    Well this explains why Pike is so devoted to the Everlight.
    Pike's greatest action thus far is helping redeem Grog. And Pike's characters arc in Season 1 is about her being honest with herself.

    Man I was just out here enjoying your Faerun pantheon videos and now you’re doing my other favorite fictional pantheon it seems? I’m here for it

    I just hit level 10 as a cleric of Sarenrae in Abomination Vaults, I’ve really enjoyed playing a classic do-gooder wielding healing and holy flames.

    My favorite Pathfinder god, and the one I chose for my aasimar cavalier for wrath of the righteous

    Awesome video! Love the art too! One of your best pieces, IMO.
    This, like your Iomedae video, is really helpful as an intro into the Pathfinder Pantheon.
    I love how although Sarenrae encourages evildoers to repent and offers redemption to those who do, she still is wise enough to recognise abject evil and see that some beings are beyond repentance and redemption.
    I find that idea that "all villains and evildoers are just misunderstood and acting out because of a tragedy in their past and so it's always possible to redeem them" to be really shallow and over-simplistic, almost as much as saying "all villains and evildoers must be punished; no redemption ever!"
    I'm glad to see a greater level of nuance in the deity who's portfolio and tenets include redemption.

    Great video, I hope you'll bring more PF lore! I expecially liked that you didn't limited yourself to read some info but to give your impression on what can be a good way to spark some roleplay scenes!

      Perspective is very important and I think providing that to other GMs can get them thinking on their own interpretations :) thanks so much I really appreciate it

    I've not played any tabletop Pathfinder, but have played Pathfinder: Kingmaker and some of Wrath of the Righteous. The characters I played in both games were worshippers, but not Clerics, of Sarenrae. I had intended a replay of Kingmaker as a Cleric of Sarenrae named Saren, and she was going to be a Cleric of the Everlight, but after deciding to play another game, I bought and eventually started Wrath and wound up rebuilding the character I finished Kingmaker with. Maybe if despite the improvements Wrath made over Kingmaker I decide to replay Kingmaker for its story, I'll make Saren and her kingdom will be one that actively worships Sarenrae.

    Sarenrae is my fav goddess!! Really love her lore and her faith. Also her color scheme and clothing for her followers. The sun goddess has the drip 🌞

    ... Okay what's with your tone when it comes to the Prismatic Ray polycule? It is canon in the pathfinder universe and you even use official art of the triad hanging out as part of your title card.
    Polytheistic deities like those of Golarion are often reflections of things that exist within the world and polyamorous people exist so that also fits on that front.

    • @itslegendlore
      @itslegendlore  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm definitely not saying that polyamory doesn't exist nor am I against it in any fashion xD I personally dont feel like it has been given enough focus or development to explain why they are all together.
      What I mean is that I want stories of how Sarenrae, Desna, and Shelyn all meet, interacted, had adventures, and built their love with one another, rather than it kind of just being slapped on like I felt it was. Maybe that exists and I just haven't found it yet, but I can only operate on the information that I already have.

      @@itslegendlore On the other hand, no other god's relationships, romantic, platonic or familial in pathfinder lore are any different to this? We're usually just told how things are and given a vague idea that A story must have happened there. (Shelyn's much more messy and complicated with her brother as another example.)

    • @itslegendlore
      @itslegendlore  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@000Dragon50000 exactly! I want more than just a glossing over. The depth that shelyn and zon kuthon has was so good and I want that kind of focus for every characters relationship. Aroden and Iomedae are also an example of having much more focus put in them while others are kind of just glossed over.
      I want more than just vague ideas, especially when it comes to polyamorous representations

    Healing to max hit points is a "minor boon"?! Either minor boons in general are overpowered or Serenrae is just unbelievably generous.

      Healing in PF2 is more generous than 5E. You're expected to go into each fight with pretty near full HP.

    hey, cant help but notice that looks a lot like a pf1e magic item? it gives a enhancement bonus instead of item, status or circumstance? its also pretty..... not PF2e for example that ability is pretty nuts in larger groups. is this meant to be a pf2e item? if so, you may want to look at better clarifying that! side note, the text on the screen for the major curse had some pretty significant typos that changed the meaning, i dont think the anti fiend goddess makes you do EXCLUSIVLY min damage VS fiends and nothing else for example! i also read in the comments ur not opposed to the whole poly thing, but you may wanna just work on that wording in future XD. it comes across pretty "lol lesbian harem okay woke inclusionary crowd, i see what ur doing. go away now" which i dont think is AT ALL the right impression, otherwise, excellent video
