I use the leaf blower on my tractor after each time I mow as well, blow all the grass and dirt out from the engine bay, and clean the radiator filter out, and the engine air filter....gets dusty here in my area during the summer. In your case with the wide open area you mow, its too bad they don't offer a 72" mower deck LOL.
Hi Jim, the salesman and dealership played a big role in my decision to purchase a Yanmar. They were knowledgeable and professional. Thanks for watching!
I have the virtually identical unit made by Cub/Yanmar (sc2450). I often wondered if the mowing deck was drive-on. I’ve been rolling it in from the side and connecting it up. I’ll have to check for the fan shroud. Nice looking property! Regards from NY
I really Enjoyed your way you do things , very informative , Attention to detail ! Outstanding .. I’m looking right now and think they have the best warranty, and they make a lot of the parts for others .. the engine is a work horse. Good luck and thank you very much
You have a nice place out there. I am considering a sub , or compact for finish mowing. My Yanmar 2020D has been reliable, but has ag tires and no mid pto. It sinks in the clay we have here, most of the year. I see a new generation of tires out there. Just wondering how well your rig floats. It looks like firm ground compared to what is here, unless we go into drought , in which case it may as well be concrete! Coyotes almost wiped out the ground hogs in these parts. Thanks Chris
Nice, looking at a sa324 myself, waiting for my dealer to get them back in stock, says he has 18 on order. Did you get the cruise control upgrade on yours? Looks like you are cutting a good bit of grass any issues with keeping a constant speed? I get bad cramps in my calves and I may add the cruise control.
I did not add the cruise control, I am always adjusting speed due to rough spots and hills in the yard. I think it could come in handy if you have a smooth, flat yard. In high range the hydro pedals can get fairly stiff and the cruise control would probably help to avoid leg cramps. Thank you for watching.
The R4 tires do not tear up the lawn, but if I were to buy again I think I would consider turf tires. The R4s are not good when plowing snow, I think turf tires would have been a better all around choice for us.
Glad to find your channel. I'm in the same area. How have your experiences with Holmes been? I've been lurking by there lately, looking at the Yanmar tractors. I love the standard features and the warranty, for the money.
They were very knowledgeable and treated us very fair on the deal. I have not had the tractor back for service but I have purchased fluid and filters from them. I would highly recommend them. Thanks for watching.
I have same set up. I was curious, do the rear deck wheels rub on your deck when turning ? I have only about 5 hrs of mowing with mine and the rear deck wheels have rubbed the paint off because they rub when turning.
Mine do not rub, there is plenty of clearance between the deck and rear deck wheels. I think it is possible to have the deck wheels pinned too far forward if they are not in level holes front to back. Take a look at my video Will it Cut, I go through setting the deck wheel height in that video. Hopefully that will help solve your issue. Thanks for watching.
I’m not sure of the exact speed I’m able to mow but I would guess around 6-7 MPH, I do most of the mowing in high range. I’m about 5’10”. Thanks for watching.
Zeros are good. Ferris, rules here, but bad boy is catching on. Huskysdo well. I am tired of keeping a bunch of machines in order. My barn is stuffed. So I am thinking a compact would do every thing. Of note, Zeros do not do well in hilly areas, like here, nor do the do well in greasy mud.
Looks nice also the best first words about letting it warm up 👌 proud of ya bud
Beautiful Piece of Property!
Thank you and thanks for watching.
dang that's a lot of turf
I'm liking that tractor more every time I see it

Got a sa221 in April. I like my tractor. Noticed from the dealer sticker on your tractor you got yours same place I got mine.

Thank you for watching. The overall construction of the tractor is excellent and the warranty definitely adds to the value.

Nice job! But dang your place looks like a lot of work 😄
I have a 424 and it’s the best money I ever spent 💪
We have a good amount to do around our place but the Yanmar really helps make it easy. Thanks for watching!

I sold my old Yanmar this spring. I had it for 16 years.
looking at the 325 with turf tires. How are the R4s on your lawn. Would you go back get R4s instead?

@@doodletract5252 -Sorry for the typo- meant to say would you go back and get the turf tires- thanks for answering!!!!

Hi, how fast are you able to mow? Also if you wouldn't mind saying, how tall are you to compare to the tractor? Thanks for the video.

Its not a lawn tractor.... Its a tractor. Get a zero turn and cut that in 85% of the time that does.

Seems like it’s cookin along pretty fast.
I have one and it only has 59 hours and I've had nothing but issues with it I'm going to a 3 point finishing mower
@billcooper54, no details?!?
