I was very happy to find out there was a god named Tyr in the D&D universe honestly. He’s one of my favorite Nordic gods and I feel like you don’t see enough oh him in anything. Granted we honestly don’t know much about him in general but still.

Warduke is Left-Handed! All the original are, and his character design hints to this. He holds his sheild in his right hand, and the right side of the body is unarmoured. He holds his sword in his left, the side that he has Armor on.

About the gender roles thing: the term "Succubus" uses the male grammatical gender. (The mythological origin descriptive them as demons that could switch between the roles. The names are literally the Latin version of "Top" and "Bottom")

Love the sketch with the succubus embracing someone with their wings. However, the composition you chose instead conveys the thread such a fiend poses much more strongly.

If succubi aand incubi are the source of so many tieflings, its a shame we didnt get a sorcerer bloodline to use them. Some hybrid between Abberant Mind's enchantments and Divine Soul's (un)holy magic

Going by the notion that succubi have aesthetics based on which demon lord they serve, those who serve Orcus would be on a duality, either being extremely fat in their true form, which no kink shaming here, like their lord or skeletally thin like the undead their patron rules over. That said, I like the idea that rather than incubi being solely male and succubi solely female, they are either depending on whether they're dominant or submissive, and then concubi for the switches. And that said, I took a page from Pathfinder and have Nocticula or some other Succubus Queen being the mother of all succubi and incubi and they may or may not be born of the demon lords they serve, it's true for some, but their true appearance comes from which demon lord they serve in part because it's supposed to be a sign of alliance between said Succubus Queen and whichever demon lord her succubi and incubi serve. This should be problematic as most of the demon lords fight each other almost as much as they do the mortals and Good-aligned extraplanar entities who oppose them, but it's all part of the Succubus Queen's manipulations. And it works because her sons and daughters are loyal to her first, then the demon lords, they stay by the demon lords' sides because their mother tells them to.

I am running Rime of the Frostmaiden and a number of the players are new so I have decided to run it as a more straightforward adventure and cut out and or change a lot but the main thing is Auril has two main Generals who are devoted to her and there are 5 towers with Bheur hags that are amplifying the endless Rime. They seem to be really invested and I love some of your ideas! I just found this video and I’m really excited to add some stuff from here

I am so glad I stumbled upon this video! It is truly very informative and inspiring. Any Ideas on a character that is the child of the Raven Queen? I have been thinking about it for a while now, and would definitely want them to be a Shadar Kai Warlock, the Queen ofc being their Patron. Any suggestions that could make this lore accurate? I have consider trying to make one of the gods mentioned in the video the father but no idea who it would be, or maybe having her create a child with magic? Only to neglect it later consumed by her obsession with collecting memories? Potentially a man in her court before the ritual? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! I really want this character to have a deep lore and connection to the Shadowfell, a forgotten Prince or Princess of some sort.

Nice review. As a DM for B/X, AD&D and 5E, I can say that since we switched to Shadowdark over a year ago, this is by far my favorite system to run. Easy to teach, runs fast, intense combat and the lite rules let you focus on the story without all the mechanics getting in the way. Works great for long campaigns, IMHO but everyone's milage may vary.

if i was spider monster person that is all spider like webber the anthro spider in don't starve i would not worship Lolth she is creepy and unnatural driders would make my 8 spider eyes roll disgusted by that none spider elf thing what the hell Lolth i would drink her blood in rage like a slushy hahaha

Love the idea of NPCs having Party Actions. The published modules have a few NPCs like this that follow the players around but have a basic CR3 Veteran or Knight statblock. I think of Descent Into Avernus and Reya Mantlemore or Dragonlance and young Squire Darret Highwater. It be a good way to make them more interesting and helps especially if you run for smaller party sizes. I run for a group of 8 and 6 so I don't really like having NPCs with the party but there is value to this idea 100%

I am still at the start of my campaign but so far it is going well with Ireena. She is a bubbly, energetic and naive lady who is very interested in the players and is looking to get out away from Strahd and out of her father's house. The party is quite protective of her, some wanting to protect her innocence while others want to make sure she gets a reality check before bad shit happens and breaks her spirit (It was very clearly hinted that things would go badly for her eventually). Giving her some Disney princess energy which she uses to survive and hide the dark thoughts that intrude into her mind.

I have a cleric in my game that is a follower of Lathander, but they are having trouble holding to the standards of lathander while the party tends to not follow the good route in all situations. I’ve had to limit the spell casting of the cleric of lathander because of choices made and their alignment shifting from good to more neutral. As a result, I had my party investigate a town that was attacked by an adult dragon, I am using the red knights of tempus to give the cleric a chance to choose another deity to follow. I love how you explained tempus, a lot of people do see him as an evil god, which is a mistake and really limits the role play of a God with for much history in DND. I really like the red knight faction associated with tempus and my cleric in the party absolutely loves following tempus/redknights instead of the buzzkill lathander. Keep up the great work!

Honestly I can see an obvoius conections to Eilistraee and Artificers; Someone has got to be able to make those swords in the first place. Wizards, Blade Singers are perfect as it is a subclass from the Elves traditions using both sword and spell with very little armor. Rogues, You might not see them often, but I could see quite a few directions such as being the unseen proectors from fiendish strikes, spyies, and other enemies that would think Eilistraee's fallowers to be fully naive. Rouges know how to spot enimies in plain sight beacuse they can be and have been enimies in plain sight. Could go very in depth with the The Darksong Knights with it.

Great video! My players loved Descent into Avernus! Our Warlock lost their patron and took the sword of Zariel as his new patron and was able to redeem Zariel. It was a beautiful moment and a fitting end to the campaign

Im making a Grave domain Cleric right now that follows Jergal. His motivation is. Some jackass decided to be a graverobber. Now my guy is out to get him.

This is top tier content. I am 100% using this in future sessions. Great work!
