some kept their house next to him and Robyn. I think he wanted a fresh start with Robyn and let's not forget Dayton was accepted to go to college before they moved (closer to Flagstaff) and knowing Robyn she would have wanted to move their to be closer to him. Hypocrisy at its finest. When Christine brought up moving to Utah Robyn's face and body language changed completely and she was the most reluctant to entertain the idea even though she has lots of family there.
