Irori's never going to be the most popular (which I get, he's pretty boring and straight-edged as far as PF gods go) but he's still one of my favorites. Makes me want to bust out 100 pushups while listening to some history podcasts.
desna also once descended into abyss to personally kill a demon lord in his own realm ,for torturing a faithfull priest of hers and it's familly , almost starting an interplanar war in the process

@@zacharybosley1935 considering golarion is the prison of rovagug , a planar war is literally the last thing u want happening in the setting.
It sounds like Calistria should be played with a Southern accent, what with the weaving of insults into compliments, and the waspish vengeance.
Haha! A cleric of Calistria with a rich southern drawl does sound like a pretty perfect character concept.
Though nobody sounds like that in Golarion...
@@cynicaltheastrocreep4504 Who sez? I imagine Halflings with a Cajun accent, High Elves with a French Accent, Wood Elves should sound like Appalachia, etc. Only the limits of your imagination, my friend.

Sarenrea, Desna and Shelyn are my favorite gods in pathfinder, they just manage to hit exactly each of my needs and desires in just the right way, thanks for making videos about them. ^^
They are also lovers!

Gotta say of the major deities Desna and Erastil are my favorites, followed by Sarenrae and Torag.
Desna is also one of my favorites as well. The goddess of travel and fortune is almost always a good choice for your traveling adventurer type.
Fun fact: The picture of Sarenrae at 14:19 also has Desna and Shelyn. That is because they are in a polyamorous relationship together.
These videos about the Pantheon in Golarion are so unique and fantastic to spectate through. So many gods behave uniquely, and makes them interesting characters. Have a splendid day everyone! Thanks for the vid.
I am more or less completely new to Pathfinder lore but I have to say I really like the pantheon. Much more to my taste then the DnD stuff, though I dunno how good that was in the old days, before they mucked it up with 4E...
Yes! A video about Nethys I've been long waiting for! Thank you MythKeeper. He's my favorite so far, as he allows for so much flexibility and the characters following him are not constrained by moral decisions as much they are following other deities .
My favourite is Iomeade but Pharasma is most interesting considering who she is and what she knows, but Calistria is the hottest
Until yesterday I though Sarenrae was a Critical Role Deity, yet discovered she from Pathfinder.
Seen art of Calistria and though it was an PC, so far Pathfinder have some very cool Deity's.
CR was first a home game run in PF1e, which is why ;)
You may also notice that Tal’Dorei sounds more than a little like what denizens of Taldor are called heh.

Many thanks for your brief but rich description of Calistria. I'm currently playing a charm/trickery oriented priest of the Hive, and due to resource limitations, have had to construct aspects of the faith with creative gap-filling (which I suppose is a very Calistrian practice.) The information you convey & your presentation of it lines up with my interpretation/s surprisingly well. I'm glad to have found this channel & very grateful ❤

I care little for Irori and Nethys, but the rest of the deities presented here are easily my favorites. (Hope you do a video of the drunk god one day!) Very few of my characters have worshiped outside those four gods.
I play a rogue/evangelist of Cayden (Not to be confused with the other Cayden) He rushes into battle to help others , find adventure and drinks....... especially drinks...

Friendly reminder, Desna is also most likely an Outer God/Great Old One. While it is speculation, she existed at the start of creation(as did the Outer Gods and Great Old Ones) and spends most of her time defending against the Great Beyond. Also, many of the Outer Gods/Great Old Ones have called her "sister", though they don't use such titles with any other deities.
Another point to this idea is that her shadow literally became it's own god/demigod(depending on what source you are looking at). Something that we've only seen with the Outer Gods.

All the references to the Great Old Ones and Yog Sothoth and all that are from a wiki Paizo doesn't consider canonical. My partner got tripped up on the same wiki until I pointed out the references to Lovecraft and he did more digging x3

@@TheMythKeeper Desna hides her true appearance, is a Goddess of dreams, and has other mysterious aesthetics usually associated with Elder Gods. And her realm is literally amongst the Dark tapestry.
It's pretty fun to play her as a good type of cthullu
Trying to find a God simular to Lathander from D&D forgotten realms, for my champion.
Serunre is the ovious choice, but isn't quite what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for a God with more of the values of
Iomedae, personality of Kurgess, and assosiation with the Sun of Sarunre.
With the portfolio of renewal and self-perfection both Irori and Kurgess could be interesting choices.
@@TheMythKeeper Kurgess sounds closer than Irori for what I want for this character, thogh both lack the millitant aspect that Iomedae has.

Yeah the setting lacks a regular old sun god. And a standard LG one too for that matter.

Haha! No, but its true that Abadar collects perfect things and Irori is perfect, so maybe Abadar does want Irori in his vault... I don't think Abadar has that kind of power though. Irori is his own boss.

Desna is just beautiful and amazing altogether, not only is she the goddess of dreams but she's also responsible for the tapestry of stars? I love her, is it true that she's in a relationship with both Sarenrae and Shelyn?
That's the rumor in town, but she's also very discrete, so we may never know for sure. ;-)
I am treble sensitive and can't eq with bt headphones at work. A shame, would like to listen but the eq is too siblent
Hey I'm sorry to hear this. I'm less than a year on youtube and I'm still very much learning. I also live in a big noisy city and don't have a quiet place to record so I often have to lower the gain don't to minimum to avoid picking up cars and things. I'll keep tweaking and hope you can come back to the channel when the audio is better.
