As an aspiring chef wanting to specialize in italian cooking and pasta in particular, thank you for all the knowledge and skills you share! Its a treat every time you post
I’ve been cooking along time and this man’s dishes are simple, fresh and delicious, as authentic Italian food should be, “beautiful simplicity “. If you happen to speak Italian , he is also quite funny…
Oh man, I LOVE ALIA OLIA!! Especially with Anchovies!!!! One of my FAVORITES!! I am 100% Italian!! I never knew my Grandfather's but I like to imagine that they would be just like Pasquale!!! And, listening to him speak in his broken English, also reminds me of my Nonny...the ONLY 1 knew!! I LOVE HIM!!
Pasquale, Your videos are the only ones that my mother and I watch together, and it brings back great memories from the old country! We love you, and keep doing your beautiful work! Much love, and keep these videos flowing!
Pasquale, this was always my favorite peasant dish!!! My mother told me that this was served to just the immediate family.......I use alot of garlic as I love garlic and also my familiar used Locatelli Romano grated cheese which I also love.........my mother put a new twist on this dish by using spring macaroni instead of spaghetti and using broccoli!!!! That way is also delishes!!!! This brings back wonderful memories when my parents were here. Thank You for letting me remember.........you are a sweetheart ❤️
This is exactly the way I make mine! It's one of my favorite things to cook. Garlic, anchovies, capers, parsley, and Parmesan. Red pepper flakes and crushed black pepper too of course.
That is my favorite I we use red peper Flakes and enough til the oil takes on a redish color then we service it with imported Romano cheese while its hot man its the Best I like your channel make more pasta dish we need to go back to basic share your favorite Pasta brands thank you for what you do
Very good sir. As I never followed a recipe in my life, I made the following change: fried separately in cast iron some mushrooms. Also sliced Spanish olives stuffed with anchovies and added it. Apart from that it was as shown in your excellent and entertaining video. I only did the mushrooms because they were in the fridge for too long and needed to be used. But the overall result is excellent. The salty anchovies and capers and chili combine very well with a glass of Chianti. Next time I will add some tuna from a can….
Hello my friend, I no talk to you for some time, I had a little health and work problem, but now get a little better, especially now since I eat this Beautiful Dish! I gotta nice little bottle of Anchovies in olio from Lidl Supermarket that was on sale and I bought a couple... So Good, nice and not to big, tender, thank you for sharing this nice recipe with me and take care, I want to make your Chicken Picata next! Salute!
Chef, you blew my mind in the video where you canned homemade sauce and squeezed the seeds and clear juice out of the Roma tomatoes. You are one of my favorite chefs, and what your doing on TH-cam is a treasure. May God bless you!
Delicious Thank you for sharing pasquale have a blessed day stay safe and healthy. I'm going to make this for dinner tonight I have all ingredients in my pantry. Yummy 🙏❤🙏❤
Yes, this is a traditional Christmas Eve dish growing up in our family as well. It's the only time I eat it because I don't want to ruin the "special" that this dish is to me. Memories!
Pasquale, this was a Friday night dish for us growing up. My mother after mixing the oil with the pasta would cook a couple of eggs in the frying pan and put them on top of our spaghetti, one for each of us.
Hey Pasquale! You forgot the marinaded artichoke hearts. Love this dish with anchovies and capers, but the artichoke hearts really complete it. Who makes your range/stove? Looking for something like that. I’ve been watching you for years. I love your passion and love for food in the Italian way. Thanks for being you! God bless you and stay well!
