    RGM is amazing. Not only for service, but they are one of the few companies in America that makes watches at a high horological level.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. Curious, the crystal looks pretty banged up. Hard use, no doubt. Think you may remove the outer AR coating? Glad you got it back up and running!

    The 556i looks so good with a green nato strap. I gotta try a green nato strap on my 556a today, lol

    Any interest in also getting the Sinn 104? 2-3 months is very fast to fix a watch. I sent in an Omega and it took 6 months and a Seiko took almost about 8 months.

    I really like that model from Sinn. I like this tool watch and it's made in Germany. I would get one as well. Great review Neemor.

    Glad it was covered under warranty. That is one of the reasons why I am reluctant to buy a high end watch. It's one thing if a $200 watch cost $50 to $100 to fix it, It is not a big deal to fix it or just scrap it and buy another one. When you have a $2000 watch and you are looking at a $500 to $1000 bill to repair it that is a tough nut.

      Very True. I'm sure that will happen someday, but one of the great things about salita and ETA movements is that if something catastrophic happens they can be replaced for not to big of a bill.

      Those are luxury items it can definitely happend. If your are not ready to fork the money on this eventuality. Go for a solar gshock , enjoy it every day and never look back. There is no shame to both option just a choice you make for yourself.

    Was this the eta model or the sellita model? Also is it still holding up 1 year later now?

    Hey Man! Great video. I am glad they got it all sorted out. One thing you can try to correct the timing is set the watch down overnight crown down. It should correct the timing 3-5 seconds and keep you from having to adjust via the stem. Stems, crowns and associated o rings are really consumables on a watch so the less you unscrew the assembly the happier it will be long term. Great band color, but the smaller nato just too much for me to pull off. I know 007 wore it that way but I still can’t get past the feel of it. Just moves around to much I guess. I hope all is well with you and the homestead, I think your area got some unseasonably weather. Be well my friend and thanks again for the great content.

      Agreed about the undersized nato. Edit: that said, thank you for sharing your experience through this process!

    Your Sinn runs at 1-2 seconds a day? That's amazing. Mine runs +6 fast ever since I got it. Do you think mine is defect?

    • @NeemorsWorld
      @NeemorsWorld  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You could probably get it regulated at a local watch shop. But I think 6 seconds is still within spec. I’d double check though.

    I have the Marathon GSAR 41mm. Had my eye on this watch for a while. Did you originally buy the metal strap or leather?

    • @NeemorsWorld
      @NeemorsWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought it with the leather and picked up the metal band later. But after wearing it for a while decided the metal was not my style, so it stays on the NATO now.

    Not sure if you still wear it on the bracelet. But you have it installed the other way round. That smaller flip clasps should be leading the band to the 6 o’clock position. And the longer clasp with the diver’s extension, sinn’s name should be linked with the bracelet to the 12 o’clock. Ergonomically both seems to make sense but that’s how most bracelets are oriented.

    What's to stop the pallet stone being knocked out of alignment again? Does the watch not hold up to shock/vibrations? I love the look of the 556 but if it can't hold up I'll pass.
    PS nice vid.

    • @NeemorsWorld
      @NeemorsWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm not sure actually. i wear it while splitting logs and digging holes for planting trees, so it gets put through a lot of shock. I will let yall know if it happens again.

    Thank goodness you put the watch on a rock………for 2 seconds. Playing with it constantly makes me think you might like a baby pacifier. Glad your Sinn back. Good choice.
