Explorer ST P3 Gauge Install

- Installed this super clean and super modern gauge for the explorer ST today, you can see a ton of different data off the gauge including, boost, afr, iats, coolant temp, 0-60 times, ignition timing, rpm’s and even speed. Ordered mine today! - looking forward to having transmission temps. 20,000 miles I had the 10R60 hard shifting from 7 to 6th gear. Snap ring cane off. Ford completed the repair at no cost but stated my clutch plates had all overheated. Trying to avoid damage to this repaired transmission. Do you have any idea what the normal fluid temp range should be on 10R60 transmission? Or where I might find that info?
You need to talk them into showing the fuel level percentage!
That would be nice honestly I know you can buy the accessories to show fuel content
Do you leave this plugged into the obd port at all times. Does it draw battery when off?
Yeah I just leave it plugged in and no sir it does not draw battery it shuts off when you turn the car off 😁
Can it read ethonal content
Yes sir it can if you select that option
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks so all you need is the fuel it sensor then
@williamdukowitz4431 there are a few options on their website you should be able to select the option to read ethanol content and get everything needed to do so with the gauge 😁

@pooleo8 but then you have a big ugly device in your hand or laying around this is a good clean way to see a few different parameters
Fair. Another downside another device....no where to mount it😕. I use ezlynk in my f150 with a old phone for a display. It works great but also has a hand hold that I could bolt a mount to.
My plati expo offers nothing. I'd say this device should be around the 250 range. It's essentially just a scanguage 🤔🤷♂️
Yeah I agree unfortunately all the software and devices are hand made and software is proprietary to the the 3 guys who run/own the business
