      It's a beautiful ride, it's definitely different looking than a few of the other SUV's in it's class right now. I really want to give them credit for making something with an interesting design, it's a hard thing to do in the SUV space nowadays. Thank you for watching!

    Not sold on the 4 cylinder they’re putting in this and all its GM cousins but it’s a much improved look inside and out!

      Considering it’s only 200cc’s smaller, you think they would’ve just used the 2.7L out of the Silverado in its low output format (310hp/348lb.ft.) and then it would’ve been one more way for them to save money because they’d be making less engine variations for their models. The low output 2.7L in my Silverado has been running great overall, up to 48k miles now. I agree with you on this, we’ll see how it is over time, thank you for watching!

      I can’t agree more, this is a pretty over the top design for what we normally wouldn’t think of as an exciting SUV to look at, I love this new look! Thank you for watching again jrod!

    Another great Video Ceal,,, Thank you Much. My comment though is... with the enormous amounts of money these vehicles ( All makes ) cost these days, I think its a total Slap in the face to ' Charge ' for subscriptions like Google maps... Thats just WRONG on every level... its called GREED !

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Subscriptions are the new money maker, it’s hard to think of a company that doesn’t have some form of a subscription. It’s easy to see why they tempt corporations, a lot of people start a trial, forget to cancel until months later, it is easy to do so I think they’re capitalizing on that and some other factors. Plus they don’t really have to offer a tangible good when you subscribe to the service, they just flip your account on. I think it’s interesting for sure. Thank you for the kind words as always and thanks for watching another one of my videos!

    16:23, there actually IS a slider bar that appears to let you know the volume level. I have seen it appear on mine.

      This one may have had a glitch that wasn’t showing it. It is the first year of this radio system in this new Traverse, so it may be a bit buggy. Thank you for the confirmation, I’m going to check the Traverse RS when I review that soon. Thank you for watching!

  • @angelogarciajr5356

    Nice review. So do you drive in rear wheel drive, then put it in awd when needed? Too bad you did not put the back seats down to get an idea of making a bed and camping gear storage. Lastly, I prefer the Bose system that is available but I cant seem to find a traverse with bose on any lots? Wth. Thx

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@angelogarciajr5356 Yes, most of the time I’m imagining it will be running in front-wheel drive and when you engage AWD, it should engage the rear wheels only when needed, at least that’s how most AWD setups in this class work if I’m not mistaken. I do have good coverage of the backseat space/folded down space you can expect in this new GM platform on my Acadia Denali review. I’ve only seen the Bose on Acadia/Enclave so far. I’m guessing the Bose will be available on the 2025 Traverse, as I’ve heard they’re bringing back the High Country name plate for Traverse. Thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching!

    • @angelogarciajr5356
      @angelogarciajr5356 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I called Chevrolet and you can get the Bose by ordering the 3500 dollar for super cruise and bose is in that package. Looks like few dealer's have added that package so none on the lots seem to have bose besides the RS

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@angelogarciajr5356 Oh man, yeah sometimes it is frustrating to have everything packaged together. It would be nice if Super Cruise was its own stand-alone package. That would make more sense, but it wouldn’t be as cost effective for them. Betting it will be standard on the High Country trim. Should be standard on the RS trim for how much it costs really.

      Chevrolet helped me today to locate a 2024 traverse z71 with the extra package that includes Bose they found 1 50 miles from me in red. I want white. The next one any color with bose is 300 miles away. They said I can order one but takes 6 months. I am now shopping for something. Too bad. I love that z71.

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @angelogarciajr5356 Hey man a 5-hour drive ain’t too bad for the 300 miles. Make a couple day trip out of it, and by the time you get home you’ll know the car inside and out. I’m definitely making a trip for my next car/truck, it’s the only way I can ever find what I’m looking for buying pre-owned. 😂

    Hi, I have a question in order to get the goggle map do I have to pay in all the trim levels? even for the RS trim? I thought it came included

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It is built into every trim model but in order to keep it activated you must pay the $25 a month to keep Google services active. This has taken place of true, built-in navigation. However, you can still use your Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to mirror your phone’s maps to the car radio like you have been able to do in past Acadias. I hope this helps, thank you for watching!

    We were interested in the Traverse but not with a turbo 4 cylinder, V6 only for a vehicle this heavy. Turbo say the engine is too small so they pressurize the small engine to make it seem like it has more power. GM can't leave well enough alone. Lost this customer.

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does move it pretty well, but I am on your side. I still want the V6 as at least an option. Even if I have to drop a few grand for it, please just make it an option! Thank you for watching!

    • @billyvision1360
      @billyvision1360 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Totally agree with you! These vehicles come with a short expiration date!!! These turbos are going to eventually cause the engine to fail and the consumer will be left with major repair bills!!$$$$ A 4 cylinder engine is not powerful enough for a car this heavy!!!

  • @billyvision1360
    @billyvision1360 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I would only lease this car for 2-3 years and get rid of it before the turbo and engine fail…which is going to happen!

    What would you go with now that you have reviewed both? The Traverse or the Acadia? In the 50k price range

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      After driving both, I would go with the Traverse. I like the dash setup and radio setup better than the Acadia. I also think the exterior design is a little cooler, especially on this Z71 base model which can be had for about the same price as an Acadia Elevation. I liked the interior on the Traverse better as a whole over the Acadia. Thank you for watching!

      Telling you how it FEELS, not comparing stats. I spent a lot of time in the last generation Traverse and to me, this new generation does have a slimmer feel inside the interior. Just my opinion, everyone may have a different feel when they get in and drive it. Thank you for watching!

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I do agree, I probably would opt for leather strictly for the look, although I presume the cloth seats are still probably more comfortable than the leather. The leather would take the Z71 trim look to a whole new level though. I think even with the cloth seats shown here, this has to be one of the coolest looking new SUV’s sub-$50k.
