Great video brother. I'll just might pick one up. Man! You look very warm... Or That's shin care treatment... I do own the extreme x570. Still the star of the show I think. Oldie! But good.
Awesome and thank you! Probably the camera 😆 that was my mistake for leaving it on AWB, extreme x570 is an absolute legend and getting a X870e hero would be quite the well deserved upgrade! I really appreciate the time for you to comment and watch this vid 🙏
What you are doing wrong is that you are not doing and research or reading anything at all before buying a product. M.2 slot 2 is shared with PCIE5.0 X16 (slot 1). Avoid using it.
@@frossstysanIn a way it's sad how you spend so much money on a top of the class mobo and you don't even know how it works. You could've gone much cheaper and you wouldn't notice a difference. Anyone who has a clue what they're doing already knew about some lanes being shared. You won't ever use that motherboard to it's full potential lmao
@ yes yes! Is it weird i’m looking forward to Jan 6nd more than Xmas 😂 I’m also hoping for Asus to release a 50series ProArt so i can fit the thing in a compact case.
be aware. if you have a samsung 990 pro 4tb double sided drive installing into m.2 slot 1. It will not let the heatseat seat unless you unscrew the bottom mounting platform.
there's no double sided 990 pro 4tb drives, I have one as boot drive and it's single sided, that's the only ssd on the market which is single sided 4tb capacity so dunno what you on about
Before I give you the answer your looking for, I have to state all AM5 motherboards will do this. There is a solution to do this which are 2 ways you can keep this from happening: In the bios you'll have a setting which is Auto, what this will do is if you are using your drives on m.2_2 & m.2_3, you would only use it for backup purposes or saving documents, installing apps which doesn't require much GPU power, but wouldn't suggest installing any games as it will reduce your PCIe x16 to x8. It will only auto switch from PCIe when the drives are in use. Option 2: keep the bios setting on PCIex16, don't worry about filling up m.2_2&3 and use m.2_ 4&5 instead. T
But still have problems with 2 things. Have some errors all the time anda believe wrong cpu fan. Opt. Or pump with ucie link Corsair Or maybe wrong usb mobo connection in bottom of mobo
Could be the issue, use the cpu fan on the top right side of the board, if you’re using the pump connection it’ll be right by your cpu. Are you getting a bios screen?
Thank you for the quick reponse ❤ Did you check in the operating system if ECC is functioning? Could you make a video about this? The topic is being discussed in many forums, but in my opinion, most videos refer to the older BIOS firmware. The latest version should support ECC, so it is also recognized by the operating system. Such a video would help many people, provide clarity, and increase your reach. That would be great! Thank you very much.
@ChrisMizo what is the reason for the price difference between the Asus boards, same chipset? Is it because the heat sinks are different lololol. So will get the same performance out of the lowest dollar just not the bling?
@bigsheeple652 you certainly can, the main differences are that the E gaming will have one Ethernet port (which is 10Gbps), you won’t have u.2,u.3 ( mostly for creator use) if you’re gaming you won’t notice the difference 👌
@@leonardopalomino7259 MSI carbon is a great motherboard, depends on the type of use that you are looking to get. ASUS Crosshair hero x870e is great for those who need usage from gaming, content creation and productivity. Also it helps that this motherboard makes it easy to build a PC from the quick release design. MSI carbon would be great just for gaming usage, Ethernet port is a bit slower at 5GbE compared to Asus’ 10GbE and has a new BIOs which may feel a bit different. Overlocking would be great on either board if you’re into that. Hopefully this answers your question!
@ bios issues with cmos and some other stuff I don’t understand haha. So I noticed this board has Dolby atmos. Have you tried using it and if so how do you feel about it?
So far haven't seen any issues, still doing test on it and happy with it by far. Will have a update video on this and see if I can reanact any of the claims.

I have this motherboard. Please help. When I put my GPU in 16x mode, one of ssd is basically gone. What am I doing wrong?
Install m.2 in slot 1,4 or 5 and that’ll resolve your issue 👌

Really need them to release a Gene version for the MATX build i’m planning.
Not too much longer to go, I'm thinking CES.

Im going to put in (2) WD Black 8TB in m.2-1 and m.2-4. see any issues with that?
I haven’t seen any issues as mentioned.
So ive read utilizing the m.2.2 and m.2.3 slots will take away lanes from your gpu. What can u put in these slots that wont do that?

Does it supports ECC with the new firmware? Can you test it please?
