I agree 100%. The most sturdy and versatile case I’ve ever used. Really love how you can detach the lightweight inner case from the folio. Plus how effective the magnets and how precise and responsive the buttons are.
@@vicbertfartingclack4559 I also have a zulu case when I put in my ipad pro in that case and I put my pencil on it but it’s not letting it charge up so when I order this ESR shift magnetic case it’s let me charge up my pencil on it
I’ve been very surprised how much I like this case. One huge underrated feature is being able to have it in portrait mode. It’s really nice for reading etc. since I got this I haven’t used the official Apple keyboard case much at all. Makes it feel like a tablet rather than a laptop with the keyboard case
My only gripe is that the part of the case that lays on the table closes onto the iPads display. If the table has any dirt it will get onto display as soon as you close the lid.
Thank you for reviewing. I've been considering what case to get and this solidified my decision. I'm curious: when Apple Pencil is charging through the inner case, does it fall off easily?
Thanks for watching. Glad I could help. And not really, it’s on there pretty well. It’s a slight bit weaker than just sticking it on the side of the iPad, but barely noticeable. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and have had no issues.
Are you able to use the inside case with the Magic Keyboard or do you need to take it out of the inside case every time you want to use it with the Magic Keyboard?
Bro. Just got mine today and I’ve just ordered this case now as well. What kind of a tempered glass are you using here or the one you use on your personal iPad. Looking for something that won’t degrade the quality of the screen. Thanks.
I did a couple of reviews for screen protectors for the iPad. I use the Benks tempered glass screen protector. Good screen protector and doesn’t mess with display quality.
Hi Hi.. can I use the inner protective case of the ESR Rebound Magnetic Keyboard with just the outer Folio of this case? Will it close well & work well? It will be nice to be able to simply transfer from the ESR keyboard to this Folio & vice versa. Thanks 😊
No, unfortunately not. The magnet alignment is different between the magnets on this case and other cases, but I believe between the two ESR cases you should be able to
That's a good question. I haven't been able to find a specific drop rating, but you should be just fine dropping from 1-1.5m. I don't see you having any damage to the iPad from that drop with this case on it.
i bought the shift case and the only down side i found is the missing flap and weak magnet cover. so i removed the flap from my old esr case and put it to my shift case. now i can securely put my pencil on top and also holds the cover solved 2 cons, now it's perfect for me. th-cam.com/users/shortss5b9UwJ5or4?si=iUbPWGz5W96GDMcW

For sure!
Just love it, I sometimes play card to go to sleepand magnet make all the difference no more falling flat

True but that’s also the case with apple’s Smart Cover ands a bunch of other folios
@@TheSM4ster good point. 👍
great help, cheers !
Thanks to you, I am now a happy owner of this case 👍😊. Does everything as promised 👍😊
That's awesome!! I'm glad you like it.
EXCELLENT 5 STAR VIDEO! THANK YOU SIR!
Ordered. Zugu has been my favorite, but they haven’t released the new one yet, and this looks very similar.

I just love my case for my ipad pro 11 inch tablet
I’m deciding between this ESR and the Zugu case. Which do you recommend?
ESR
I got the Zugu, def much lighter than what this seems to be.
Are you able to use the inside case with the Magic Keyboard or do you need to take it out of the inside case every time you want to use it with the Magic Keyboard?
It will not work with the magic keyboard
Is it sturdy enough for you draw on it, on any of those preset angle?
Yep. It gets into any of those grooves and magnetizes. You can give the screen a good push without it falling down.
Would be great to see a drop test! Still didnt find anyone doing it
Probably because most people don’t drop their tablets…
How strong and stable are the magnets, especially at the lower note taking angles?
Very strong magnets.
I use mine to draw with heavy palm pressure and it holds up
Why it’s so heavy. Best magnets anywhere. But you do pay the price in weight. I’m good with that compromise

Does the Touch ID feature work with this case?
It should on iPad models they have Touch ID
The weight and bulk of this is the only reason I won’t get it. The features and versatility would be perfect for many people though.
Great video!
Thank you!

Any issues with the magnets whilst using Apple Pencil pro?
None at all.
Does the lid stay shut, when you close it up if you are not using IPAD
Yes
Awesome video, any updates on the mophie case giveaway? 😄
Thank you. I already chose winners and shipped the prizes to them
What is the actual protection of the Ipad with this case, e.g. Ipad/case slipping out of your hand and falling on hard floor from 1-1,5m ?

@@Brians_techthx!
Nice 😊
Which screen protector are you using?
Flolab
I just ordered this, but I’m a little worried about the iPad heating up. With the real Zulu case, your get air vents behind the pad. We’ll see…
I have no issues of it heating up with this case. You should be good.
@@Brians_tech thx for the feedback
The ipad itself weights 643g? Isn't it just 500 something?
That’s what it weighed out at, yes.
@@Brians_tech either you put a screen protector on or your electronic balance was off
There is a screen protector on there
