Cracking review of an awesome kit! Andy has really worked some magic here to get such a great set at such a low price! I believe it is the strongest steel he’s used to date as well. If I need a new set at any point, this is absolutely what I would be getting! 😁🥚
Great set, everything you actually need is there. Sure, everyone will add a pick or two and a few tension wrenches, but it really doesn't need anything that I can think of.

It's nice to see that companies are finally putting TOK tensioners in their kits, although for those of us who have been picking for years it's a little late because I think 99percent of us have bought sets of TOK tension tools just so we could have them. All in all though it's a very nice set!
I like the inclusion of TOK and BOK wrenches. Manufacturers need to make a set with a short, medium, deep. A couple off set. Picks in .025 and .018 thicknesses. With TOK and BOK and you got the perfect set IMO.
Super review! I like that it has so many hooks, and I figure since some of the ones that seem similar are fairly long I can sand them into all kinds of heights that I might need in the future!!
So I decided to purchase this kit as my first "proper" pick set. I am new to the sport but appreciate the good value and quality of the kit. The BOK tension wrenches no longer have a twist in so are stiffer giving better feedback. I decided to pimp the kit up by getting a multipick elite case for them to live in and 3 different thickness multipick z wrenches. Really enjoying learning what picks work where.
This has to be one of the better thought out sets. Of course, none are ever really perfect for everyone as we all have our preferences, and mine are only slightly different from what Law Lock has assembled here. However, they have included everyone's favorites, but only in one heavy thickness. First off, I can't fault the TOK tensioners as they really are a necessity, but I would personally like to see somebody make them bent in that direction that makes hand holding more comfortable. However, that's a very personal preference and most pickers buy extras and bend them ourselves to our own liking. Like you, I also prefer BOK tensioners without the twist as they provide much better feedback than the twisted tensioners. I would only change one other thing about this set, which would be to substitute the three deepest hooks for one each of the remaining shorter profile hooks, but in a 0.015" - 0.018" thickness. However, I'd only substitute them if I meant to keep the set down to the number of tools it's originally provided with. Personally, I would keep them all, but add the thinner versions to go along with the whole set instead of replacing them. But that's just how I am - I'd rather carry tools I'll probably never need, just on the 1:1000 chance I might need one. LoL. Another great, helpful review, thank you!

Nice set, great review, you always cover the things people want and need to know, save somebody time and maybe money too, no sets going to be perfect for everyone.
Looks like a nice sensible kit for anymore just starting out in the locksporting hobby at a very reasonable price. The only thing I wish they would throw in with these sorts of kits is a handle so the picks can be slid and locked into it in some way, it really digs into your fingers these slim picks and deadens your sensitivity to what is been fed-back from the pick.. Just a thought ;-)
Great review noob I like LLT picks they are very good and reasonably priced I’m liking this set no ball/half ball/double ball picks and strange picks you’ll never use not sure about the handles I really like the sandwich handles they have I do understand it’s made to a price and there will be compromises but looks a good all around kit 👌
I too like the long handles. I've always felt the typical handle length of most lock picks out there are just a bit too short. The ends of typical handles fit on the inside of the web between my thumb and index finger. Handles that rest over the top of the hand would be very nice. I also like the SPP inclined nature of the set. I typically don't use raking techniques sinse it's a skill that doesn't require much practice. I prefer to stick with working on honing my SPP skills because there's a lot of room for development. I think if I were to change something about this set, I would swap out the twisted bottom of the keyway tensioners for the Z style BoK tensioners that are long on one end and short on the other. That's probably the only major thing I would want changed, everything else I can think of would just be nitpicking like you mentioned. I definitely approve of the choice of material. I've mentioned before how much I like the high yield 301 stainless. It's pretty durable and I wish more pick manufacturers would start using it. A lot of pick manufacturers still use the full hard 301 which I think tends to bend a little too easily. Anyway, those are my thoughts. Jeez, Law Lock makes some nice stuff. I'm so jealous. I'd kill for that kit. I wouldn't change a thing. Well, maybe swap the Snake for a 4- or 5- peak Bogota or wave rake (sorry, I just don't like Snake rakes). Or even a deForest half-ball. I don't even mind about the handles - that's what heat-shrink is for.

He should make a trip, once or twce a year, to the Neterlands and to a friend with a big case of the most sold kits. Then sent from within EU. Yeah it is a shame UK left EU. I don't think they gained a lot from it. Me too heistate to order stuff from UK nowadays. Sweden is an all f..ked up contry when it comes to cutoms, not for the VAT or the custom fees but more fore the handling fee, a fixed £10 extra.

I would love to see the Nessie I believe it’s called rake used. Never seen one like that. Also, I have never had any success with a snake rake. If you have any videos for either of them please send me links. I would appreciate it.

You can make a simple handle by shrinking several layers of heat shrink tubing
And it’s very effective 👍
