Yep, this deserves a sub. From the great voice acting sticking to their personalities to the low res footage. It was like i seeing a real cutscene from this game.
It really feels like If Kojima had just learned new facts about revolvers and wanted to say it in a game
Even the lights at the beginning look like a revolver cylinder
Came here for the revolvering. Was not disappointed.
The transition to live action footage related to the conversation absolutely sold this. Great work!
Liquid: "Also, if you only have one hand, how do you reload it?"
Ocelot: "I throw it away and pull out another one."
That actually felt like it had the same pacing as a long winded cutscene.
I had the exact same "Can I please go back to being tortured with electricity now??" feeling that I had during the original game's long-winded Ocelot dialog! 😆
I know everyone else has already said this, but the FMV stock footage really is what separates the good MGSposts from the great.
1:59 Oh, you better believe I noticed that detail of the audio cutting off ever so slightly too early for the sake of accuracy.
I adore how excited old man Ocelot is with his cowboy weebery.
Its actually called westbery. People who idolise america, american culture and westerns are known as westaboos. Like how weeaboos do the same with japanese culture
That would be westerbry, no? He's a westaboo.
he's like a fun grandpa.

When she tries to take your revolver
MAN THIS CHANNEL IS SO AWESOME, THANK YOU SO MUCH
The 2 second pause and cut to black in between the in game cutscene and the live action montage. Chef's kiss 👌
Oh my goodness, that cutscene transition is so satisfying. It's literally dead on accurate to the game. This video is a perfect 10 out of 10 because of that.
This really looks a legit scene from the game. Well done.
Bro, that transition to low res footage and Liquid giving the exposition on Revolvers. Its perfect , Peak MGS!
Ocelot: "You with your daddy issues!"
Also Ocelot: *uses a Revolver because his idol and favorite human being told him to and stopped using an engraved Revolver because his idol and favorite human being told him it has no adventage*
Metal Gear Revolver:
Revolvengeance
My god this is way to accurate, like the revolverrrrr.
That felt like an actual cutscene it was perfect and hilarious.
How did you get the voice acting so... Spot-on!?
It can't be!
Guess we found potential VA candidates for the rumored MGS1 remake

Snake: "...Did they finally make a revolver that can be equipped with a suppressor?"
Liquid: "The Revolver is kind of overrated, isn't it?"
Ocelot: "Bold words for someone in Revolving distance."
Everything about this is so well crafted. Beautiful.
The Indiana Jones footage 😂😂😂
2:11 love that anger stomp
I thought the reason why he likes revolvers because he tends to twist his elbow to absorb the recoil.
I saw the title in the Game Theory "Why YT feels boring" and couldn't resist, good job!
This looks so much like a MGS1 cut scene that this is now canon in my mind. Fantastic work, I'm totally blown away by the fact you used the actual 3D models and scene. And Liquid's little movie clip explanation thing just added to the authenticity!
1:27 Also forgot to mention that both are heavily associated with quickdraws.
You can clearly see that this was made by someone who is deep love with the series, especially the first game. The attention to details is amazing, even the slight sound effects are on point.
He doesn't ROMANTICIZE THE REVOLVER, he sexualizes it. First time he reloads, he talks about how he enjoys it, and proceeds to say that "there's nothing like putting a long silver bullet into a well oiled chamber"
I've not played the actual game, is this at all like a real current cut scene? Up until 00:18 I thought it might be a real cut scene.
No
