I put the Red Line struts on my hood so no more prop rod. I also added the J&L oil separator as well as a K&N air filter. Carbon fiber to my console and doors. Black ST emblems to the front and rear and the same package for the cup holders except they have red highlights. I look to add the Borla Exhaust soon. I also have the ST seat belt shoulder pads.

I put red St branded gas and brake pedals I also have the red and black cover over my center console but mine just slips over perfectly more like a super tight shower cap with no strap under the lid also it has explorer branded on it, I also switched out the top tray in the center console to a full-size tray and it’s also a much sturdier plastic, I got a knock off brand from weather tech but just as good mats in the back and beneath everyone’s feet, I have the same seatbelt pads and I have an ST branded steel plate up front and Ford performance license plate cover in the back, I got the Whipple inter cooler, spd downpipes, fe cold air intake, zFG tune e50 and 93, Thule roof rack mounted to the stock roof rails knn air filter snd I think that’s it
I put gas hood struts from Red Line Tuning on mine. Took 30 minutes and I threw away the factory rod. You're right - If I'm spending 60 Gs on an Explorer, it should come with struts. Weather Tech for the win - the lip around the edge of that cargo tray makes it all perfect.
My Ford Dealership does not care much. They see a lot of custom work. If you are good at doing that sort of thing you can do it yourself for sure. I had Meineke do it for me. They even used their shop truck to run the stock exhaust home to my house....The thing is HUGE!!
@ClayDog I've had Borlas on 2 of my previous Mustang Gt's. A '13 and a '14. Borla is the best! I'm looking at the Explorer ST. I like it. It may be my last big auto purchase. I'm not getting any younger.😄

@@claydog6422 yep, even layed on the ground in 18 degrees temp to look at as much underneath as I could see. Only thing on outside that bothered me was the O in explorer on the hood looked crooked to me. Sales guy said that was the most ocd thing a customer had ever pointed out to him. Lol

You have to think of cars like your laptop. You have to do updates. GPS needs to be updated all the time. But we know that does not happen. Roads change and things get built so you want to make sure you have the current GPS loaded.

You hardly get any deals on cars now. And the wait is forever!! Took 1 year for my wife to get her Bronco Sport Badlands. Also on your ST if you have the captain's chairs they do not include that cup holder thing in the middle.
This is not a Bentley. Ford has cheap plastic everywhere on the inside of the car. The 2020 ST got ripped for all the cheap cabin look. They tried to fix it in the 2021 but only changed a few things.
@@claydog6422 I'm talking about the stuff you bought, like the red plastic cover for the ignition button, shifter dial, seatbelt pads, and center console cover. That stuff makes the interior look cheesy as f**k. I wouldn't be surprised if you added a spoiler on the back, because it looks like you're trying to rise out your ST. there is a point of going too far, where it starts to look bad.......just saying.
@@kwagner694 It is not plastic. It is all metal. The color matches the breaks on the outside and the ST on the inside. Gives a little color to the inside. Ebony is the only color interior that Ford likes to sell.
@@claydog6422 oh yah. On trade the dealer gave me slightly more than I paid for it. In Canada vehicles over $60,000 are taxed at....wait for it.....15%. But on a trade only on the difference in price . So with the tax shielding, I got somewhat more than it cost me new, in 2019. Never seen that before in my life, likely never will again. Buy low sell high.

My Wife's Edge Sport his hood struts but not the Explorer...Unreal...My wife ordered a Baby Bronco, wonder if Ford puts hood struts on them?

You can order a strut kit for the hood from Steeda. $120ish. Also Emblem City for changing your emblem colors, if you ever wanted.

I have the exact same rattling speaker on the passenger door hahaha, some times it does and others it doesn’t
It is hard to pinpoint what it is doing. I even thought if someone got in the vehicle to door closing would fix until the door was opened again.

Just picked up an ST last week, so far the lack of hood struts is my biggest pet peave.
Did you go over the whole vehicle and make sure there were no scratches or paint issues?

For the camera its just a software update that's it half hour to an hour to do it

Roof racks did not come with the vehicle. You can order it without. Exhaust is through Borla. Find a dealer in Canada that would be cheapest.
