yo ana why in my case bend curve points appears in a weird position like not aligned in height more like in width. Edit - gizmo was rotated in the wrong angle my bad.
Short simple and to the point. I love that you also showed 95% of the work that went into making these horns rather than skipping around as so many others have done. Excellent tutorial! And if this is just the first, I'm excited to explore what else you've done since making this
I know your comment is very old but in case somebody else needs the answer: The other segments are masked, so you need to remove the mask, you can do that by going to Tool -> Masking -> Clear
Very nice tutorial, thank you! Wanted to say that I appreciate you going so slow and clicking on stuff on the interface instead of rapid-firing hotkeys like a lot of other instructors.
The brilliant thing about this tutorial is the way you took the time to explain and also gave away great Zbrush features while doing it, I wasn't even looking for this and I love how helpful this is, thank you so much :) Will tag you if I get to make a decent horn :P
amazing video with a lot of neat tricks for ZBrush! I can see a lot of different things to make with this technique! Thank You! You just got a new subscriber!
I think this is far more simpler for use than what I've been doing when creating a tail Basically instead of duplicating a shape I would create IMM Brush and then place the shape along the curve At time it would confuse the hell out of me.. and in the end the result would be the same as this workflow
@@AnaCarolinaArt I wonder, how would you approach something like deer antlers? I was creating earlier on some sort of deeragon and best I thought of was just going wild with snake hooks brush I guess you could do it like this but as a multiple individual horns?
Loved it! Congrats on your first video! I liked your tips and trick kind of approach that can be used for lots of situations (not only for horns) rather than an structured one that has to be followed exactly to obtain good results. I also like how you give freedom to the viewer to try what they like rather than obtaining the exact result you had. More videos that simplify the process of doing organic structures like this one would be great! (rather than sculpting everything by hand). Keep it up!
Awesome first tutorial, you have such a nice way of showing off how you work on things! Can’t wait to see more tutorials, really appreciate the great insight!!
fabulous work! This will also help me make other things that i can later make into a spiral. Thank you so much Ana, your work is both astonishing and inspiring
When I first learned this technique (from Glenn Patterson), it totally changed the way I created horns. I thought I knew everything that you were going to say (as it was the same technique as Glenn's) but you proved me totally wrong by introducing the use of the spiral brush! What a great idea! I have never found any real practical use for the spiral brush but now I have one! Thank you. BTW, you will drive yourself nuts if you try to reply to everyone's comment (as you have done here; well, almost all... lol) All the best. PS. Have you ever considered sculpting a complete Banshee from Avatar? I've watched the ZBrush LIVE one where you did the head and I'd love to see you do the rest (it's an awesome creature). Just a suggestion (as a long tutorial; obviously not possible in a tips and tricks format as you have here)..... :)
Never great when you have go watch another tutorial to figure out how to follow this one...great apart from that, but at the start would be good to explain what you mean by append, and how resize an object
Hope you all enjoyed my first tutorial! Post your requests for further tutorials bellow ⬇⬇⬇⬇

I'm glad they do!!
At 3:31, it goes from just the top segment selected to all of them. How to do this?
I know your comment is very old but in case somebody else needs the answer: The other segments are masked, so you need to remove the mask, you can do that by going to Tool -> Masking -> Clear

@@NikolaNiKucu Normally I'd use Zspheres for the base, then def the spiral brush if applicable
@@AnaCarolinaArt Oh lol.. I forgot about Zspheres, yeah
Very useful channel, thank you
Brilliant. Glad to see you have your own channel 🤗

I dragged out the horn but I cant unselect the the tip of the horn, what key did you press to select all the copies?

Ajudou muito e ainda deu pra aprender uns comandos novos D:
Que maravilha!!
ótimas dicas, mto bom esse vídeo, parabéns Ana^^👏
Obrigada :)
Great technique! My taper doesnt work on the entire set of clones unfortunately. Am I missing something maybe?
Oh nvm. I just had to unmask and taper it!
Why isn't my last segment fusing to the rest? It stays lighter and then is the only piece that will taper
Olá. Gosto muito dos seus vídeos, você tem algo em português?
Incrível!
