My school was at Kowloon Tong (St George"s School) and seldom walked all the way to Sham Shui Po army camp married quarters. On route, I would sample anything from street hawkers to restaurants serving roast pork or duck with rice. Nothing beats Hong Kong, my all time fav place on planet earth. Oh host Janice Fung's a good looker, no doubt about it!!!

Love your video, you are charming ... but if I have not seen wrongly, I believe you are not holding your chopsticks correctly. If you don't mind, I suggest you perhaps should try to learn how to hold chopsticks. There is a correct way to hold and use chopsticks although nowadays many Asians cannot do so, however you as a food youtuber will look more pro if holding chopsticks the right way. There are many videos in TH-cam teaching people how to do that, worth your time to watch them and start doing it correctly. How to use chopsticks is an Asian culture.

@@mogus1941 the wonton masters are meant to put a lot of effort into their soup, saying it was like soy sauce is the equivalent of saying a ramen shop soup tastes like milky water, it's quite disrespectful. The first thing people do in eating at those places is to taste the soup first. Being of Hong Kong descent and presenting quintessential dishes of Hong Kong saying that out loud is quite poor form. It's not an Instagram internet famous fad food, showcasing traditional Hong Kong culture with that kind of effort leaves a lot to be desired... If it was a foreigner, I'll say it's a fair go. Since she's not and supposedly a "well eaten" foodie; very disappointed.

@@yannie1012 Definitely didn’t intend to disrespect - makes me a bit sad to think it came across that way. Am always looking to learn & improve these vids, so thank you for the background info, and appreciate the feedback

@@JaniceFung I understand you don't mean to be rude but I would want you to better represent our culture to foreigners and to connect with your roots better as diaspora. It just sounded like you didn't know your own culture or appreciated the food, especially as you took the career change to do content creation covering food we as viewers want you to do well in that decision. There's an oversupply of soulless content creators on the food bandwagon just telling people "it tastes good", I don't want to see you do that particularly in cuisine that you supposedly are familiar with. Perhaps if you were peddling lifestyle, personality or general things to see and do in HK the expectations would be lower..

@@JaniceFung we enjoy all your videos and you have never intentionally disrespect anyone or culture. Each person tastes things differently. An innocent comment oftentimes is refreshing. Keep doing what you are doing because you and your family bring much fun and information to your viewers.

I’ve lived here for 20yrs and I think it’s better than when I first arrived. It’s cleaner, there are so many things activities to do especially with kids. Because of that people are having more fun and it’s more relaxed and most importantly, the food is better than ever.
