I was there for 9 days. It had been 11 years since my last visit. It’s still the most beautiful island (imo) - missing it sm! Great video capturing its divinity.
I cannot wait to visit and explore more islands in this archipelago! I’m also very pleased to contribute to your appreciation of your own country. This is my new home, and it’s my way of honouring this place.
Amazing😍 Been on this island last week. It was incredibly beautiful also went to Madeira same magical feeling when you're standing on the famous viewpoints. 😍 I was standing there and I thought how beautiful is the earth. Special moment for me to be thankful for. Your video brings me back to that moment.
Wow! This is a work of art to the highest level! Nature at its finest and with the quality of your work, it brings so much life to every shot! I’ve watched it over and over again and made me feel I have travelled with you in Azores! Amazing work, Jan! Well done! 🎉🎉❤❤
Wow. I’ve been 3 times as my parents are from here. This is the first video of Sao Miguel that truly gives justice to its beauty and serenity. Absolutely incredible. You’ve really captured the essence of the island.
You "sell" destinations like no other!I've heard of the Azores, but your videos an d the way you discribe it made me fall in love with it.Can't wait for the opportunity to go there.Looking forward for part 2.
The Azores look stunning and your video did them justice - superb job, thank you! The Azores are now on my travel “must do” list…though I’m having fantasies of moving there.
What an incredible video! I think this is one of the most passionate videos about the Azores, in this case, São Miguel island! I loved the images, but mainly, the way you tell us all about your experience! Congrats for that! I can’t wait to see what’s next on Pico island video! 😃👌
I’m glad you think so! Thanks for your wonderful comment, and happy to hear that you enjoyed this Azores video. I’m passionate about this place, and i can’t wait to share Part 2 soon!
Wooow now i am really hyped about visiting the Azores! I really enjoyed your outlook on the world and life... great job with editing and everything! i am really impressed ... maybe have shed a tear or two....
As an azorean, from São Miguel, I always enjoy watching videos from people who visit our islands and learn about their experiences, and I must say this is probably one of the most sentimental I've seen in many years. Not only the amazing shots you've captured from all parts of the island, but also for the great information and attention to some minor technical details, like saying "caldeira" instead of "crater" like most of the people. I know it's not a big thing at all, but to me it shows knowledge and a homework well done. And your portuguese pronunciation is perfect. Thank you for this amazing video that makes me proud and reminds me of how lucky I am to be here.
Don’t miss out on Madeira if you have the chance! Sunrise at Pico do Aeriero is one of those unforgettable moments for me. Thanks for your videos on Portugal because it did help me in my planning in my previous trip!
Hello Janz! Really nice video, and amazing footages as well! I'm going there next week and I wanted to ask, how did you get the authorizations to fly the drones in the island? Thank ylu so much for your help!
I didn't know this place existed for almost my entire life! I saw a documentary on the major natural disaster that happened over 80 yrs ago. There alot of the refugees ended up in the US. They would say Ohio sucks compared to their homeland lol this place looks like a fairy tale. I want to visit so bad
Its all nice but nobody will tell you on youtube that residents might have to install house alarm because they were robbed in past. Lady which owns house in Fenaiz da Luz told me this when I lived there… So its not all so nice, some local people are poor and resort to stealing from homes…
It's a paradise, but for animals, it's a war zone, animals don't have any rights, they are abandoned, they are shot, in other words total abuse, our government only thinks about tourism, that's why I come to warn, for those who love animals , let them say in your country that Portugal commits crimes against animals and no one is to blame .
hello! i’m working on promoting a documentary that my University is traveling to the azores to in march and wanted to know if we could have your permission to use some of your video clips from the islands to use in our instagram, tiktok, and facebook promotional video with credit of course to you within these promo videos my group is assigned to creating for the documentary! thank you so much for your time :)
I visited Sao Miguel in June this year. Wow, just wow. It's the most beautiful island you can imagine. I can't wait to return one day
Would you live there ?
@tonyg9130 I think I probably could 😀
Thank you for this ephemeral photographic and videographic journey.
Worth waiting for as usual. Beautiful job and confirmation that it's somewhere one needs to go
Thank you, Mr Teek! I hope this is your sign to visit Azores immediately 🏝️🌸☀️
My great great grandfather were from the Azores, but moved his family to Hawaii. Blood sausages was something that my father always loved.

I recommend Flores for your next trip to Açores! 🌸🌸🌸
Just to add: I love the way you make me fall in love again with my own country with every video.

Is February an ideal time to visit azores?
I don't want to die before visiting azores😭
Do you know how’s the weather is in Nov?
What time of the year is this filmed?
There it goes...tourist city.
Anyone know what time of year this was? I'm thinking of going on April but don't know if it'll be lush and pretty.
This was filmed in September! I imagine in April, it would look the same, I’ve heard it’s always green in Açores
How many days would you recommend here?
4-5 days
You didnt go to the ilheu de vila franca do campo and the Ferraria? You lost big time there.
I think its ponta delgada not Sao Miguel
