I make this often and its really great! Put the olive oil in after everything else has been processed though, to stop it going bitter.
anchioves add a great smokey flavor - this sounds great

I’m going to give this a try with sun dried tomatoes instead of the lemon. I’ll let you all know how it goes.
So I followed this recipe substituting the lemon for a few sun dried tomatoes and it was fine.
Quite a rich sauce though but no overly fishy or garlicky.
Worked well with wholewheat spaghetti.
Will definitely give it another go

@@shaz2868 just be careful of the amount of oil you use. The sun dried tomatoes and anchovies that I used were in jars with oil preservative

She ages like everyone else. She just has money for various cosmetic procedures, not to mention good lighting, camera angles, professional stylists, hair and makeup artists.
@@theprousteffect9717she seems to have had a fair bit of surgical assistance, in fact. I find she looks oddly distorted after about 2005 or 2010. Something-and I can’t quite put my finger on it-is off.
Add capers and crushed red pepper to those exact same ingredients and you would have a delicious puttanesca sauce.
Puttanesca is a tomato based sauce (my favorite:)
I thought capers would be great here!
It doesn't look as creamy as yours but I imagine with some practice I'd get it right. I added crushed red pepper and a little bit of Asiago cheese. It's wonderful!

my god...I made the sauce tonight......it was a lemony, nutty, delicious mix of DAMN.....thank you for sharing this recipe!!!!! I also added a handful of fresh basil, some red chili flakes, and a small toss of capers (in oil) on the side.....it was delicious....

i just made this pasta but accidentally used sardines instead of anchovies, i still have yet to taste hopefully it still tastes good.
Sardines taste better than anchovies tho
@@erenjaeger9902 It was really good, i ate it all. Just make sure to use the sardines with the lemon flavor in it otherwise i think the fishy smell will be overpowering.
