    I personally know the owner of the company mother clutcher. He is a great person. He takes pride in everything he sales. I've known him 10 years before he made it big. He stands behind every part he sales.

      I wish I could speak good for the clutch, but it failed me day one. The spider nut backed up and the clutch came apart, my new hunter works belt was destroyed. When I put it on the bench I noticed there was no evidence that there was any loctite.

    Cheap Amazon Clutch Update: Nothing video worthy so I will drop it here. On my second clutch with the EPI big tire clutch kit. We have had 3 hard riding dune trips. 4 long days mountain pass riding for many miles. 4 local trip days. About 900 miles. I pulled the clutch today to check it out. The rollers are still spinning free and there are no wear marks on the weights. In my opinion since I only got 1500 miles out of my stock clutch and this one was only $300 (compared to $7 to $900 for stock.) this one has paid for itself. Dune miles are without a doubt the hardest and we push our machines.

      So were you paid to review this or are you doing it on your own merit? I am looking at replacing mine due to it wearing out at 1700 miles on my s4 1000.

      @@thec3117 the first primary failed. The second primary failure is inconclusive. I had a bolt failure on motor mounts about the same time. Not sure which came first. Secondary they sent me is still doing good. I switched primaries to MTB brand just in case..... Will do a review on it when I get more miles.

    I bought the mother clutcher primary clutch for my 2017 RZR. It last 80 miles before the spider nut loosened up and destroyed my new belt.

      Sorry to hear that. Are you able to tighten the nut? I am trying a MCB clutch now. mcbperformance.com/i-23430640-2016-2021-polaris-rzr-1000-razor-mcb-performance-pro-series-upgraded-primary-drive-clutch-non-turbos.html

      @@ThinkBuildTest thanks for the reply. I'm strongly considering the new hunter works clutch. Their reversed threading for the spider nut is exactly what I think I need. Have you tried Thiers?
      I was able to tighten it with a flat head and a rock (hammer was mia) to get me back to camp and up the trailer. To tighten the nut properly I need a specific socket . I'm waiting to see what they will say about the warranty, before I do anything else. Or return it through Amazon. It's been 6 days I'm sure they will refund me

      @@thec3117 no I am still hopeful one of these cheaper ones will work good. It sucks that they are a ware part for as much as they cost. I don't have much more faith in the expensive ones. They are harder to work on and thier ware parts are more expensive.

      @@thec3117 the mcb has a thicker shaft slider that is supposed to reduce tower woble and save the pucks. They also let you choose different weights and spring setup no extra cost.

    Problem is one size does NOT fit all. Maybe physically, but internals are different between year models for XP 1000!
    I also had to disassemble completely and do some lathe work on it for it to even function! NO MORE CHEEP CHINA JUNQUE for me!

    • @ThinkBuildTest
      @ThinkBuildTest  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am trying out MCB currently. I have a video for that also. All 1000s should be the same but they may have sent you the wrong part. 800s have a different shaft pitch. I believe 900s have same clutch different weights. They love to send me xpt belts from amazon.

      @dondavidson3440 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThinkBuildTest 2014, 2015, and 2016 XP1000 RZR primaries are all tuned different with different weights and spring. As I stated, they are the same physically, so yes they will “FIT” but are going to run different. Now go and buy the correct weights and spring and the savings is not quite as much if it works at all. As I stated, I had to do some minor lathe work to get it to function properly. How many folks that buy these have that ability? 2017 thru 2024 are all the same.
