Centuries ago when the Tablets of Fate were stolen, Ao forced all the deities to walk the earth as their avatars until they were found. As the deity of justice, Tyr questioned the justice of Ao's methods in handling the situation.
    And now Tyr is blind.

My Paladin in the Neverwinter MMO is a worshipper of Tyr. There isn't much to do in that game with regards to who the player's character worships, it's more for roleplaying, and Paladins don't join any orders or swear any oaths. There used to be racial and class-based quests, but the developers removed them, but even if they hadn't, the class quests for Clerics and Paladins didn't have anything to do with their god or goddess, and indeed, at first when I started playing, there was a smaller roster of gods to pick at character creation and Tyr wasn't one of them if I remember rightly. Or maybe he was and I just didn't notice because I wasn't interested in making a Paladin at the time. But with the expansion of the list of gods in a less recent than one might think update to the game, Tyr is for sure part of the pantheon and Paladins function a bit more like they do in 5E and aren't required to be Good, so you can have a Paladin who follows someone like Silvanus, Mask, or Corellon, whom my Ranger main character follows. Indeed, Lathander and Sune are gods players can pick at character creation, so a trio of players could form up and roleplay their characters honoring and following that alliance if they wanted. I don't know a lot of people who play Neverwinter for roleplaying with other people rather than their character in the events of the game, though.

I was very happy to find out there was a god named Tyr in the D&D universe honestly. He’s one of my favorite Nordic gods and I feel like you don’t see enough oh him in anything. Granted we honestly don’t know much about him in general but still.

As for I would like to see in upcoming videos... Possibly something with Torm, who is getting sidelined in 5E or D&D One or with Bahamut, because he tends to be rather popular with my players.. I myself am a big fan of both. Good deities willing to sacrifice themselves for the mortals and greater good are rare in FR and while they are present, people do not talk about them often enough.

I love the cover for his lost hand. Is it decored with a dog or with Fenrir? The amulet with Thor's hammer is a bit confusing to me. Are they particullary close to each other?

@@styrax7280 yeah it’s decorated like Fenrir, I took inspiration from Tyr’s depiction in the game Smite

For the sake of comedy and expedience I'm just going to assume that the Faerunian equivalent of "A British Tar" from HMS Pinafore is a hymn to Tyr.

Hello! I must say that your Tyr's art is incredibly beautiful. It has both the raw power and divine majesty coming from it. Something that is rather difficult to capture when one is creating a visage of a crippled man.
I am a DM that is currently making a campaign that goes to 30 level and my characters are encountering deities in their full glory. So far they had a meeting with Annam, Eilistraee and some minor gods. I wanted to ask if you would be against of me using your Tyr's art in my campaign.
I do not make any profit from it and I do not stream/post it on the internet. I will also credit you for your art, of course, and send this video to my friends. If that's a problem, then I understand and will not use this image.
Also, it's nice to know that you're familiar with Danmachi

I know it's more of a pirate thing, and his lack of a hand isn't much of a hindrance due to his deific might, but wouldn't Tyr at least try a hook for his hand-stump?

Some very useful information, especially regarding idea of dog-people worshipping Tyr, I can use that.
