- Today was probably one of the wildest days Ive ever seen in Grand Isle. George, James, and I decided to hit up Elmer's Island. We all had to catch 100 fish a piece .The shrimp were running from the seagulls and trout. The trout were running from porpus, sharks, and pelicans. It was one of the best times Ive had fishing in a long time, right now is the time to get out there and go catch some fish guys and girl. Absolutely phenomenal fishing taking place on Elmer’s Island. One thing I must say conditions was perfect. Clean water down the whole stretch. Light Westerly winds, tide movement,tons of bait. Be mobile n you will catch a mess. Be prepared an you will enjoy yourself

Capt Cooyons comment was spot on! Man I enjoyed the hell out of this trip this morning and talk about some non stop action, I could of caught two at a time all morning on dbl rigs but i couldnt neglect my topwater water action! Doug you made a awesome last munute decision last night to make this trip this morning. Getting to meet James today was cool too and hes a pretty damn good fisherman to say the least he held his own all morning and i look forward to our next trip. Awesome job with this video i feel like its one of the best that you put together so far! Lol poor silly Dilly!

my31and37 this was summer time ... I fish in Gulfport sometimes my uncle caught a 8.5 speck off a pier there a while back

Do you use a chest mount or head mount for your go pro. I wanna bring one out there this year but concerned about the waves crashing with a chest mount.
