    I've always struggled with meal prep in this manner. However, I find "cook once; eat twice or three times" quite easy.

    I get bored with the same food so I sometimes meal prep ingredients that I can change what I eat. So like pulled chicken, I can make a salad, a wrap, sandwich, or over rice for dinner. Booked eggs can be a snack or breakfast or add to salads. That is my preference to not get bored eating the same thing over and then eat out an entire week to have something different.

    I've meal prepped for years (about 5). For lunch I have the the same thing everyday and I absolutely love it. 2 lbs/16 oz of fruit, usually melon and berries, Greek yogurt and veggie chips. I have a major sweet tooth so the fruit gives me the "fix" i need. For dinner, this week, its homemade vegetable and chicken pho - no noodles.

    Great follow-up to the previous vid about meal prepping. K.I.S.S. Principal helps success a lot. Imagine how different life would be if people ate like this even just Monday-Friday ? The entire fabric of society would change; from health care to business to so much more. The amount of waste that would be eliminated would be monumental and the resultant surplus could feed so many of our fellow citizens of the world. It is a form of personal poverty that the world seems to define Success as being Exploitive and Prosperity as Conspicuous Consumption. You go, Joanna!

    Prep my meal 1 night before like soaking grains, lentils, beans, nuts and making overnight oats(coz I'm vegan🌱) it takes 15 min for each meal to prepare on the time with this pre-preparation and wolah I got the fresh food every day in every meal.

    Thanks Johanna. After your last video i had tuna salad sandwich and vegtables for lunch. With orange for a snack. I got full. I also ate your breakfast. I even bought sweet potatoes with fish for dinner. Bannans in the freezer for my smoothie tonight. I feal great . and you look great. Chow

      shillows and poohs I do that all the time, why not it's healthier than flour. I blend oats for pancakes, waffles, and even my Nigerian fufu 😄

    Huge fan.. but my biggest problem with meal prepping is to keep the food especially the cooked meat and veggies fresh...they taste differently even the next day

      You could try tahini or even dairy free yogurts. Personally, I'm trying to stay away from dairy as well, so mayo and dairy yogurts are not an option.

    Keep your cook food in freezer ? How you heat up the next day? If use microwave how many minutes need to heat up?

    Hi Joanna, I feel inspired to start meal prepping, but does it mean you have to use the microwave a lot to heat up the food? Is that okay for health over the long run?

      If it's only to reheat really quick, I find that it's ok. Do check out my "Guide to Meal Prep" video where I spoke more about storing and reheating food. =)

    Hi joanna.. Thanks for your inspiring video of meal prep.. i want to ask something: is rolled oat the same with quaker oat? When you prepare overnight oat should the jar put in freezer or just in a chiller

      Overnight oats, you can just chill them. Quaker Oats, it depends if you're getting rolled or instant oats. Instant oats are more processed compared to rolled oats. Rolled oats are much better but if you were to cook them, they'll take longer to cook compared to instant oats. Rolled oats fill you up much more too.

      Adrita Bose I hear you am Nigerian and love my naive spicy stew with fish or mixed vegetables but they are time consuming. I will mix them up like Joanna suggested because trust me the alternative of not eating right is not an option for me.
