@jorgevalentin Thank you for your comment and support! For some reason, your comment disappeared. But you are definitely right, whale watching is definitely an important thing in the Azores!
I really liked your video and the subjects you went in to. All those travel influencers with their beautiful shots don't actually tell and explain things. Loved the way you did it, thanks!
Same my gf and I consider going this summer, and this is the first video thet gives real information not just staged photos and product placement for bar and restaurants.
What island would you recommend if you are only there for 7-9 days ? what islands ? should we go for 1-2 islands ? or what you recommend ? July ish are we doing love water and natur :) is our 30ish :) I do some diving too.
@@Seedsofdiscovery What about diving do you know if there is any good diving center ? where on Sao miguel would you recommend living ? for 8 days ? Is it soo long just to stay there for all days ? quite a long way to jump to a new island. Thankts for fast reply!
@@devel-rh6hy Unfortunately, I am not into diving so Ive never really checked for good spots. Ponta Delgada is nice otherwise Ribeira Grande and maybe Furnas are good to book smth. If you want to do a quick jump for a day or two, Santa Maria is next by.
Portugal as a whole has become quite expensive. Usually during winter months it is cheaper. Otherwise, reaching out to local agencies could be an option. There is a price for locals which is quite cheaper than for foreigners
Hi, i enjoyed your video very much, very informative. I will be going in May for 14 days for my first time. Arriving in Sao Miguel from Montreal. Where do you suggest i stay on the island? Ponta Delgada or Sete Citades or Ribera Grande? We will be renting a car. We are not very urban people but we do not want to be too secluded. Any advise? Oh and we might go to one of the islands for 3 or 4 days. Thank you. I will be looking for more videos on the Azores
Thank you! Ponta Delgada or Ribeira Grande would be the most convenient. There aren't many hotels in Sete Citades and it may be a long trip to reach the eastern side of the island. None of these 2 cities is big but Ribeira Grande is definitely more like a small countryside city. I would say go to Faial, it is very nice as a base and you can take the ferry to Pico or Sao Jorge
Be careful about choosing a place to stay in Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande. Since COVID we have a big problem with drugs and some streets it's crazy. And sad! Always read the reviews.
The local products in here indeed very good. It's hard for me to buy something that not made around here. Most of us very traditional but open minded to try other products from around world. It's been a good journey for me around wine in Pico for example. Was not expecting it and it's been really cool. Let's see what's next 😄. Thank you and see you soon.

The most helpful video about Azores so far! Thanks a lot!
Thank you!
very helpful. thank you
Went for 7 days in January, did not rain for a single moment. I was lucky!! 17-19C by day. 14-16C by night.
Lucky!
Our islands are beautiful I was born in Terceira but they all unique .Paradise in the middle of the Atlantic
Boas informações! But there is no ferries from São Miguel to Santa Maria anymore. Since COVID.
That’s good to know! I’ve not come back in a while, so I was just hoping it had resumed!

In that amount of time I would say, stick to Sao Miguel.

I am interested in digital nomading on a visit to the Azores but how can I find an alternative to expensive AirBnB?

Do you have a local agency that you recommend? We would like to stay in guesthouses for our stay in the summer !
@@lismail14 Unfortunately I don't! But good luck and let us know if you find a good one!
Great tips…thanks!

Do you recommend going to the Azores in March?
For sure! Less tourists then and the weather is ok!

Can go for whale watching during October?
You can see whales all year long but different species migrate at different times. During winter it is mostly sperm whales I believe.
