- Kohila (Lasia spinosa) is a delicious vegetable that grows around wetland areas.Both Kohila stalk and leaves are eatable.Common Kohila curry is popular in Sri Lanka.But,Kohila can be cooked in many ways.In this video,I will show you some of those.Kohila ambarum maluwa (Kohila Vege Balls) is one of them.It's a good replacement for meatballs and perfect for vegetarians.Kohila bite is also a tasty snack.It can be preserved about a month.
Lets look at some health benefits of Kohila.Due to the high prevalence of fiber,Kohila is a good cure for liver conditions.Also it reduces unnecessary toxins in the intestines and is effective for other disorders in the intestines.The Kohila tuber reduces bleeding and is given after Indigestion and Diarrhea.It increases appetite and body weight,reduces excessive urine output and burning sensation in the body.It helps to expel worms in abdomen and prevent haemorrhoid.A good news for angry buddies😂

අද බහුතරයක් ඉන්නෙ කාපු පිගානවටත් හෝදන්නෙ නැති පිරිමිනෙ. තේ එකක් වත් හරියට හදා ගන්න බැරි එවුන් තමයි හොඳට උයන්න පුළුවන් ගෑණු හොයන්නෙ ගිල ගිල ඉන්න. ගෑණු විතරක් නෙමී පිරිමිත් උයන්න පිහන්න පුරැදු වෙන්න ඕනි. මේ වගේ ගෑණු ළමයෙක් ලබන්න ඕනි ඒ ළමය එක්ක එකතු වෙලා හරි හරි වැඩ කරන්න පුළුවන් පිරිමි ළමයෙක්ම තමයි.
