Surf Fishing Grand Isle

Heres a little video from the first few trips I made down to Grand Isle with my wife and two friends, Shawn Deshotel and Corey Blue. We used mostly Matrix Shads in Green Hornet and Shrimp Creole along with a few other shrimp style baits and even some suspending baits. Water color did not matter much as you can see, it goes from chocolate milk to crystal clear as we were fishing. Hope you enjoy and remember to like and subscribe if you would like to see more.

Any tips for someone new to surf fishing grand isle?

The main thing I find that helps when learning to fish the surf is locating bait and a good tide. Clean water helps as well, but as you can see in some parts of this video, you can catch a bunch of nice trout in some really gross water if their food source is there and tide forcing them to feed at that time.
