Meryl - "DON'T MOVE... so you killed the chief... you bastard... Liquid!? No, you're not." Liquid - "Have at you SNAKE!" Makes me really want a Liquid Snake game.
I was born in 98 and played MGS2 in 03. This was the 3rd mgs game I played and solidified what I wanted to do in life and I've accomplished that. Sometimes I would ask myself "what would solid snake do"?

Damn, if there is a single game I'd love to see remade for the current console generation, it is MGS1. Even if the gameplay has aged, the story was so far ahead of its time and so damn good that it still holds up today.
The first time I played I failed the torture test as I had stopped pressing circle towards the end of each cycle. I was quite upset with Meryls passing and was pleased to know there is an ending where she lives.
Seeing this the first time, I was thinking *"WTF? he survived the helicopter crash, the wrecked metal gear, the fall off of that same metal gear which was confirmed as fatal, getting shot a bunch of times, the car wreck here and he's STILL coming? is this guy the fkking terminator or something?"* so when it was revealed that Liquid was the supreme brother of the project designed to be even better than the perfect soldier I was honestly not surprised. It made total sense, and it explained why it took FOXDIE to finally bring him down.

Two buffed men wrestling. "Better hurry, it's going to blow!"
"This nuclear module is set to detonate at the precise moment of her [remembers to breathe] death."
I know it's meant to be a dramatic pause, but come on.
3:01 this is disappointment .
after hearing you out of time 1000th time i officially lost my mind
Holy shit snake, u give meryl to much hope... In mgs 2 you'll just gonna left her and start a bromance with otacon
The OG PS1 version's controls in this fight were maddening and this was using the dual shock. I summoned the rage of old beating that fight. How did I do it 25 years ago ill never know. Time for part 2.
-Christmas Day 2023
The thing I like about Liquid boss is that it is'nt hard, it was fun and challenging.
Damn, if there is a single game I'd love to see remade for the current console generation, it is MGS1. Even if the gameplay has aged, the story was so far ahead of its time and so damn good that it still holds up today.
Man I remember playing this game… but not being able to go to TH-cam for tips!
liquid died so fast HE didnt even have time for a sob story. doubt he had one anyway
I swear, you have to be a damn quantum physics major to understand these hitboxes
To this day the first PS1 game I ever played and beat
I Wish they'd do a remaster games sent this good anymore! Its all download pay to play it seems
The first time I played I failed the torture test as I had stopped pressing circle towards the end of each cycle. I was quite upset with Meryls passing and was pleased to know there is an ending where she lives.
This game is absolute perfection.

What you hear: 10:02
What I hear:
Liquid:hey yo snake it’s not over yet
Snake: likid
More like; "likwid".
that post gave me FOXDIE
So this is the ending if maryl lives and hal dies.. I finished the game where hal lived and meryl died..
Hal lives in the two endings
I just love that Uh oh makes me crack everytime
Gardon le en souvenir dit Solid Snake le légendaire.

Liquid:SNAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!! I’M GONNA KEEP WHINING AT YOU UNTILL YOU LIKE IT!!!
I kinda liked Liquid, but he was a little annoying and he always mocks Snake.
